For some reason, today, every time I go on Facebook, Firefox crashed and I'm unable to do anything. I get a multicoloured loading wheel (I'm running OSX Lion) and must force-quit. Any ideas?

I closed puter as normal last night. woke this morning and firefox showed safemode. I also just read about the java hack scare ( http://botielus.com/javabad.htm ). So just wondering if something to do with that? note: I did go to my tools/add-ons/directed to your site and dissabled java

I will be moving to a new Windows OS (WIndows 7SP1 64-Bit), and I want to do a clean install. How can I back up EVERYTHING, including bookmarks, settings, apps, themes, etc.. ? So when I do the clean install, I won't have to worry about anything. Do I have to do each one individually, or can I do a complete backup? So when I go to install Firefox on the new OS, everything will be just like I had it before.

Secondly, can I move my Firefox to a USB flash stick, and make it mobile? I would appreciate all and any help. Thank You.

i've tried different pdfs. They all seem to behave same. It's as if there are 2 copies, one overlayed over the other. I tried to copy and paste, but didn't work. could take a snapshot if necessary. thanks

I implemented Firefox 15 with Java 1.6.0.35-b10 to be used with a particular Vendor's website. The site has no internet except for accessing this vendor's website. Several weeks ago Firefox 15 updated itself to Firefox 18 and blocklisted Java 6. I was able to unblock it, but now each time the users log into the vendor's website, Firefox prompts the user to activate Java 6. My users are nagging me to turn this activate screen off but i cannot figure out how to permanently activate Java 6 on each of these machines. The vendor is not willing to upgrade to Java 7. I have tested Java 7 with the vendor's site and of course it doesn't load. Consequently, I cannot get this machine to roll back to Java 6. Once they activate Java 6 they can use the website. I could switch back to IE8 and use Java 6 with no problem, except that IE8 has a flaw in it. I have read that I cannot install IE9 on Windows XP pro, so I am stuck with Firefox. Windows XP Pro SP3, Firefox 18, and Java 6.

I am trying to d/l but everytime it fails to complete an stuck at 99% or even at much little distance.Tried several times but with same result ,tried to d/l different file but with same result.

When I tried to open a page through GOOGLE, Mozilla redirected me to "http://www.ihavenet.com/?search=soccer&n=1358331256" this page. After trying in three successive times it redirected me to my desired page. But before that on a single click it can't possible for me to go to my desired page. My Mozilla Version : Mozilla 19 Beta 1.

Even on pages like the Google homepage, there are ads appearing, with the tag 'ads not from this site'. My scans with Malwarebytes and the other usuals also do not help. There are no problems at all with Chrome or IE.

Form the date of installing Firefox 19 (1/12/13) I have not been able to log in to or communicate in any way with mail.com. I can find no reason for this other than the coincidental installation of 19. Can you offer any suggestions?

I tried to order an item on Amazon.com but the button to add the item to the shopping cart did not appear. I then used the Chrome browser and it worked fine.

I am attempting to switch back to Firefox after using Chrome for some time, but I have a lot of pinned tabs, and I really don't want to have to copy them across manually.

I use Mozbackup to synchronise Firefox from my desktop to my laptop. My laptop's Firefox would not start and displayed a crash reporting dialog.

I completely uninstalled and made a fresh, new install with Beta 19.0.2. I then restored my Mozbackup from my desktop, item by item. When the "Certificates" item was restored, Firefox would not start and display the crash repoting dialog. So now I know that the certificates item is the culprit.

Why does this allow Firefox to start on my desktop but refuses to do so on my laptop?

Pdf forms in Adobe Reader are looking different than they used to. I also keep getting a message at the top which says "This pdf document might not be displayed correctly." But the biggest problem in documents that I was able to fill in information online previously are not working. In particular the tax form 941 which I need to send in!!! Help!

When Firefox has many tabs opened (more than 10), sometimes I can't swith between tabs using mouse, only Alt + Tab works.

Maybe the problem is because one of the opened pages contais flash advertisement. Please fix it

I am using Firefox 19 google calendar worked on firday but this is monday and now it will nor function. it will not allow me to create new or edit old appointments in my google calendar while using firefox. but if i open the same calendar in chrome it works fine. but i wish to to firefox can you tell me what chould be worng.I looked at the add ons and I don't think i have any enabled at all.

Hi, I can not access ebay.de ; bbc.co.uk , cnn.com and so on. But if I try signin.ebay.de then the site opens and I can login. But I can not bid, open anything I watch and so on. When I try to open one of the mentioned sites the result is. Server is down, disconnected, or absolutely nothing. Help!!. This problem started when I upgraded from 18.0 to 18.01. I hoped it would dissapear with 19 beta but no it didn`t. Normally when you click a link you will see the link down inthe left corner while Firefox opens up the new site - but nothing. I`ve tried to put the adr. into the "bar" directly, but no same result. I`m running Firefox 18.0 at my portable PC and there are no problems. I`m using Windows 7 Home edition. One more thing normally there has been no problem with upgrading but this time I had to download the whole Firefox (booth the 18.01 and 19.0beta versions) and run them as admin to be able to upgrade. HELP!!!

by touching a tab with the mouse pointer it moved from the tab into a new firefox window.The existing tab has gone.So I need to reload it in the original firefox alongside my other tabs. To the best of my knowledge I have not downloaded any new addon. Using firefox 19
