I am trying to print this PDF file. When I print through Firefox, the "R" characters are replaced with "T"s Printing with any other application such as preview on my mac does not result in this issue.

My browser plays a notification sound repeatedly. Possibly every time a window opens. It sounds so many times its annoying. The sound is the same as when I plug a device into my computer. Such as a mouse. But it happens as I open or close a window. And sometimes when it seems there's nothing visible happening. The sound occurs three or four times in a row sometimes.

Firefox tab crashes whenever I try to open Firefox. I have AOL and Firefox browser. I've tried the close and reload, restart laptop, and redownloading Firefox to no avail. However, I was able to open my AOL and email. I reached this help page using Edge.

After most recent update all my bookmarks and passwords disappeared and I cannot seem to recover them. This is extremely frustrating. Has anyone else had this happen? I tried using the recovery process but it did not work.

I have recently encountered reproducible failures when attempting to download files or save pages to local storage. The target directory is located on a mounted NTFS file system with the options umask=007, user=root, and group=disk. My Firefox browser is running under a non-root user account that is a member of the disk group. However, I consistently receive the error message: “XXX could not be saved because the source file could not be read.”

I would greatly appreciate anyone's assistance in resolving this issue.

I am using Mozilla as my default web browswer in Unix environment. It is great... except for a particular behavior of the browser window. When I middle click (MB2) the frame of the window, it doesn't go to the background, like all my other windows. Intead it opens a new tab (when I click at the top of the window). This is very annoying becaue I use MB2 /go to background all th etime. Any idea how to change that behavior and make it consistent with my general unix preference? When I approved the installation of the latest Foxfire update this morning, I got the message "Couldn't load XPCOM." Another popup message included "error status 0xc000012f." Firefox does not work. Thanks, Joan Karrie

Can someone please help.. My passwords are saving. They auto fill...But before this latest version I had a few sites that I could ciIck on the bookmark and it would just open without having too log in.. I do have clear and delete cookies and history, but in previous versions these were in the exempt list so everything was saved. Would like that to still be in place both in private Firefox and normal.. This version has wiped out a lot of settings I assume I dont want to have to log in and go through check ups..Passwords and user details are there but not auto log in think there exception rule in previous version not sure where that is now

The update to v145 completely changed how background color and highlighting of HTML emails are displayed. It was nicer before. Can someone please share which setting in about:config to change to return to HTML display in previous versions?

One of the things I like most about Firefox is the home page with 'tiles' for my most used websites. Since the last upgrade some of my tiles have the website logos but most do not. Is there a way I can fix this?

Following a restart procedure on Windows 10 today, all my saved Firefox Passwords have now gone! (Firefox 144.0.2 (64-bit))

Can I recover them?

The tab group suggestion feature is unavailable for me, even though I am on Firefox 145.0 (64-Bit on Windows 11 Pro 25H2). I tried using guides like [one from mozilla] https://www.askvg.com/enable-or-disable-new-ai-powered-smart-tab-groups-in-firefox/ this external about:config editing guide.

The latter does changes to the about:config. A screenshot of my settings, my config, and my Add-ons is attached.

I do not know what is wrong.

When i try to fullscreen youtube, there is a transparent border on the left and top of the window that will not go away normally. The only temporary fix I found was pressing win+d twice to get rid of it. This seems to be a reoccurring issue as this only happens on firefox and nothing else. Please let me know how to fix this permanently. I have also tried firefox safe mode and that curiously didnt have borders but even when i went out of safe mode and disabled all my extensions and cleared my cache, it didnt work.

I ran a Windows 11 Update and after I opened Firefox, it shows all the tabs that were there but each tab indicates that it's 'Crashed'. The 'Tab Crash Reporter' doesn't restore a single tab nor does it react to 'Restore all Tabs'. It looks like Firefox is NOT connecting to the web.

I'm entering this using the Edge browser.

I have a problem in that bookmarks seem to have completely stopped working for me. I am not an expert in today's IT though a very long time ago I was. I am 81 and have incurable cancer and am confined to my home in a chair. I use FF many hours a day and I have a very structured set of tens of thousands of bookmarks. I use FF on a Windows 7 laptop. I am a contributor to Mozilla. A couple of days ago I noticed that I could not save new bookmarks. I then checked and found that I could not backup my bookmarks as either json or html. I reinstalled FF but these problems are still there. Today I have tried looking at your support information. I looked at your troubleshooting information. I copied raw data to the clipboard and out it into a MS Word file. I put FF into troubleshoot mode. I cleared the startup cache, after which I could add new bookmarks but not save any backups. I then refreshed FF and of course I then lost the first draft of this message . The refresh took quite a long time to complete, but it did. Afterwards I can still not use bookmarks. If I add a subfolder into them, I complete the process, the subfolder is added, but if I then sort the fold so that the subfolder is in place, nothing happens. If I go through the motions of backing them up, nothing happens. I see the following options open to me: 1 Buy a Windows 11 laptop, which I’m not keen on, and run FF on that. I have a windows 10 desktop available in another room, but I have no wish to be on the slippery downslope to eternally paying Microsoft for my computing. 2 Try and revert to an earlier version of Firefox. 3 Move to another browser, though for this and option 1, how to migrate my current set of bookmarks is an outstanding issue. I would greatly appreciate advice on how to get a functioning Firefox version back on my laptop. Yours, Jon

When I am on some webpages, and want to copy and paste a paragraph, of course I highlight it first -- but as of a couple of days ago, the links to pop-up boxes on the page will not highlight. If I go to the same page with Chrome, there is no problem. I can highlight links to other webpages, it is just the ones to pop-up boxes. I have checked and this problem is not machine-specific. I am on a laptop and I checked our desktop and it has the same problem. Perhaps the recent update changed something? I have attached a screenshot of a page from Ancestry.com with the problem -- on the left I have tried to highlight the whole thing, and, as you can see, the links are not highlighted, and if I copy and paste, the links do not work. I'm on Windows 11.

I want to change my Firefox password. Roboform has all my login info. When I opened the change password dialog box I was asked for my current password & Roboform filled it but the dialog box says it's wrong. How do I locate my Firefox password?
