Would be nice if someone from Mozilla could build this into the browser, so users can easily change their Time Zone.
( Timezone Difference: The time zone of your browser is UTC while your request IP location timezone is different. )
Currently have privacy.resistFingerprinting on which is giving website the UTC time zone. How do I change this without disabling the setting.
Can I go into About:Config and add a new timezone?? that the Javascript request will find.

I opened firefox today and after an update found an unwanted item on my toolbar - a little puzzle piece icon that brings up a menu of extensions. I have no use for this button and I never will, and I do not want it on my toolbar, but for some reason the option to remove it has been greyed out and it cannot be moved or removed using toolbar customisation. Someone please tell me how I can remove this pointless item from my toolbar.
Facebook won't load & refresh daily. Loading page from yesterday.

Hello,
I use several websites that utilize mutual TLS authentication, also known as client certificate authentication. As a developer behind some of these websites, we will frequently launch and relaunch some of these sites to test different changes, so we don't usually bother with getting a properly signed certificate for the site. Developers must add a security exception for accessing the sites, which then prompt for user authentication using client certificates.
The problem I am encountering is that the "Remember this decision" checkbox on the "User Identification Request" does not seem to be working properly. There is one site which makes several connections when the page is first loaded and we have to click "Ok" on the "User Identification Request" about 10 times before the page fully loads. Other sites will randomly prompt for the request again when fetching data. The hostname and port do not change between requests.
I've tried replicating this behavior with a basic Apache httpd server setup with client authentication, but it doesn't seem to happen for the basic site. If this is happening due to a server configuration issue, I would like to know what it is that is causing it so that I can fix it. When using Chrome, this behavior does not happen.
Thank you!

'TotalAdblock' add covers the bottom of whatever I am seeing preventing use of the bottom information or choices displayed there. If I use and hold the right hand image slider I am able to see another line of the desired information, but it slips behind the add as soon as I release the slider.
Today 2/7/2023, when I opened a new window, "AddBlock" was not there and everything worked fine.

I'm trying to perform the clean reinstall for Firefox on my computer. But, I see the instructions for the uninstall, Delete the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
Windows: (Note: Check both folders.) C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
Being I'm not computer wizard I had trouble finding the location of such folder. But when I accessed my program list in my windows program list I see a program named Mozilla maintenance service. When I click on that I see a format/window to "uninstall C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Maintenance Service\." Is this the program/folder I need to uninstall to complete the proper instructions I need to perform a clean install? If so, when I delete it I then reinstall Firefox once again after the uninstall procedure? Is performing the uninstall procedure going to screw up my Firefox browser and my many bookmarks I have accumulated over the years? Can someone please help and explain? Thank you.

I am on a Macbook air running Firefox 109.0.1 with DuckDuckGo as the engine. This past week I've had webpages that I am using disappear leaving me with a blank tab. In the middle of the game or puzzle it just disappears and there I am with the Firefox logo on the page. The tab doesn't close, just the content is gone. The back button doesn't work - it's as if I have set a new tab. The two sites that seem to be disappear most frequently are: thejigsawpuzzle.com https://freeonlinemahjonggames.net/dogmahjong2.html both of which we have used for years without problems. It doesn't happen every time we use the webpages but at least once a day. We have restarted the computer and Firefox. This laptop is just a couple of weeks old, could that somehow be the issue?

There should be a guide by now or easy settings built into the browser to change these settings.
I'm having trouble with websites that think I'm a Bot, because they are detecting multiple operating systems/ OS, due to my settings and privacy extensions.
Is there anything in About:Config that I can change to set my OS to Windows??
Common methods for websites detecting someone's OS is by using Javascript, User Agent, and TCP/IP fingerprinting.
How do I fake the Javascript test? There's extensions that block Scripts but that leaves people unable to use websites, is there any command I can put in and set as default?
User Agent test - There's a few extensions that will work to change this, though if I can change this through About:config or other settings I would like to know.
The TCP/IP protocol controls how data is sent between computers and how the sender and receiving computers are identified. Mostly this is done identically by every computer, but some small parameters are implemented differently by different operating systems, creating a ‘fingerprint’.
I'm told this is very difficult to fake, but has a larger error rate anyway.

I am re-installing Windows10 Pro for a clean install. I made a backup of my profiles of Firefox and Thunderbird, both in AppData Local and Roaming. After reinstallation of Firefox and Thunderbird, I deleted the new profiles and recovered the old ones. Now I get a message that I'm missing a profile. I still get it after deleting the apps and doing a clean install. What can I do?
