When I want to search something I usually open a new tab (Ctr+T) then quickly hit Tab so my typing indicator goes from the Address Bar to the Search Bar, but with a recent update there is now a "Search Selection" part that is in the way so I have to hit Tab twice.

I know this seems petty but I have been the simplest happiest minimalist user for the past 25 years and I've never had issues with Ctr+T followed by Tab to search something. Why did you implement a change that I am sure nobody has ever asked? Please revert it back or explain to my fatigued mind how to do it if it is possible.

I was going through my account settings today and noticed that two factor was disabled. I thought this odd as I usually set it up on any account I use, so I of course turned it on and went about linking my authenticator app and generating account recovery codes. Yet in my authenticator app there was already a Mozilla account with my email, but the codes it supplied did not work. I also found old account recovery codes I had written down which did not work either.

What could have happened to cause this? I must have had two factor on sometime in the past and added it to my app and generated recovery codes. How could it have been disabled, the old codes made invalid, and Microsoft authenticator unlinked? Am I looking at an account breach somehow? I have no unusual activity as far as I can tell and no recent data or password breaches. The only thing I can think of was I removed a number of old devices from my account and signed out of them, but I still own the old PC's so no one could be using them.

Whenever I launch a YouTube video, It starts then the whole page freezes. No links work and no menus shows up when I click my mouse. I can do nothing to get the video to unfreeze. All I ca do is close the window.

Both amazon.ca and mec.ca emails do not show anything in the body of an e-mail. If I use a different browser (duckduckgo) everything is ok and I can read the whole e-mail. This only started with the Firefox version 149 but is continuing with version 149.0.2. My email is handled by yahoo.ca via rogers.com. So far I am seeing this only with the two companies listed here.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I have for years disabled crash reporter on firefox, however it recently crashed 149.0.1 (64-bit) & sent info ANYWAY! it then upgraded to 149.0.2

My credit card info has always been saved and until recently I could click one of the saved options and it would populate at checkout. But a few months ago (at best guess) - this stopped populating. So at checkout I can see the card details but nothing happens when I click on them so have no choice but to enter by hand.

I've gone into settings and the 'save and autofill' box is ticked - but for the life of me I can't get it to autofill any longer.

Any advice would be appreciated. It must be different setting on my laptop but just can't figure it out.

Certain webpages are now enlarged to the point of being unusable. I have not changed any settings in Firefox. Zoom is at the typical 100% and zooming out does not fix the issue. I have attached a screenshot of what this page looks like so you can see. I have tried searching ways to fix this and cannot figure it out. Help is greatly appreciated.

Every time I attempt to change my search engine from DuckDuckGo I am unsuccessful. The browser simply reverts back to DuckDuckGo. I am running Windows 11 and have installed each and every update that has come along.

Downloaded recent Firefox update. Restarted PC. Logged into a site I use (and need this season). I could not even use a saved bookmark for login page. Cannot log in to it.

I added the site under Firefox settings option.

I tried logging in with Private mode, where I was able to use bookmark for login page. HOWEVER, I quickly experienced issues and got attached warnings. I reported 'site not working' on the debug option. While this usually immediately fixes a problem, it did nothing at all.

This is why I am always AFRAID of installing the "Updates" - I frequently lose functions. It takes as TREMENDOUS amount of time to fix them and there is no "help button" on Firefox or Mozilla to scan issue and fix it.

Hi Mozilla Can you improve firefox 115 in next update because this browser is slow and need to improvements in performance, i'm using windows 8.1 and i'm can't upgrade to windows 10

All of a sudden I Google search in Firefox isn't fully working. I only use Firefox but I tried the same thing in Edge and that works. I can search simple things in Firefox e.g. recipe for beef stew but when I ask for natural recipe for stain remover on clothes for example it just comes up with the word "thinking" and nothing else happens. I have NOT changed any settings. Thank you. Oriel

I do web development and find that Update Available popup to be a real hassle as I am constantly reloading my browser to view edits.

How do I disable that annoying beg notice from making my life miserable?

henn typing website keeps going to about blank/ crashes all time/ locks up unable to open sites like home depot/autozone xtra slow respondes. must be time to use something else firefox has gotten unusable

This has happened several times. I open password manager and am told there are 0 saves, I start putting passwords in and within a week or 10 days it is again 0 saved, Very frustrating
