I have recently reinstalled windows and then installed Firefox. When I go to settings then click on an item Firefox freezes.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled (with revo uninstaller) but it still happens.

Would appreciate suggestions.

I'm getting errors when trying to make online card payments with Firefox. Things like, Invalid card number, not being able to type number in box provided, (No Cursor). It works ok on some sites but not others. However, if I switch to the Edge browser all transactions work perfectly. This has been happening for some time (Windows 11). I'm thinking this could be a bug but not sure.

I have been having with YouTube for a couple of days. It asks to turn off ad blockers. I have done so and it still requests to turn ad blockers and still won't allow viewing. YouTube works on other browsers.

I am sure YouTube is playing games but can you help?

I use photopea.com for photo editing and stuff, but I accidentally clicked on the option to have that site not show a pop-up asking if I'm sure I want to leave the site and asking if I'm sure I want to close a project. Now I can't close projects at all.

Can someone tell me how I can re-enable it for the website?

I noticed past few months I'm getting this message from cloudflare after using certain websites while using Firefox on Desktop. I have refresh Firefox every time this happens I tried disabling my adblockers, lowering settings, and disabling my Pi-Hole the issue still persists. Does anyone know what the issue might be or someone else experiencing this?

Firefox 116.0.2 64bit on Windows 11 Pro 22621.2134

I noticed today that a video hosted on the website Reddit has subtitles on it. When I view the video in other browsers it does not have subtitles. Why are subtitles being generated in Firefox for this video? Is there a way I can disable these subtitles? While often useful, the subtitles in this case just get in the way.

I want to get rid of that url bar that pops up on the left bottom of the screen when you hover over a bookmark, a link on a page, a video... anything that leads to another web address. It disappears when you hover over it and changes to the right bottom of the screen. It appears when i'm trying to watch videos on sites when i'm in full screen and refuses to go away. I've tried the chrome folder solution posted here and it doesn't work. I've tried many other solutions online and they don't work either.

A few of the things that were supposed to be labeled as they were in the solution were not available on my new version of FF but I found the correct folder to post the chrome folder in regardless. The box to open the profile folder was further down and labeled differently than in the instructions posted from a year or more ago here.

I'm using a fresh install of windows 11 and the latest version of Fire Fox 115.0.2 64bit

There was no such problem before, after the 117 update, the CSS theme I use is constantly reset and the browser returns to its default theme. The screen goes black for a moment and then the theme resets or the browser crashes. Is there anyone who has experienced the same problem? Any possible solutions?

To identify myself I had to scan a qr code on a website using my phone. This used to work in firefox but it doesn't anymore. It still works in edge. I'm using firefox 119.0.1 x64 on windows 11 home 22H2. How can I fix this?

Hello. Last night i had to reinstall windows and i lost everything. but in firefox i have loged in and synced. its also synced with my safari browser on my phone. is it possible in any way to get my bookmarks and passwords back? because everything is gone and the profile folder only shows dates after i installed firefox again!

I wish to install and use the Firefox browser on my old 64bit Windows 7 laptop.

I believe the last v115 will be the last Windows 7 compatible version of Firefox, if this is correct where can I find this or the correct version of Firefox to download and install on my Windows 7 laptop?

The Firefox website only seems to provide v119 now.

Hi, how do I enable notification web sites pop-up message from the corner of my windows taskbar ie; from my screenshot? I want to switch 100% away from Chrome but this one feature I can't figure out how to enable from web sites like Twitter/youtube/reddit/etc...

Gmail sidebar loads Calendar no error but sidebar empty/clear/white; Calendar only (other sidebar apps eg Tasks or Contacts load fine); Firefox only (other browsers eg Chrome or Edge no problem.

I have just completed a new computer with new Windows 11 and fresh dowhload of Firefox and was very dissappointed to find that the Firefox font sizes on the menu and toolbars were very difficult to read because of their small size. Most of the available settings in Windows and firefox to increase the font size resulted in making the web pages and fonts bigger as well. Looking through the the Firefox help pages this seems to be a common problem that lacks a satisfactory solution - untill now.

I solved the problem by going into about:config and making the following changes: 1. Make sure that Browser.Display.OS-zoom-behaviour is set to 1 2. Set Layout.css.devPixelsperPx to 1.3 ( or between 1.1 to 1.5 to suit) 3. Set ui.textScaleFactor to 75 ( or between 75 to 100 to suit, decrease this number as you increase previous)

This solved the problem for me and I'm posting in the hope others may find this usefull.
