Hi,

I just installed Firefox on my Mac and log in on the account. On new windows device it was always downloading all the addons and importing settings etc.

On Mac I just logged in and nothing happend. Like no any import was made. No any add-on was installed automatically.

Do I have to install everything manually?

Previously FF used only on Windows

I wrote this on 13 June 2022: ...I am signed into a Firefox account. I have used this account on at least three different computers. I have downloaded the application anew at least a dozen times.

Firefox randomly, from where I sit, opens things in French rather than English. How can I keep it in English unless otherwise specified (I occasionally want German or Japanese)?

How can I get all the info out of my account and try to start another that speaks English reliably?

One of the main reasons I use Firefox is the ability to enter the address bar and press "Tab" to go to the next option instead of pressing the down arrow like in some other browsers. The problem I'm encountering is when I want to get to something further down the list, it's all of the sudden tabbing to this little 3 dot menu that has "Remove from history" and "Learn More".

I use this feature a lot to visit past pages for researching, so I'm wondering is this 3 dot menu new? Is there a way to disable it? I've attached a screenshot to hopefully more clearly describe what I'm talking about.

I receive the following message when trying to go to Fold3 website:

An error occurred during a connection to www.fold3.com.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

What do I do to correct?

(may have the wrong 'topic' from drop-down list) MacOS Ventura 13.4 I've tried this with Safari, Chrome and now Opera - FireFox is the only one that gets an error: "We’re sorry. Due to technical issues we are unable to process your request at this time. Please try again later."

This happens when on the TD bank site when I try to get to my "Statements & Documents" session. I've contacted TD and they won't provide what is going on to cause the above error to be generated, and because other browsers aren't having a problem it's now a Firefox issue.

I'm not sure how to proceed since I can't get further details from TD bank and don't see what needs to change to allow Firefox to work.

Any suggestions as to what setting or debugging I can try appreciated.

I'm having trouble bookmarking individual item page at Lowes.com. Hoping someone can help me with this problem. I "used" to be able to save an individual item page I want research later from Lowe's in my Bookmarks. When I go to access it later I get this message:

Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.lowes.com/pd/No-Dig-Actual-3-37-ft-x-4-12-ft-Grand-Empire-Powder-coated-Steel-Pressed-Point-Decorative-Metal-Fence-Panel/3028522" on this server. Reference #18.cc69dc17.1685628277.1a0b49de.

However I can save the whole page showing “all” the items with no problems. This happens on both Macs, 2 different OS. I have deleted cookies, cache, history continually and nothing works. It happens in Safe Mode as well, I even refreshed FireFox and it still happens. It happens in Safari also.

So I ask myself why "now" is this happening when it never did before? Is there a setting I need to look at? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

Every time I try to login to a different page my firefox crashes.

I also did get the attached message, wasn't forsure if this was apart of the issue?

I have tried to dump the preferences, clear cache, restart, clear history.

I am using Firefox Developer Edition in a work environment that only saves directories between weekly restarts by explicitly managed rules. As a result of some missing folders from my weekly restarts, I need to sign in to my Firefox account and enable sync each week. Currently my machine retains the %APPDATA%/Mozilla and %LOCALAPPDATA%/Mozilla directories + children.

What other directories are needed by Firefox Developer Edition in Windows to retain the user profile/syncing, et. al.?

Hello. I run Firefox as my main laptop (Mac) browser. I have added Zotero to manage my writing reference citation library, and have downloaded the current Zotero Connector for Firefox. I should be able to add references from online, by using the Zotero save icon that should appear on my Firefox toolbar. But this icon is nowhere to be seen and I cannot see how to make it appear. The whole advantage of Zotero for me as a writing academic is pinned to this function, so I am anxious to get it working. How can I get the Zotero save icon in its proper place on my Firefox toolbar, just to the right of the search window? Many thanks

I have passwords stored in Dashlane. 1. Would i be anymore secure if i followed your prompts and disabled Dashlane in order to use Firefox relay; 2. If i disabled Dahlane to use Relay would i loose all the passwords saved in Dashlane?

do you know any way to set a policy in the policy.json file to remove the "Import bookmarks" and "Getting Started" buttons that appear in the Bookmarks toolbar?

One of my folders is lost. I know the bookmarks are in bookmarks as I can search on one or more. However, I can to know what folder they/it is in. Example: folder FOOD is lost, but I can search on hamburger and it shows up. etc. A one by one search takes a lot of time. I would like for the folder to show up in what other folder it is lost in.

If I recall correctly, there was a Firefox update several weeks ago. Since that time, there have been at least three occasions where a URL I manually enter initially takes me to the intended site, but is interrupted immediately by a message, such as "Checking Browser." This quickly disappears and I notice the browser begins accessing other pages in rapid succession, until I closed the window (in the attached screenshot, the browser history is in reverse chronological order). Never experienced anything like that in my 28 years on the web. What might be going on? Thanks.
