Firefox crashes 43.0.x

Starting with version 43.0.0 Firefox started to crash on my machine. With 43.0.0 it happend a few times, but with 43.0.1 it crashes just after startup. I try to send a crash report every time it happens but it says there was a problem sending it. In the submit log it says "Crash report submission failure: Could not establish connection to the server". Because of this I do not have a directory of sumitted crash reports, only one with pending reports.
I have tried reinstalling Firefox twice, reset Firefox so no plugins or addons are installed but it still crashes shortly after startup. Even when it is open long enough for me to exit Firefox it crashes on exit.
I can include a few report ids but as they have not been sent I don't know how much good they will be: ea4782b8-f222-46f3-95a3-620a8b783844, 4cf5165b-3ad4-49c1-8615-6c2665799791, 7ac58778-bc59-44c3-8579-ba4be962a5a8. I do have the .dmp and .extra files for these crashes.
I am running Windows XP.

every website i visited before i removed my browsing history is being suggested to me by this so called "awesome" bar,

hey dev team, you do understand that when people want to delete their history the main reason is not to visit some of the old websites!

I continue to get a page full of non stop pop ups despite blocking sites,& setting the Pop Up Blocker to BLOCK. I get ads that overlap, and open multiple tabs with a touch on ANY Part of the page. Ie; I search in google, find a website click on it, and six windows or total shit advertising, dating sex sites, and offers for web security, some that simply seem to download themselves, in addition, the one or two sites I don't get pop ups on i get continuous notifications as in with every click, from norton that they have blocked attempted "intrusion" WTF is going on. I have never had this much shit crap to deal with and don't plan to much longer, Im ready to take this thing back and say fuck it. Pardon my tone, but this is bull shit, any suggestions. Of course I find it absolutely wrong that you can't actually get help from anyone at Firefox, like Sprint, and other Tech companies, they push the complaints and user issues to other customers. After updating to firefox43.1 this morning (19th December) firefox is in constant crash mode. I've uninstalled and re-installed 3 or 4 times still to no avail. When i click to open it, a minimised screen appears with two 'new tab' buttons at the top and the firefox start page tab (3rd in from the left).
This hangs there for a few moments and then I get the firefox has crashed and has had to close message. This has now happened at least a dozen times. It was working perfectly until this latest update and I've had to download Google Chrome just to get online.... and it sucks. I really want to get back onto Firefox.... please help. I've tried to attach images/screen-grabs and the error file but they won't load up.

On the blue toolbar at the top of the facebook page I have lost all of the symbols.
This happened after the last update to Mozilla that happened on December 19th. Also have lost icons from "groups" on the left of the screen.
