I am getting a stack of these errors preventing me from browsing to secure websites which includes google.com. Luckily my Chrome Browser and Edge Browser work fine. This is just another nail in the coffin for me to close the door on this browser which is just getting more and more unreliable.

For now, I have migrated to Chrome to allow me to go about my business of without Firefox telling me Google.com and many other secure sites are unsafe to browse!

Please bring back the override and accept the risk. I would rather have a warning and transfer risk to me rather than have a draconian rule telling me to use a different browser to resolve the issue. For now, you have forced my choice.

I cannot believe I am the only User to experience this issue. I do not want to delete all my cookies etc as I want to be selective in what I delete but again, this option has been taken away from me as well.

Looking forward to a solution.

Thanks.

i get "your connection is not private" error on most web browsers like opera, chrome, edge. Some websites are still accessible but others are not.

In Google Chrome and Opera show as: "Your connection is not private" Attackers might be trying to steal your information from domain.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards).

In Mozilla Firefox show as: "Your connection is not secure"

The owner of domain.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.

In Microsoft Edge show as: "Your connection isn’t private" Attackers might be trying to steal your information from domain.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards).

How to fix this errors on opera, chrome, edge, firefox browser? How to fix "Your connection is not secure" error in firefox browser?

I have 2-Step verification on Gmail. When I go to log in I get this: Insert your security Key into the USB. I cancel out of it and get this: Your phone can’t locate your device. Move your phone closer to the device where you’re signing in, and then try again. I "Try another way" and I try to get a "one-time security code" and it forwards me to a website where the cycle begins again. If I try "Auto-recovery" it sends me to google. I can access Gmail on the same machine via Chrome, but would rather not. I can also get it on Firefox on my phone.

I did recently turn on two-step and it asked if I wanted a key, and I thought it might mean Google Authentication, I think it meant a USB key.

Any thoughts? I rather not give up Firefox.

Good day. I've used Mozilla Firefox as my browser for as long as I can remember. I am now 70 years old and my best time of the evening is when I watch my Netflix series or a movie. Since 2 nights ago, however, Firefox is blocking access on both my laptops with the message "Did not Connect: Potential Security Risk" and it doesn't allow me to bypass this. It is very upsetting and I cannot understand why Netflix would suddenly have become a security risk. My son--in-law in the UK talked me through how to load another browser, which I did, and was then able to watch Netflix. The other browser didn't block it! So why does yours. I quite frankly would prefer to continue to keep Firefox as my default browser, but it seems silly to have to use a second browser just to watch Netflix? Your assistance in sorting out this problem would be very much appreciated. Thank you Sue Taylor (Ms)

Getting error SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN on all my sites that are signed with a SSL Cert from my internal CA since updating past version 99

This appears to be a bug starting after Firefox version 99 on Windows because after i upgraded to Firefox version 100 i started getting this on all my SSL Certs from my CA and they worked fine prior to the update. Can anyone confirm if something changed after version 100 that is causing this?

Thank you.

Hi - I work from home and for the past few years have used Firefox as my preferred browser, with bookmarks and passwords all saved to my account.

My employer uses "Duo" authentication to sign into applications.

This used to work with Firefox but not it has stopped working. I get prompted to sign in but my details are recognised and it just keeps asking me to sign in. When I neter them the browser keeps balnking them out.

This works on Chrome so I know it must be something to do with Firefox.

I really don't want to change browsers but if this ca't be resolved I'll have to stop using Firefox and delete it.

Yahoo / AT&T Email - why does Firefox appear to send too many log-in attempts to AT&T Yahoo email? This happens on my Windows 10 computer, my wife's computer and also on two computers belonging to relatives in a different state. Email works OK for a few days and then all the sudden when we try to log in, AT&T comes back and tells you you're either locked out (again) or you (again) have to change your password because of too many log-in try's. This is only on PC's running Firefox. Cell phones and iPad's all work great and never have the email log-in issue, which leads me to believe it's a Firefox problem.

I'm moving from Brave to Firefox Developer, and trying to import all data from Brave... especially passwords.

When I import from Safari, Chrome, MS Edge I get a Mac dialogue box asking for my Mac password, and then all the data is imported correctly.

When I try the same with Brave, there is no Mac dialogue box, and the import process just says it was successful - but no passwords are imported at all.

I didn't find any settings in Brave saying that I had to allow password export or anything like that.

Is this a bug? and is there a workaround? (because I really don't want to have to input all those passwords for so many sites since moving to Brave!)

I don't have an organization. Have I been hacked or why is this suddenly on my settings? I am not very tech literate, an older person so can't do very complex things. I don't want anyone but me managing my settings. I am the only one using my computer. I am on Windows 7 Home premium.

I've been having trouble with the Primary Password on Firefox for years. Sometimes it didn't ask me for it at all, sometimes randomly after half an hour and now since a year I've been having to type it in three times in total, before Firefox let's me do my thing. What's really weird: The second time the pop-up comes up there are already some characters in the password field and I have to delete them to start typing my Primary Password anew. But lately it always takes three times of typing in the password, until the pop up doesn't come up again. That's stealing a lot of my time and I have no idea what's the reason or what's causing it.

Can anybody help out?

The only thing stopping me from switching to FireFox is this issue, whenever I try to enable 2-factor-auth I keep getting a message saying "Incorrect two-step authentication code".

I tried restarting my PC, restarting my phone, used 3 different auth apps, restarted my router, used a VPN, cleared cache and cookies, tried enabling it from a different browser, tried using a different phone, tried enabling it on a different account, and nothing fixed the issue, I keep getting the same error message "Incorrect two-step authentication code"

at this point I'm 99% sure it's a server sided issue.

help me, this is taking way too long to just activate 2-factor-authentication :(

The control page of my locally connected printer at 192.168.1.5 is being blocked as a "dangerous" site because it doesn't have a valid certificate as a web site. It's literally RIGHT NEXT TO MY COMPUTER! No path to the public internet is involved! How can I make this an exception (i.e. a "trusted site") to the certificate error blocking routine? I don't want to drop certificate checking for OUTSIDE web pages, just the one that controls my printer (the same IP address is accessible for printing and scanning, but not for editing my printer's options).

The frame for the printer's home page displays but with no data, and no data is displayed when anything is clicked. I've tried to add a screen shot but it doesn't upload.

I have been using MOZILLA / Netscape/ Firefox Since 1996/7. Periodically I have a problem . LIKE RIGHT NOW I have to use Chrome to contact you because your latest version is seriously corrupted and under attack from ; "attachappstreams.best You already know that because you've got a web page warning us of it. But you don't have a way to fix it. No matter how many times I delete it. Reboot my Windows 7 desktop. Or open and close the latest version of Firefox. That damn phony update keeps popping up with bells and blue screens and I can't use your browser until YOU GUYS figure out how you screwed up and gave them access. ADD ons and Ad blockers are equally dangerous and I limit them to only 2 for the past 5 years. Get a handle on the is , guys/gals . Or sadly, because I really don't like Chrome. But what choice do I have. FIX IT. IT Quickly. Or you're going to lose serious market share. Just like you did to Internet Explorer 20 years ago.

There is no shortage of privacy protection plugins, which I consider to be a good thing However, Firefox also has tracking protection on board itself. This leaves me wondering if and how much overlap there is between these privacy protection plugins and Firefox tracking protection and if having both or multiple of these enabled, isn't simply overkill?

To illustrate, I have tracking protection set to strict. In addition, I use EFF Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin, NoScript and DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials.

If I have Firefox tracking protection set to strict, do I still need Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin and DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials? These seem to cover the same functionality but one may be better than the other. How do I know which to choose? (NoScript is more a security feature, so that's another matter).
