Dlaczego zawsze gdy chcę przetłumaczyć stronę pokazują mi się -tłumaczenie z język polski na język perski? Zawsze muszę wprowadzać, że chcę przetłumaczyć z język angielski na polski na przykład. Nie wiem jak mogę to zmienić by móc szybciej przetłumaczyć konkretną stronę? Skąd zawsze pokazuje się ten język perski. Chcę by zawsze wskazywało mi,że chcę przetłumaczyć np z język angielski na polski i nie potzebuję ustawiać, by wszystkie strony tłumaczyły się na język polski. Może ktoś wie jak usunąć tą podpowiedź tłumaczenia z język polski na język polski i ustawić inną podpowiedź? Dziękuję wraz z pozdrowieniami.

I have installed the English GB language for spellchecking, but it doesnt show in the dropdown menu. It only shows Dutch.

How do I add the Translate icon to my Toolbar - W10 - please?

If I open the following page in Chrome it automatically translated from German to English. https://www.camperprotect.de/p/fahrer-und-beifahrertuerverriegelung-einbruchschutz-2006-2019

I cannot find how to translate it in Firefox. I do not have the Translate icon that is suggested.

It's checked in settings, the US english language pack is installed, I did the about:config thing as well and it's still not working. Oh yeah, also used troubleshoot mode - turned off all addons - and still doesn't work.

Japanese characters usually do not render.

I can reproduce this issue by:

• going to the Wikipedia page for the katakana Unicode block.
• going to any YouTube comment with Japanese text.
• hovering over the screenshot of the YouTube comment so that the tooltip containing the name of the file is shown.

On YouTube the text renders only if 1.27916663885116563rem <= font-size <= 1.92083328962326036rem. Increasing `gfx.font_rendering.fontconfig.max_generic_substitutions` from 3 to 99 allows some punctuation to render and makes the text take up horizontal space. Further increase of the value to 999 causes the interpunct to render in the Wikipedia page.

If I search for something else it comes up in English. I have gone to settings and set my default as English. I have followed all the instructions, but I still get French. How can I change this. I am not French speaking.

I have a Debian 11 VAIO laptop, with Firefox ESR 115.14.0esr 64.

I have tried the settings menus (there is nothing about translation there, not even in languages.

Tried as well the about:config (several entries).

Nothing happens, annoying auto-translation bar shows up all the time and automatically translates several languages.

Really can't stand any longer...

Rất mong cộng đồng hoặc đội ngũ phát triển có thể chia sẻ thêm thông tin về việc liệu tính năng này có nằm trong kế hoạch phát triển tương lai hay không, và nếu có thì dự kiến khi nào sẽ ra mắt. Hi, During spellcheck, the option to accept a flagged misspelling using the "Add To Dictionary" appears in the menu. Where are these entries stored? If they are editable I'd like to fix an occasional error. In addition, I'd like to keep a copy of my own additions that can be dropped into a fresh Firefox install.

as you can see in the image I can't select German as spellcheck language even though I have installed the German dictionary. My Win OS and the browser use English but I want German as spellcheck as well.

What I am missing?

When I write emails or whatsapp messages Firefox signals as false all the words that don't conform English orthography. I would like to switch language either automatically or quickly. What do I have to do?

Since the last update (V. 148.0 ) the translation button in the search bar has gone. I have checked settings there is nothing and there is no translation option in thew hamburger menu. What have you done !!!

I'm quite excited about the translation feature as that was one of the features that was always really useful in Chrome but I missed in Firefox. However, I noticed that Korean is not among the languages for translation.

Is there any timeline or plan to add Korean to the list of languages? Are there any complications that prevent Korean being added at all?

I'd highly appreciate if you could give me some insight into this.

Nach dem Update vom Oktober kann Firefox nicht mehr auf Deutsch angezeigt werden. Die Umstellung auf Deutsch in den Einstellungen haben keine Wirkung. Was ist zu tun?

Hello. After another update, there was a problem with the translation of the settings window. After opening the window, despite the specified browser language (Ukrainian), most of the items are still displayed in English. Attempts to manually edit the settings, reinstalling the browser from a fresh installer on a new system did not help. How to fix it? Windows 11, Firefox 152.0.4
