just upgraded to 74-now homepage won't load

On update to 74.0 several sites do not work - yahoo.com, weather,com, harborfreight.com and others. Most work OK. dom.storage.next_gen is false

Two computers updated to 74.0 (64 bit) today. Prior to the update no problems. After the update several sites are ignored on both machines. No errors, warnings, etc. It is as if you never entered the url. Tried about 50 sites, found 4 that don't work (ones I use regularly). Found a thread about 70.1 that sounded similar which suggested setting dom.storage.next_gen to false. Checked and it was already false. Tried safe mode - no difference.

Why won't Gmail & Twitter not open since "upgrading" to new version this morning.

Auto-update 74.0 (I declined Facebook Container) but now Twitter, Wordpress.com and Gmail pages won't load in FF, even using links I always use from the Toolbar
Very annoyed that I can't access the above sites that I use all the time to tweet, blog and email. Having to use Chrome.

If I type in the URL for Twitter or Gmail and press enter, the address bar simply goes back to whatever was in there before. This is whether I do it in a tab or a new page. BBC News is fine. Facebook is fine. Gmail and Twitter were pinned as tabs before the update. Other tabs are broken in the same way, e.g. Google Photos, but Google Calendar and Google Drive tabs are fine. Please help!

Firefox opens blank windows and pages after v74.0 update installation(from 72.0.2) in Win 7 Pro 64 bit. Refresh, re-install, safe mode, Win 7 compatibility uncheck do not fix (latter leads to perpetual Programme change prompts). Have had to restore to 72.0.2.

After updating to 74.0 Gmail will only load in private mode.

Since I opened Firefox today after the update to 74.0, Gmail won't load unless I am in private mode. YouTube is fine, as are the other Google apps. I have cleared the recent history and cache but that didn't work. Before I clear everything and start all over again, I wanted to see if anyone else had any suggestions for me. Thanks!!
