Hello, PG&E just updated their webpage and it doesn't allow me to sign in. It informs me that Fire Fox isn't a compatible browser, all other websites are fine. It suggests Chrome as the preferred browser. We pay our utilities through their site and we enjoy Fire Fox.Can anyone help resolve this issue? Thanks

I am getting messages that I am blocking ads for many of my internet requests. I had never received these before but all of a sudden I started to get them. I have tried a number of things but nothing works.

I am running Windows 11 and do not have any Ad blockers.

Google is my default search engine in the address bar on firefox. When I search in the address bar, it just resets to the page that I am currently on and doesn't load the search. It does the same if I try typing 'google.com' or 'google.ca' but gmail.com seems to work fine.

If I type in a full website address for other sites (reddit, wikipedia, duckduckgo, etc) it works fine.

I deleted firefox all together and downloaded it fresh and reset to default settings. Right now I only have one extension and it's ublock origins. I've disabled ublock origins to see if that would help, and I'm still having problems.

The problem is inconsistent where sometimes if I type google.com it will take me there and other times even that won't work. Sometimes if I try changing the default search engine in settings and then switching it back to google, it will fix it for a few searches, but then I go back to having issues.

It just sort of keeps circling back to the same problem even if I can get it to work briefly. Re-opening firefox in safe mode clears the problem while it's in safe mode, but even with all extensions disabled, the problem keeps coming back when I'm not in safe mode.

Any ideas or fixes?

Hi there, I'm looking for help with Firefox not loading pages "Hmm. We're having trouble finding that site." 128.0.2 running on Mac os Sonoma 14.5 Mac Studio M1 Max chip

Here's what I've tried so far: -- network connection stable, other browsers work fine. -- disabled plug ins and extensions -- completely cleared cookies, cache, and history -- opened in safe mode (hold down option key and launch app) and refreshed Firefox -- opened in safe mode as above and entered troubleshoot mode

Is there anything else you can think of to try? I'm not able to find any new suggestions yet on the knowledge base here.

I just started getting this error on 13 August 2024. “XULRunner Error: Platform version ‘129.0.1’ is not compatible [etc.]”. Is there a solution? I can't even get in to see what version of FF I have.

I don't want to lose all my bookmarks if I reinstall Firefox. And I noticed in past similar problems, the prolem may persist with a newly loaded Firefox.

Firefox Version 129.0.1 64 bit Windows 11. When I am in a New Tab, and I do a search (Google is my search engine) the results do not display. I type in search words, I hit Enter, and the screen does a very quick blip, and then nothing. This is very frustrating. I have wasted too much time trying to figure it out. It does not do it all the time, but most of the time. This started with the latest Firefox update. Is this a Settings issue?

I got increasingly frustrated that google.com search page gets increasingly unresponsive under Firefox, and performing searches from the address bar does not do a thing. Does not respond. The page remains blank. Sometimes it remembers to respond, but most often, it does not. I wanted to search something in the search bar. No response after hitting Enter, even though, I can open any bookmarks or webpages other than google.com. If I type google.com in the address bar and hit enter, it reverts to the previous page. Such as, imagine that I was at www.mozilla.org, and in the address bar, I type google.com. I hit enter, and it just ignores it, and reverts to mozilla.org. But if I type microsoft.com, it goes to open microsoft.com in an instance. My Firefox constantly update itself and before, I always deleted the cache file, now I don't even let caching pages, still, it is like this. I am not sure what is going on. Hi, I have a problem with Youtube playback on my machine. Sometimes videos are playing and skipping few seconds, sometimes stopping/hanging and using a lot of CPU (I can hear CPU fan ramping up). It mostly happens when I play videos at 1080p and up. Sometimes video can start playing, then skip few seconds, play few more seconds and hang, sometimes after refresh it works fine, another time it works for like a minute and then again hangs/skips. I had this problem on FF 89, I've updated to 11x, still persisted, now I have FF 125.0.3 (64 bit). Things that i've tried: - enabling/disabling hardware acceleration in FF - enabling/disabling gpu hardware acceleration in Windows - changing some settings in about:config (fe. media.wmf.zero-copy-nv12-texture to false and gfx.direct3d11.reuse-decoder-device to false, and few more) - disabling and deleting addons

PC specs: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, Asus Tuf X570, GeForce RTX 3070 (latest drivers), Windows 10 22H2

When I enter "about.config" in the address bar, it searches it instead and I can't get to the about.config page. I thought maybe it was the search extension I was using but when I changed it, the problem persisted. Is there a way to fix this or at least a way to get to the page?

What I see: Misrendering of UI elements and some elements of webpages. Rectangular areas of all white with white on white text e.g. tab labels, settings page, etc.

What I tried. Uninstalling FF Reinstall FF Refresh settings

None of these fixed the problem for me.

I have the latest FireFox Nightly, and i'm using a theme from firefox's themes store, and it has all tabs "marked" for some reason, which is really annoying and I can't really identify on which tab i'm currently at

I'm pretty sure it wasn't like that before
