I appreciate the brand new cookie management/privacy measures with the cookie jars and all, but the immediate effect has been to make it impossible to reach through ordinary clicks or browsing. I can get to it through private window browsing, but I can't reach it through clicks on emails from ResearchGate. This site is an important part of my professional life. Please work it out with them.

Since a few weeks, I can not drag image from and hence not drop images out of firefox anymore. I used to be able to drag and drop any image from any website into any other app before. Now, I have to right-click and save the image to the file system and from there in a second step decide what to do with it. This is very inconvenient and annoying.

Is this a bug? Is there a new setting where I have to enable this functionality again? Or is it simply a regression of firefox?

Hello Firefox is my default browser Now I have undesirable ads in the Promotions tab. Of course they disappear if I delete the Promotions tab, but the Promotions tab is very convenient. I can't mark them as spam. I don't have this problem at all with Chrome. Please tell me what to do. Sincerely

I am in the pharmaceutical industry and using ectd program, which is producing an xml backbone (directories) containing pharmaceutical information (pdfs). Only internet explorer can show this. Chrome has recently lost this ability. Firefox shows only some headings, like reading the index.xml only and not detecting the other directories. Is there an option/addon so I can view the contents correctly? I cannot attach the export of the ectd program (index.html & backbone/directories) so you can see to what I refer to, only the pics.

Sorry to disturb but its been two days and I am unable to access my google accounts (work and private) through firefox in anyway. I have done all the basic fixes I can think of but with no success. I have deleted caches, checked plug ins, rebooted firefox went through the trouble shooting mode, followed advice in the community forum, tired loging in from google linked accounts. Spoke to my our internal IT support at work but nothing has solved the issue as yet, spoke to google support.

My assumtion is that it has to be the browser as I am able to log into google with another browser but firefox is my perfered browser and would like to use it again as such.

Please advise.

Why do i keep getting lagging in my browser? It always seems to say " Mozilla firefox not responding" and freezes for a bit. Everyday especially after i first log on.

Firefox appears as a different application on the Taskbar with some default icon (not the Firefox icon). This happens regardless it is started from the Start Menu or from the pinned Taskbar icon.

This behavior appeared recently, I used Firefox for years on this PC without this issue. I guess it is caused by an update (Windows or Firefox).

OS: Windows 11 Pro 23H2 22631.4169 Firefox: 131.0 (64-bit) Microsoft Store version

After a windows update I get the following message when I try to open Firefox: The procedure entry point ?ToLogLevel@mozilla@@VA?AW4LogLevel@1@H@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library C:ProgramFiles\Mozilla Firefox\xul.dll Then I get Couldn't load XPCOM

I tried uninstalling firefox but it just hung. I restored it to before the windows update but still got the same message

Issue with primary password, I'd appreciate if someone could shine a light on this issue. I feel I'm wasting time unnecessary. Here it comes:

On a given day and out of the blue Firefox starts asking for primary password whenever it needs to save a password for a website. I type my password to no avail. I'm logged in, I can sync but I can't see saved passwords. I reset my password with recovery key. I set a new password. I log in my account. I can see my browsing history but same problem.

Any ideas on how to solve this? Thanks in advance

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to seek assistance regarding an issue we have been facing with Firefox. After some days of usage, Firefox prompts us to create a new profile, and the browser does not function as expected unless we do so.

We have installed the latest version of Firefox several times (2-3 times). We have also created new profiles, but the issue persists. Have Firefox 131. When in FB messenger, when I share a post, the person I send it to gets a pic of the person who initially posted the link. When I click on the picture, it then shows the link I sent. This does not happen in Chrome, or on my Android phone. It only started when I upgraded from 90 something to 131. What gives?
