Hello, I installed the Firefox 158.8 update on my iMac (macOS Sequoia 15.8.1) today. All websites are working as usual, except for Amazon Prime Video; it loads once and then freezes. I can't perform any actions on the page—everything remains unresponsive. I can't enter a different URL in the address bar or reload the page, either. The only thing I can do is close the page. I’ve cleared the cache and disabled ad blockers, but nothing changes. Strangely, this doesn't happen with Firefox on my MacBook. What could the problem be?

I have received today 16/10/2026 an email purporting to be from Firefox telling me that my account will be terminated in 7 days and account totally deleted. I'm not sure it's genuine as I use Firefox regularly as my main server. If it is correct can you indicate how I maintain my access to the web and my Firefox account please? Firefox repeatedly displays the same permission popup on a lot of website and tabs and especially when I open,ChatGPT. Even after I check “Remember this decision” and select Allow or Block, it keeps returning. I already changed the permission settings, but that didn’t fix it. How do I permanently stop this popup and make Firefox save my choice?

I'm on desktop. I clicked on what turned out to be a YouTube mobile link and now my Firefox desktop browser will only load the mobile version of YouTube. I tried several standard troubleshooting steps, including clearing history, cookies, and site data, disabling all extensions, and checking about:config for a user-agent override, none of which resolved the issue. YouTube has loaded correctly in a private window. It also loads correctly when I created a new firefox profile. I'm assuming the original profile is corrupted in some way. Is this the correct answer? Is there any way to fix it?

my firefox browser is registered to my old email address "mhesky@hotmail.de". Because of an hacker attack i had to delete this email address. My new email address is "Hesky85@outlook.de".

My problem is, that i cant change the email in firefox because a confirmation email will send to my old email address that doesent exist any more.

How can i change the firefox account to my new email address?

hello, I am using novation components online: https://components.novationmusic.com/ It's the only thing I have to do with an other browser because firefox does not support the midi features... It is pity... Maybe one day it will work... All the best

Hi. My Macbook Air (M1, 2020) has been performing slowly in recent days. I'm not playing video games or watching videos, just mostly working on many tabs in Firefox (157.0.1). I looked in my Mac's Activity Monitor, which shows that Firefox GPU Helper is using about 5.75 GB of memory. The next few highest users say "Firefox Isolated Web Content." Could any of these be what is slowing my Mac down? I'll attach a screenshot of my Activity Monitor. I also clicked "Share Data" below. I would say that my Macbook is working at a fine speed at the moment, so perhaps the screenshot and data are not so helpful. Let me know if I can add something later in a reply, when my Mac is moving slowly, that would be helpful. Thanks.

Are there any recommended Firefox browser extensions or built-in tools that help organize research notes and bookmarked pages efficiently? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I wish FF would test and step through their instructions first. The instructions for Ad Blocker: " Settings > Browsing > Ad Blocker" It isn't as easy as they instruct: "How it works: Ad Blocker uses Apple’s WebKit Content Blocker technology and the EasyList filter list to determine what gets blocked. There’s no separate extension to install, and you can turn it on." Search settings unable to find Ad Blocker. Yes, FF browser is up to date.! FF expends a lot of verbiage to promote a new feature yet so slim on step by step instructions.
