I have just applied a firefox update, and I notice that I can no longer touch scroll the bookmarks dropdown menu with one finger, only with two. The single finger is set to select. Is there any way to change this and return to one finger scrolling of the dropdown menuu ? Thanks in Advance.

I uninstalled McAfee on my new Windows 11 computer but am getting a popup screen on the desktop for McAfee webadvisor. There are no McAfee apps on the computer so I assume there must be a place in Mozilla that has this alert turned on. How do I get rid of it?

I don't want to see the word 'userchrome.css' or 'addon' at all in any of the answers that might be provided.

The question is: when will it be finally possible to have an option in the settings so the user can choose to have the tabs bar BELOW the bookmarks bar. After so many years and so many requests from so many people, how is it possible we have never been heard ?

How to officially raise a complaint / request to the teams taking this kind of decisions ?

Since updating ro Firefox 109 there is a new addon button that cant be moved. I dont care that the button is in the interface, I just need to move it out of the way. A big part of Firefox appeal is being able to customize it, adding buttons that arent movable is just ridiculous.

I will be to-the-point: Firefox 109.0 has forced the "extensions" icon (a puzzle piece) on my Bookmarks toolbar.

(1) I do not wish for it to appear there (2) I am not given the possibility to remove it from the "Customise toolbar" screen

Since changing to a new monitor and running at 1440p, the menus and url bar are in tiny mouse print. The searching I've done so far seems to point to an update removing user control to change the font size on those items. I've adjusted settings and the pages are fine, but the two things I mentioned are almost unreadable. How can I increase the font size there?

Linux Firefox updates frequently, and whenever it does the preferred Search Engine is changed back to google. How do I prevent that happening? Even better, how do I remove google permanently from the list of possible search engines?

disable pop=up sign-in with google prompt LAPTOP WINDOWS 11 FIREFOX 105.0.3 64-BIT 1. Over the last few days I have been getting a sign in with Google prompt on most websites I visit. Please refer to the photos. This looks identical to the Google generated promt, however in my Google account settings I have this option turned off. Is this a Google bug or a Firefox thing? With all the other annoying popups these days, this is just another irritation frustration to view a website.

Dashlane extension is blank - couldn't see anything in the window when I clicked on the Dashlane icon but now even the window doesn't open. What's going on?

I've used Dashlane for years without problem. I'm on Firefox 105.0.1 and OS Monterey 12.4

I have Adblocker Ultimate as an add-on. But I can't seem to put it in my toolbar. I have searched the internet to resolve this problem and nothing worked. It is listed in my Add-ons manager but I can't get it to show up in any bookmarks or the toolbar. It does work but I can't find it anywhere.

Okay, Mozilla Firefox seems to be very safe. BUT then you took away so much that now I have to have extensions to do what I want. But every time I go to look at an extension, I see a warning that Firefox does not monitor it for safety or security. So basic - Firefox is no longer safe and I cannot have a good experience unless I take a risk? Why can't Firefox have its own extensions?? How can I determine that an extension is safe before it is too late?

what the hell is wrong with firefox windows? /all my extensions are not showing in my toolbar. No themes are showing correctly. Just more problems to work around, as if I have the time, to go along with the "improvements" for my life?

When I download an image in Firefox and open it from the downloads folder it will always open in Pixelmator not Pixelmator Pro.

If I double click on an image file elsewhere they correctly open in Pro, but in Finder, the icons are for Pixelmator not Pixelmator Pro. This can be hidden if I turn on finder icon previews, but selecting Get Info always has the Pixelmator icon not the Pixelmator Pro one.

Im not sure if this is a macOS problem, a firefox issue or a Pixelmator bug but it seems to be related to the way the files are registered.

Things I have tried:

Changing file associations in firefox. Rebooting Changing the open-with properties in finder: Open all with Pixelmator Pro Reset the Local & User domains with lsregister lsregister -kill -r -domain local -domain user -domain system -v

When I put something in the search box it comes back with a Google Search 'hit' page and it always has enormous text, an enormous font. I can't get rid of it. It started after one day I couldn't read a tiny text on a page so i googled for help and got some keystrokes for increasing font size. i forget what they were but they worked fine. But now I can't get rid of it. On all other pages, yes, no problem. I found keypresses that are supposed to get rid of large font: ctrl-z, ctrl-y, different ones different places say, I"ve tried them all, but can't get rid of the big font on the first page of a google hit. I am using firefox of course. On a linux mint machine.
