Every web page with video / audio content begins to autoplay (at the vid's highest volume) approximately 5 seconds after opening the page. I could disable this in Safari and Chromium, but see no option to disable the 'Autoplay' feature in Firefox. Worse, there are no plug-ins or extensions available that will allow this to be done. If you have had success disabling this annoying 'feature' (it's not a 'bug,' right?), please advise how it was done so that I may rid myself of these annoying vids. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have been trying forever to find the REAL google images search engine, so i can add it to the search bar. You know how you type in a word or phrase, and then can click that spyglass icon, to scroll down and choose a search engine? Well Google is there, but not google Images, which i use all the time. But when i click on "change search settings", and from there click on "add more search engines", all my most intense efforts to find the actual, original google images search "Google Images", only leads to a bunch of imitations that have you right-click an image and search for others like it.
But the real one, the one i want to add to my search engines drop-down, has you simply type in a word right there, and click on the icon to search. (ie., no need to click any image first!)
How can i get this real one into my search bar engines list?

I have upgraded to Windows 10 and find that in many detailed places, it keeps reverting to Edge as the default browser. I want to get only Firefox. How can I stop Edge being forced on me? There is nowhere to uninstall it. When I identify Firefox as default from within Firefox, nothing changes. How on earth can Microsoft abuse its own customers in this way?

I had to delete the launch shortcuts for 34 but can figure out how to get a desktop launch/shortcut for firefox 54. Any help would be great. This is on an old NEC versa pro VY10A with a Centrino Duo. For a while now I have been getting the above message when I try to open Mozilla Firefox. I have reinstalled Firefox and deleted Malwarebytes but the message persists. Below the tabs, it provides a long list of ways to "restore browser" purportedly detected during their last scan, which I have not attempted to correct. MF downloaded fine, but I cannot get to see the browser. Please provide a solution as simple as possible. This looks like malware to me.

Seriously. This is downright stupid. I attempted to download Firefox for the first time on this laptop and got a "This file is corrupt" error before the downloading portion was even done. I cancelled the download and retried and it went all the way though although it froze temporarily around the 66% mark and then finished. But after that I got "couldn't load XPCOM" so I did I completely uninstalled Firefox and then attempted to reinstall and again at the 66% mark at downloading I got "Couldn't load XPCOM"...the heck is going on with this oversized hunk of junk?

Once the arrow goes away and the hand appears, all is lost. the link is useless. This has happened several times in the last few months but this time it is happening on NPR when I try to listen to the broadcast. If I use Safari, it works fine. I have been loyal to Firefox though thick and thin but this is taking me to the point of reconsidering - too many useless links that I have to use another browser for.
