I am running Selenium automated tests in Firefox. The problem is that, when running tests on Firefox, the browser is open in "Browser is under remote control" mode and then the session cookies are not kept when the browser is closed.

If I authenticate on my web app out of this "Browser is under remote control" mode, the ai_session cookie is kept as expected. It only is discarded when I am on that mode.

Taking that into account:

1. Is there a way to configure Firefox to keep session cookies even when running in the "Remote control" mode? 2. When configuring Selenium WebDriver, is there some option that allows me to force the browser to keep the session cookies?

When you go to https://www.northshore.com, instead of redirecting to our main site (https://www.northshorecare.com) Firefox displays an incorrect warning that the site you were about to be redirected to is somehow a potential security risk. This happened to me in regular Firefox, Nightly and the Developer edition, so it's not just an anomoly. The live site is fully SSL-compliant and poses no such threat to the user. Is it because the redirecting domain is not secure? Can you create an exception so that people don't see this erroneous message? Or is there a way we can alter the redirect so that it doesn't trigger this warning?

The old adage "you never get a second chance to make a first impression" is in full effect in this situation and I'm sure you can see that we certainly don't want to give people any reason to not continue to our site, so hopefully you can offer a solution to this problem.

Thanks in advance!

Our business website has recently been relaunched, it displays fine on other browsers but is beyond broken on Firefox. I've attached a screenshot of how it looks on Chrome, to see how it looks on Firefox here is our url: https://www.exegetic.biz/.

As you can see it's VASTLY different and VERY frustrating. I've done a fair amount of reading as to what the issue could be but all the suggestions I have found are end user based... For example emptying the cache, clearing cookies, checking the zoom etc. This doesn't really help since I've looked at the site on various devices with FireFox and they all appear the same...

Has anyone else experienced this? Any help would e greatly appreciated!

I have a ditty news ticker on my Wordpress site (https://www.visionarycomics.com/), it is located at the top of the main page. The title of the ticker (BREAKING NEWS) shows up, but the rotating links will not show up on my Firefox browser. They do show up on other browsers like Chrome, and other people have said they can see the links on their Firefox browser, so I'm wondering if there is some setting I have on mine that prevents me from seeing these?

We thought it might be outdated themes and fonts, but fixed those, I checked Wordpress support and found a similar problem which was fixed by adding custom CSS code to the ticker, so I did that, and nothing works.

I would appreciate any help or guidance on this.

When clicking on a link like this in firefox: phpstorm://open?url=file://C:\wamp\www\myproject\src\AppBundle\Controller\AppController.php&line=17

I am asked which .exe I would like to associate with this protocol, I choose phpstorm.exe.

But the app supposed to open the file (phpstorm) gives me the following error:

Cannot find file 'C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\phpstorm:\open?url=file:\C:\wamp\www\myproject\src\AppBundle\Controller\AppController.php&line=17'

The problem seems to be that the path is prepended with "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox" How do I change this behaviour ? Thanks.

Hi, I'm developing some code in js , and use many functions in my file.js

I use FF Quantum v.63 on ubuntu 18.04 64 bit

In the Web Developer section, on the Debugger tab, when I set the break points and need to reload the page so I can run also the init functions, then the break point are lost, more precisely they are pointing the first line in file with the same code as the breakpoint was set.

for example: I have many lines as

var self = this;

when I put a break on a line like this, then when I reload the page, the break is pointing to the linenum 36 where there is the first code occurrence like I breakpointed.

On chrome, when I put the break for ex. to the line 1000, when reload the break is on line 1000!

I am debugging an Angular 5 app in Firefox DE, but the page load is very slow when debugging.

I have blackboxed a number of scripts, e.g. common.chunk.js, polyfils.bundle.js and more besides, but still slow.

I notice that the sources panel, after the delay, updates to include "Angular", so I am assuming that the delay is likely there. I have expendanded that folder and it naturally contains a great many files.

Is there a way of blackboxing these too, without individually selecting them? Or are there other tips for speeding up/skipping files when debugging an Angular application?

Thanks, Victor
