I have 6 websites that I currently cannot sign into using Firefox. Support tells me to use those two crap browsers Chrome and Edge. I end up using Edge because it is embedded in my computer and I cannot delete. I will not install Chrome and have put on Avast Secure Browser and CClean browser. Both are just Chrome with a new gooey. My Father is also having the same trouble. Most of the sites are for Utilities and rewards programs. Avast is also blocked. Are you aware and working on getting this fixed?

This video file cannot be played.(Error Code: 102630). - This is the error i get when i try to play this movie .

Context : - I upgraded to the latest version of firefox and i also connected my dns to nextdns recently. - I use arch linux and firefox on linux. - Previously all the videos on the site were playing nicely but now it has started showing this error. - I have tried many solutions such as :- 1. Clearing cookies, cache,etc and refreshing firefox . 2. Installing media codecs onto my pc using console. 3. Deactivating the dns and disabling hardware acceleration. 4. Restarting my pc but nothing works.

I was wondering if someone has a solution to this.

On my Mac with current OS X update, Firefox is great except for one website: kaiserpermanente.org - it will not respond. Attached is a copy of the Firefox response page when I try to login, or ask about cookies, or anything besides their home page. PS, everything works perfectly on my i-phone.

I am on endeavourOS (linux). Whenever I try to upload images for a profile picture to sites like youtube or X, the image becomes corrupted and doesn't upload correctly. It did this with whatsapp too and I had to use a separate app for it. Other posts said that disabling "privacy.resistFingerprinting" would fix it, but it's already disabled.

Attached below are an example of this bug and the contents of this image when viewed on a text editor.

I have used Evernote web clipper for years and Firefox says I am still connected, but its icon has disappeared from my menu bar and I have been unable to recover it.

After having been "On th' Net", for approx. 6 hours earlier today, with No Issues,......About an hour ago, (And No,.... I didn't recieve a Firefox Update today, to the best of my knowledge, although today has been very chaotic & stressful),....I tried to open a PDF, of which I view on the Firefox Browser, & I got a "Couldn't load XPCOM."

I then "Right Clicked" the Firefox icon & tried to open Firefox as an Administrator, & I got the same message.

I then "Right Clicked" the Firefox icon, & sought the "Refresh Button", But there is none.

The "Installed Browser" for Windows 10, is how I've managed to get to this Forum, of which I do not trust.

My Email is via YAHOO/Frontier, & since I, for the moment, cannot access My email, of which, I'm thinking that to see any replies to this situation that I'm in, that I will have to use YAHOO, so as to access Frontier.

I've seen where situations like this have been occurring, & the most recent that I saw is this:

This can happen in case security software was keeping a handle of some of the files in the Firefox program folder preventing Firefox from replacing all the files. You need to do a clean reinstall and remove the Firefox program folder to ensure that all files are replaced. You may have to disable security software temporarily in case the problem persists.

Will I be able to save All of My Favorites? I have several years of Favorites there & many of them are critically needed. I realize that the Add Ons/Themes/Settings will have to be re-installed/adjusted, but I'm good with that.

Again,... Keeping My Favorites is critical, & "If" they would be deleted, then is there any Possibility of Tech/Engineering accessing My Firefox Folder & saving them?

On my current Dell laptop (Windows 11) I have had a recurring issue with Firefox wherein any time two sounds play at the same time (say, a Youtube video is playing in the background and I have a sound play in a browser game) it makes one of the audio channels cut out for about a second. This issue only happens with Firefox, and I previously fixed this by changing the bitrate in my audio output settings. However, after an update, this issue has returned, and the bitrate settings I was using that were able to fix this issue now doesn't allow me to play audio on Firefox at all. So now I have no way to avoid the strange bug that causes audio to cut out.

I would love some advice- is this on Firefox's end, or my computer's? Is there a driver I could install or something to avoid this bug? What causes it?

Hi. I have various folders, for different businesses.. And when browsing I need to save a certain website for both businesses, like a trade show for example. But a bookmark can only be saved in one folder. I refuse to belive this is a thing in 2024.. Is there a solution? A hack? I know if I click on a different page of a webiste it will save, but some pages only have one page url.. I thought maybe changing the name of the bookmark might work but it doesn't. Any help appreciated.

I noticed after a forced Microsoft Windows 10 update, AND whilst using CC Cleaner to clean out the cache, I was no longer prompted to close Firefox. I never opened Microsoft Edge and was not asked to close it to complete the CC Cleaner process. I don't want Mircosoft Edge and I especially don't like the feeling that Firefox must use Edge to operate. What can I do to clear this up.

I just noticed that when I start writing in the Firefox URL bar there is a blinking straight bar that remains at the start. And if I click of somewhere else and then start writing again, the bar remains blinking at the start of the new text. I also don't have the straight line you get when moving left or right in the text using the arrow keys.

I couldn't capture the bar with a screen shot so I have edited the images to where the bar is when beginning typing, and then after I have clicked of the text bar and then entered it again and typed some more.

I have a IP intercom that only works with Firefox 127.0.2 Now Firefox automatically upgrades to the latest version and I'm unable to prevent this. I'm unable to manage my intercom with the latest version. How do I turn off automatic updates.

On certain websites I am getting scrambled text, mostly in headings and titles, not so much in body text. I have followed several tips from other posts like mine, i.e., installed Open Sans font, but that did not do it. I turned off hardware acceleration, and cleared the cache. The only thing that did work was to start Firefox in troubleshooting mode. I only have two add-ons running, Short URL and Dashlane, I doubt they're responsible for this. Any other ideas?

So, for awhile now when I go to some sites, the screen suddenly starts flashing, then it jitters and turns some light color (like a light green; not blue screen, not black). If I guess where the "X" is to shut down the tab that has the video, I can end this. Often, like on youtube, I find the problem is some ad video that was playing. The rest of the site is ok. But not always.

It happens in lots of places, though. It is not per se a YouTube problem or just a problem at NBCSports. I shell out to MS Edge, and it seems to handle everything fine, so I'm assuming at this point it is a browser issue.

One last point: after this happen the screen display is degraded even after I manage to shut down the offending tab or video. It takes a Log off/log back in or reboot to fix everything. The degradation takes the form of making the screen look a bit like a pointilist painting, although that's an exaggeration.

FF 109.0.1 64 bit Windows 11 NVidia GeFORCE RTX 3060 running studio driver 526.98 (I have switched periodically from / to their gaming driver, which doesn't seem to matter)

Is there any way I can completely disable horizontal scrolling? I'm using a laptop with a trackpoint (lenovo x230, Windows 10) and it's not terribly accurate, which means scrolling whilst a youtube video is going often makes it track backwards or forwards, and another website I use uses a horizontal click to send me to the next page, which sucks. I would prefer to just be able to disable it entirely. Thanks!

I swear to god I used to have it disabled, just need to work out how again.
