I'm attempting to set up Firefox in a newly installed OS and have logged into my Sync account. Many aspects seem to be loaded in, but the status via the Settings is stuck at "Syncing..." despite waiting several hours. Quitting Firefox results in a crash window popping up.

There are no files in the weave/logs directory. The weave/failed directory has multiple json files; most almost completely empty. addons.json has an ID, but that's pretty much it.

Deleting the .mozilla directory and starting over yielded no change in behavior.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

there is no bookmark sidebar button at the right of the address bar

I am running firefox in 5 windows with at least 7 tabs each every time i exit, reopen of update it i have more that 35 Bookmark LEFT Side Bars to close IF i have the patience to close all of them WHICH NEVER HAPPENS... (this is happening since too long, I am pissed off...)

I searched, tried a couple of "solutions" to no avail

How do I remove "firefox browser being managed by your organisation" . I have looked at several posts and don't understand a word of it. I recently re-installed Firefox and lost all my passwords but still have bookmarks, every time I turn off firefox it forgets my account sign in, I then get an email to say I have signged in on a new device. I suspect it is the Norton 360 security software. Please can someone explain in simple terms how to remove it. I have tried contacting Norton but their support is worse than Microsoft.

I just downloaded firefox for the first time because Chrome disabled uBlocker. I have added uBlocker and 1Password as extensions, but neither of them are working on any webpage at all. I also can't pin extentions. I have restarted firefox and my computer several times. What do I do?

i do not want to reinvent my entire life with passwords you do not share with my previous search engine. please let me return to Safari, with Mozilla Firefox in the background.

I accidentally uninstalled firefox and need to recover passwords and bookmarks. Can this be done? I run an old dell latitude with Windows 10 and was trying to cleanup apps running in background at startup since it was running very slowly. At one point I saw 2 firefox icons. i was trying to access shopify and its protect behind a firewall and it was asking if firefox as access to the internet or its being protect by the firewall how would i go about using this website if i don't know how to go about this

I use Gmail, and when I receive a newsletter from the local government, Gmail does not display the images in the newsletter. I've set Gmail to display the images (photographs), so I'm guessing Firefox must have a setting that is blocking the display?

When searching on the internet, after entering the search name and hitting enter. The search results are on a Yahoo search page. I can't find any malware, extension, add-on that is associated with Yahoo. I did see a log that was in red that was associated with a website I attempted to convert a png file to a ico file. However, after downloading the software it was for converting PDF's to images. so I uninstalled it. it was after that Yahoo showed up. That log in web history was associated with the software.

Hello there！ I recently updated Firefox to 137.0.1. But the update doesn't automatically display the status bar when you hover over the bottom of the page. I had to resize Firefox to make it full screen to display the status bar properly. This makes it difficult for me to use Firefox. I'm pretty sure this is due to a version update. This problem occurred after I updated the Firefox browser, during which time my Windows system was not updated. Is there any solution? Or how can I download a previous version of the browser?

I’m using the Firefox Multi-Account Containers extension and would like to remove a site that’s been set to "Always open in [X] container." However, I don’t see a “Manage Site List” option anywhere in the container settings as seen here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/containers

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

   I’ve clicked the Containers icon and selected the gear ⚙️ to edit a container.

   I enabled privacy.userContext.siteAssignments.enabled in about:config and set it to true.

   I restarted Firefox (with session restore on), but still no option appears to view or manage assigned sites.

I’m on Firefox Desktop (Mac), and I’ve confirmed that I’m using the official Multi-Account Containers extension.

Is this a bug, a UI change, or something I’m missing? I’d really prefer not to manually edit the containers.json file if there’s a built-in way to manage these assignments.
