I still have windows 8.1. I do all my bill paying online. I can no longer open my banks website for online business. I thought Firefox had renewed support through 2026? Wasnt Firefox a search engine? The listed search s - none of them open banks etc.

i have used mozilla for many years, i HATE google! last night 12/31/24 duckduckgo was my search engine, i stayed up until 1 or 2am on 1/1/2025 and watched several youtube videos (i had been watching them all day) and turned my computer off and went to bed. around 9am 1/1/2025 i got up and turned on my computer, clicked mozilla in my toolbar and started a search, I GOT GOOGLE RESULTS, SO HIT THE BACK ARROW AND NOTICED GOOGLE WAS MY SEARCH ENGINE!! DID YOU DO AN UPDATE OR ANYTHING TO CHANGE MY SEARCH ENGINE TO GOOGLE? i managed to download duckduckgo and make it my search engine again. BUT i NEED to know if this happened on YOUR END, or if GOOGLE did something. I HAD NOT MADE ANY CHANGES TO MY COMPUTER ON 12/31/2024 OR THE EARLY MORNING HOURS AFTER MIDNIGHT!!!

IF MOZILLA DID THIS , I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY, BUT IF IT WAS NEFARIOUSLY DONE BY GOOGLE, THEN IM PISSED!!! THANK YOU!

I have had 2 sites produce this error box in place of the target Web Site (See Picture). I have read previous topics about this and have followed the instructions with no positive results. FYI, clearing the web site's cookies, clearing Cache and disabling Hardware acceleration.

The first was https://www.walmart.com. After leaving a "Feedback" 2 weeks ago it appears as if they were able to fix the problem. However, the site is not as important as my Medicare PPO provider. I tried loading previous versions of Firefox, but that did not help.

In both instances the LOL "support" people's response was to try a different Browser. So, I reluctantly loaded Google Chrome and it worked perfectly. From my perspective, this eliminates everything to do with my machine setup.

Below is the sign-on URL (not unique to me). Please note that this 668 character URL has not changed for over a year. It is just Aetna's adoption of the Imperva Security Firewall. Both my Winders 8.1 and Winders 10 machines produce the identical results.

Today as usual went to open Firefox but made the wrong choice instead of choosing do you want to allow fire fox to be your browser I chose the wrong button result message came up cannot open I think it was something like can not use I think it was like lcd.If that makes sense please help

Hello. My tablet, has limited memory, due to its age. I am now finding that one of the main reasons why it is so slow is because whenever I open firefox, it opens multiple firefox processes which drain the memory and in some cases crashes the system. I have followed all the advice given to reduce these multiple processes, however nothing seems to work and at least 6-8 firefox processes open each time I open it. I have unchecked the recommended performance settings as well as hardware acceleration boxes. However, I cannot find where to set the content process limit to 1. Please tell me how to do this and if there anything else I can try to stop it opening multiple processes or I may be forced to ditch Firefox altogether for an alternate such as Bing, Chrome or DuckDuckGo. I just changed my email address from [email 1 removed]@gmail.com to [email 2 removed]@gmail.com. However, [email 2 removed]@gmail.com was locked and I kindly request to have it unlocked. I prefer to use the new email address [email 2 removed]@gmail.com.

First, is there a list of commandline options?

Second, I would like to be able to start Firefox with a specified URL from a batch file -or- a .net program. Then, either close FF -or- switch to a different URL. is this possible?

msn.com and outlook.com recently changed their login procedure and I can't login using firefox. I get an error 400.
