Fonts not working since upgraded to MacOS Catalina. Getting question marks on certain fonts. Seems like a font conflict, but I haven't been able to isolate.
Certain fonts show up as question marks. See attached image. This happened only after I upgraded to MacOS Catalina.

When I try to print from one banking site using Firefox, it cuts off either the date on the left or the amount on the right; on another banking site, though the list of transactions is perfectly viewable on screen, when printed the hard copy appears in miniscule font which is unreadable. Unless something can be done about these shortcomings I shall be forced to use another browser for online banking, which I don't want to do.

I have combed the shortcuts and the about:config page with no luck. Do you know of a way to unbind ctrl-n or disable it completely from Firefox?

Is there any sort of workaround that would allow me to get to this site?
(And, BTW, why does Firefox absurdly tell me to inform the web site about this error when the error prevents me from getting to the web site?)

I have an HP Probook laptop with a Core-I5 CPU, 8 GB of RAM and a WD Black NVMe SSD running Windows 10 version 1809. it's about 4 months old and has been running fantastically. I use Firefox as my default browser and have had no problems with it until two days ago, when it suddenly developed a massive delay. it shows up in multiple ways. When opening a webpage, my CPU will jump to about 50% and I cannot scroll for a number of seconds, as many as 10 seconds. Also, highlighting/copying/pasting operations have as much as a 10-second delay before they appear on screen, and I sometimes cannot type in a search box for several seconds or text I do type doesn't appear in a search box for several seconds. I've tried refreshing Firefox and also starting it in safe mode with add-ons disabled, but the same symptoms happen then. I uninstalled and reinstalled and that had no effect. I performed a complete uninstall using Revo uninstaller, rebooted and reinstalled and even then it still has the same symptoms, even though I haven't added any add-ons or extensions. I've run malware scans and disk cleanup with no improvement. I can browse normally with IE or Chrome and they show none of these symptoms, but I prefer Firefox. Please help me determine what suddenly changed on July 20th or 21st, 2019. I've used Firefox for years and never had a problem like this, and no amount of refreshing/reinstalling/rebooting/disabling add-ons or extensions seems to have any effect. If it comes down to a complete format/reinstall of Windows, I'll likely just use a different browser but I'd really like to get Firefox working again.

I even reinstalled and updated to the latest FF version from the esr version just to get notifications working, now realize they aren't of much use if they auto disappear before i can read them ! ?

I'd like for Firefox's address bar to behave similarly to Chrome's where if I type just a few characters of the URL it autocompletes the entire url and not just the base site. Say for example a Reddit sub: If I want to go to /r/FantasyFootball in Chrome all I have to do is type 're' & since reddit.com/r/fantasyfootball is bookmarked Chrome will complete the entire URL. This does not happen in Firefox, regardless of whether I have it bookmarked or not. It only goes to 'reddit.com' and I have to type the rest of the URL from there.
I want to switch to Firefox 100% of the time but this is a deal breaker for me. Chrome's autocomplete is streets ahead of Firefox's & I'm hopeful there's a way to close this gap.

I'm on a contract with 4G/5G connection speed but with very limited data usage allowance. Many websites choose to play HD media because of the very fast connection, but this is terrible for my plan. I want a setting to tell Firefox to always save as much bandwidth as possible and always choose lowest possible quality for every media. Or at the very least not load videos as long as I'm trying to change the automatically pre-determined video quality. With FF69 clicking on a video on Youtube will start loading and playing HD quality and thus simply wasting precious bandwidth.
