  Firefox is currently my "default" browser.  I am running the most current updated Firefox browser.  I am using a desktop iMac with OS of Tahoe 26.1     
  It appears since the latest few updates (on Firefox) over the last week or so, I can no longer log in to my online banking.  I am able to enter my username and password (I'm using the 1Password app on this desktop and my iOS).  After entering my username and password, the progress wheel just spins and spins and nothing further happens.  The screen just sits there and does not progress to the next webpage allowing entry to my banking.  I know that it is a problem with the Firefox browser.   When I log in to my online banking using Chrome, I have no issues, it logs right in.  
  What is going on?   Please advise.  I'm thinking about ditching Firefox and going with Chrome or Safari.

As usual on forums, none of the subject choices exactly fit my situation/problem, so I apologize for any unintended misdirection.

How do I uninstall Privacy Badger. It's been disabled, but not uninstalled. Please be specific as to keystrokes, screens, boxes, location of item. Many instructions tend to overuse computer jargon or common industry synonyms used daily within their sphere, which a laymen cannot easily translate, and often raise more questions than they answer. Installed on my Firefox browser. Thank you in advance.

hi, I love supporting this independent browser - I know its not perfect but it does a great job of doing most things well.

However, and there is a big but. I can be in the middle of an investigation that requires sharing data to a new tab - on opening the tab I'm blocked from going further as Firefox needs to do an update! This is really infuriating. No update can be SO urgent that you stop me using the browser. This is the Microsoft mentality, and its wrong. Can you please investigate NOT forcing users to update their browser during session.

When I try to visit a specific journal site that requires authentication, the browser automatically redirects me to an authentication page that I have used before. This is very annoying because every time I click a link to the journal, I’m sent to the other portal and can’t access the article. I want to stress that I haven’t installed any add‑on that would cause this redirection. I think I did that myself manually but I have no idea how. I’ve already deleted the cookies for both sites, but nothing has changed. I hope that makes sense, it’s a bit difficult to explain.

I'm using firefox 147.0, on mac Tahoe 26.2.

REPEATING IMAGES involving . Macbook Air M4 Tahoe 26.2

When sliding from the primary Mac screen to another on the same computer the Firefox image (and ONLY that image) is duplicated on each additional screen image loaded making the use of multiple screens virtually useless.

When attempting to sign in to my social security account I get the following message: Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

Ever since the last update, I haven't been able to log into my yahoo account. I am able to access the account through other browsers and on my phone but not on my laptop.

Whenever I try to access the Powerball website I get the following response -

The request is blocked. 20260116T144515Z-17584c64c9f58vrnhC1MIAm1t80000000t4g00000000rcec

I have no issue with other browsers.

Looking at my Firefox 147.0.1 settings for macOS 26.2 (Apple M1), I'm trying to adjust two settings:

-- I'd like to remove Languages -> English (GB) (its existence has odd side effects, like triggering United Airlines to offer fares in Pounds Sterling, and I'd prefer to just have English (US))

-- I'd like to disable Play Audio and Video for about:welcome (in regular and private windows)

I can see no way to accomplish this currently -- why?

When I downloaded Firefox, I was able to add sites in a start page. There were sponsored sites like Amazon, Wikipedia, Reddit. I deleted those and added my own. Can you tell me where to find that page?

In the settings, I selected a custom url for the homepage. The only other choice was the Firefox default page (which doesn't have the sites that I selected)

I am on MacBook Pro Venture 13.4.1, firefox 147.0.1. How do I restore old windows with their tabs? I tried to have only one of my 5 windows (with tabs) opening every time I opened firefox. Always two opened, the second one was always the same and not one I had most recently used. Couldn't find an answer, so I went to settings and turned off "Open previous windows and tabs" and turned off firefox and back on again. Then all my windows were gone! How do I get those 5 windows back?
