我有两台设备，Mac Studio是（Apple M2 Maxsequoia15.4.1） 、iMac （Intel corei5 sequoia15.3.2）。 Mac Studio一直无法同步最新数据，重置密码后，iMac使用新密码可登录，iPhone可登录，Mac Studio无法登陆显示密码错误（用最早设置的密码反而可以登录）； 登录后书签无法同步，连账号头像都是不一样的..... 书签不同步！ 以及这个论坛也特别难用。

You used to be able to right-click a device in the sync tabs sidebar, and choose 'open all in tabs', but since the last update this has gone. So where's that option now? Thanks

I have Firefox syncing to about 6 different systems (Windows, Mac, iOS) and have run into a situation where Firefox is wiping years of my synced data when I quit and restart Firefox. I sync all of items that can be synced and this has served me well for many years. What happened:

1. I logged on the admin account of a Mac where I previously logged in before and used Firefox with sync enabled. The machine had the initial Firefox short cuts: AP, Amazon, etc.
2. I enabled sync and did a 2FA but the my normal Firefox home page did not appear. So pressed the Sync now button to no effect.
3. When Firefox started, I did see the usual message that "It looks like you haven't started Firefox in a while. Would you like to refresh Firefox." I think that I closed that message but I could have accidentally refreshed Firefox for that account on that system.
4. I gave up and did what I needed to, closed Firefox, and logged out.
5. That evening when I was using Firefox on a Windows machine I could see that the sync information reduced to almost nothing from before the last day. The day I saw the saw the same and started to worry.
6. However, the Firefox on my main two Macs still had all the data. As a test, I deliberately closed Firefox on one of those two Macs. When I restarted, the synced data was wiped. This leads me to believe that somehow Mozilla's servers are holding the data based for the almost empty content of Firefox that I had on the administrative account that I synced.

So in other words rather than importing my data from Firefox when I connected sync, sync exported the settings of the Firefox account I was using in the admin account. I am writing this from my other main Mac which still has full information and I would like to force the synced information on this Mac to override or at least merge with what is on the Mozilla servers. Can this be done? I am 99% sure that if I close Firefox on this machine all my settings will be wiped. For now a I believe that I still have the correct sync data on at least this Mac, my iPhone, and few other Windows and Linux machines. I am in particular worried about losing the hundreds of passwords that I have saved. I forgot to check if the passwords were overwritten when I restarted the first Mac but I'll bet they were.

My HDD crashed and replaced with a new SSD. I would like to transfer my saved passwords to my new SSD. I logged in to my Firefox account and tried to sync the data, but no results. Please guide me if I'm doing it wrong.

My Sync is all fouled up and I don't have a valid recovery code: 1) How do I erase all traces of Sync from my laptop, my Android phone and my Android tablet? 2) Exactly how do I set up Sync again? 3) How do I generate a new recovery code?

Please explain how to ACTUALLY sync my collections & bookmarks from Firefox on my Android Device with Firefox in a browser. I am signed in to my Mozilla/Firefox account, and have Firefox open on my android Phone. When I click on Sync on the phone, It says go to go to some address similar to firefox.com/Pair - but when I typed this exact address NOTHING happens ( I can't find it now, that page won't come up anymore.) I only get sent to the sync page of the web browser - When I click on add a device - NOTHING happens again. after 7-8 attempts, I FINALLY allegedly set up Sync using my email and password - but now I can't tell if anything is happening!?!

How will I know if things are synchronized? How will I access these bookmarks & history? Where do I look for it when in the Windows browser? NOTHING about this is evident or makes any sense. Nothing works as your instructions say it should. So here's my requests:

• • It would be REALLY helpful if someone would actually write out a description of what it Means to sync your FIrefox tabs and bookmarks across browsers - what is actually synced, and how can we access it? **

And my number one Question - **I have a LOT of bookmarks in "Collections" in Firefox on my Android phone. Can these 'Collections' be synced to the online desktop browser?** That is the main reason I want to sync in the first place - but I don't see Collections as an option anywhere in the Windows Firefox browser

I do not own a cell phone. I was asked for it in order to Sync to FF. Please offer an alternative to owning a cell phone. I (and wife) currently use my grown daughters to access Google.

PS The wife whole gmail account was wiped out because she forgot her google password. Had to open a new emaii account.

My password is accepted to get into Firefox but not accepted to sync, I guess it is. It used to do so for years but now will not after the last update. Doing what the threads already suggested does not work in part because my Firefox does not even have the same places to activate what the suggestions offer.

I'm doing a clean up and restoration of my current windows. Its great that now firefox has sync which makes transferring easier. Base on the article https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/view-synced-tabs-other-devices

"Additionally, you can use the Firefox Sidebar to access synced tabs. While viewing synced tabs in Sidebar, right clicking on device name allows you to open all tabs from a device at once. "

I've tried and search everywhere but I don't see this option at all. There is no option even after right clicking.

At the same time, i'm wondering if sync is better than copying the entire profile over

'I have FF installed on a macmini, I want to sync that installation with my other machines, win 11, linux. IN trying to do that, I got a promotional screen for "youtube enhancer", and then the list of all the machines I am supposedly running FF on right now ( 7 or so ), which is not correct, I am only running it on one win11 machine at the moment.

I had to reset my computer. Then when tried to sync my mozilla data. Maybe because I had to change my password due it was in my computer's passwords key (I didn't memorize it, my bad). I'm worry because I'm a ebay's seller and all the bookmarks are so important for my store due there are info of my items future sales. So I'm so sad and desperate. I'll GREATLY appreciate your help, please. Thank you so much for time.
