1: By logging in to my account I am asked to "Enter two-step authentication code"

Upon my knowledge I do not have anything like this. Can I still log in by using my old username and my normal pasword and the be able to sync between my different PCs ?

2: How to sync my EDGE Bookmark list to my Firefox ?

I;m using Firefox and Mozilla services from beginning, since I was child. I noted what MFA is not working, on my both accounts. it was my early guess also since last year but i fought it was my problem. No after resetting and getting notification what password is not correct makes me guess something is off. i might be wrong but looks like internal problem, maybe a breach what no one knows. what can i say from my side, as an IT company director and IT person. i can exclude all my thoughts about my side, since i changed and reinstalled everything on my devies. got fresh OS and hardened every device. problem still exists. maybe someone could check my accounts and internal settings for firefox security on accounts and MFA. since codes are not valid. had to disable mfa on my both accounts.

When I'm on a site that I've accessed on my main machine or phone (Apple), but try to use my Apple ID when logging on via the Firefox browser on my Linux machine, I get a popup asking for a fingerprint. None of my devices use a fingerprint. I get it needs confirmation, but very rarely you get the dotty circle to use with your phone camera, but not all the time. How can I make my life easier and get the dotty circle all the time, or force things to go to my phone for confirmation that it's me - face ID or something.

I've looked on my Apple stuff and can't find anything that will help, so I'm reaching out!

I recently switched over to a physical key for 2FA through Duo for managing several work accounts. When Windows Security pops up for the key authentication, it automatically cancels my Duo login. This doesn't happen if I use Chrome or Edge.

Is there a way to address this via Firefox?

I can't access Duo support easily and have already tried disabling the Windows Security pop-up.

About a month ago, firefox started requesting i use a "USB key" when logging into hotmail or ebay. i do not have a USB key and have not knowingly selected that as an option. how do i turn that off. i can work around it but its becoming more annoying and seems to be spreading to other secure websites.

Hi, please assist. My old Gmail account that I used to login is no longer working when I try to reset password. I don't have a 2FA push code (must have deleted this); however, I tried one of the 2FA backup codes which I do have (ten digit) to sync and access my old account and reset the password, but it is not working. None of the codes are working. Please help me reset and gain access to the account. Can you help me reset the password, and disable 2FA so I can get back in?

When Facebook creates passkey Firefox asks for an USB to be inserted. I have tried to disable USB in the settings ("security.webauth.webauthn_enable_usbtoken","false"). But then Facebook just gets into a retry loop and I can't create the passkey. I use Windows 10, and USB is NOT enabled as an authentication option. I need to fix this as Facebook nags me (in e-mail) to create a passkey.

Hey, I have a new laptop and want to login to my account. My account is an hotmail.com one. After giving the password Mozilla is suppose to send me an email with an authentification number. The email is not coming. Not in the spam section, anywhere. Tried multiple times, same issue. Add Mozilla to my contact list, nothing changes. Tried to change my Mozilla account email address, not possible as I need to pass through this process again. Is my only option to delete my account and creat a new one with another email address?

i've been having an issue with back ups(not the problem here) but at one point, i changed a secondary account to the main one, and now when i try to log in, and it sends the verification email to my email account, i never get the emails, so i cant log back in, i dont recieve any of them, checked spam, and every folder i have, not only for that email account, but for all the ones i have connected to my mozilla account and i dont have any emails there, how can i fix this

Since yesterday I cannot log in to my hotmail accounts via Mozilla. It keeps coming up with the message "Please retry with a different device or other authentication method to sign in". I select sending a code to an email to try a different way but it doesn't even send the code either so I simply cannot log in

I can log in via Microoft Edge so the issue appears to be with Mozilla but I have no idea what has happened or how to fix it

I love Mozilla so do not want to be forced to use Microsoft Edge :-(

I have tried 4-5 times today unsuccessfully to setup my Firefox browser on my new Mac laptop. Cannot seem to actually receive any emails from Firefox with the verification codes. Have checked my spam filters, no emails sent there. Nothing sent to other email folders. Made sure accounts@firefox is in my address book. Not forwarded to another email address. And have sent test emails to my account associated with my Firefox account. They come thru successfully. But nothing at all from Firefox. Is there an email problem today from the Firefox servers?
