How exactly do I turn off ad blockers in Firefox? I clicked on "Firefox Focus For iOS because there is not an option for help when I am on a desktop, using Windows 8.1.

1) Firefox advertised free apps when you signed up for vpn. However, when I signed up for vpn, I didn't get any apps. Did I do something wrong? Why didn't I get the free apps? 2) I don't seem to be able to add the VPN two other computers. It seems to want to sell me (Again) the VPN. I don't want to buy it again, just add my existing VPN to other computers. 3) I have some Macs that run Parallel's. Do I need to add Firefox VPN do the Windows that is running on Mac. Or, does my Mac Firefox VPN somehow protect the windows without adding a separate VPN on windows?

HTTPS://SECURE.SSA.GOV open okay but when go to next page to SIGN-IN, Firefox is blocking it as following/below. What the heck is going on blocking SSA Sign-In after main Website is already open ?!?!?!?!?!

With a recent update of Firefox Developer Edition to version 117.0b9 i keep getting extremely annoying popups on all sites, asking me if I want to translate stuff.

I don't want to store unnecessary settings in my browser, related to exceptions to websites/languages that I want vs. does not want to translate.

I want to completely disable translations, globally. Forever. Two questions:

- Why there is no "disable translations globally" checkbox in the newly added popup? - Is there an about:config hack to do disable translations globally, for all languages, for all websites, and forever?

So I have the latest version of macOS Ventura, the latest version of Firefox, and the latest version of Roblox. Whenever I try to open a Roblox game from their website (yes, I know. Roblox now has the desktop app so you don't need the website to open a game), it opens the app, but not the link, which means it doesn't open the game :( Does anybody know how to get Firefox to open the link and not just the app? (Btw no hate on firefox)

My IDM extension no longer seems to be the default downloader. Downloads now come via the native Windows (8.1) downloader. Can you suggest any way of resolving this issue?

when i open a new tab,add on managers tab also opens. open another tab same thing, so if i have 4 tabs open also have 4 add on managers open it dose not do it in troublshoot mode

In the last couple of days, I have been having troubles editing Google Docs documents. Certain actions cause the cursor to jump around in the document.

For example, if I am sitting in a bulleted list, if I invoke the "increase indent" function through a menu or through the keyboard shortcut (tab key), the increase indent function executes correctly, but then the cursor moves to a new position a few lines earlier in the document.

Other operations cause similar movement of the cursor.

I am not alone in seeing this. I contributed to that thread, and on the advice of Google technical support tried various things. I disabled all my add-ons and refreshed firefox. The problem still occurred. But if I tried Google Chrome, I did not see the problem.

The problem persists across different documents.

I observed the problem in two separate environments: on both my laptop and my desktop computers. In both cases I'm running the latest release version of firefox (117.0.1). My desktop runs windows 11 while my laptop runs windows 10 -- both are up-to-date.

However, my wife can edit the same documents without seeing the problem. So, it's something specific to my environment. We use the same add-ons. The only difference I can think of is that I use a firefox account for syncing bookmarks across devices while she does not.

Since the latest version of firefox installed when I go to this site for my mail Firefox won't auto fill the email address. It won't display any of the users When you tab to the password field, the list appears but only populates the password field.

For some reason Firefox is now displaying in some strange langue. I have gone to settings, langues and have English selected. This should have corrected the problem but it has not. I have gone through the alternate langues menu and have what I believe to be English CA selected. Still a problem?

What else can I do?

A few days ago a friend set up a new computer for me which has Windows 11. I thought he installed Mozilla Firefox for Windows 11, but I'm not sure if he did it correctly. How do I find out if it was installed for Windows 11? Thank you!

Fist I HATE IT when sites try to answer all my damn questions before I can ask. NEVER IS WHAT I'M TRYING TO FIND OUT!!! Second WHY make it so Hard to ask a question???? Have to jump through all the damn loophole. Third why can't I use voice to text. THAT WAS THE SIMPLE MAIN QUESTION ⁉️
