When backing up bookmarks to HTML - HTML Back-Up does not include the TOOLBAR Bookmarks. Please advise how to include the toolbar bookmarks in HTML format. Thank you.

My bookmarks menu is (empty) and I cannot save new bookmarks. Will not import under manage bookmarks tab. WHY is this suddenly happening on this computer when all my bookmarks and passwords are fine on my other computer?

I'm running 145.0.2 on Mint Linux and Windows 11...

Like many other users, I have an issue in which roughly half of the icons representing bookmarks on my Bookmarks Toolbar have been replaced by the black+and+white icon of a globe. The links work, but because most of them are now the same, it means I have to hover over them to make sure I click on the link I want.

I've tried: Exporting all my bookmarks to HTML; deleting all bookmarks; re-importing Deleting the "favicons.sqlite" database and letting Firefox recreate it Creating a new Profile and importing all my bookmarks "fresh" in to there

Not only does none of this seem to work, the results are actually inconsistent.

This problem has been kicking around for years - certainly for many major releases of the browser. I understand that there could be deep/complicated issues such as a corrupt user profile, for example...

Unfortunately, however, there does not appear to be any consistent or reliable effective advice on how to fix this issue... and nothing I try seems to resolve the problem.

I'd be very grateful for any recommendations on a reliable repair for this issue.

But I'd also be grateful for suggestions as to how we might go about suggesting to the devs that this long-running bug is overdue a permanent fix.

Whenever you go to close a folder from the bookmark menu in the browser sidebar, having scrolled down due to a long list, the menu will not only close the folder but also make you click whatever was in that mouse position on the menu with the menu closed. This means closing a folder having scrolled down will cause you to potentially click open another folder or bookmark unintentionally. This is not an issue on the old bookmark menu, but using that isn't as convenient as the sidebar is.

I HAVE TRIED TO FIND A STREAMLINED WAY TO DELETE MULTIPLE DUPLICATE BOOKMARKS (UNINTENTIONALLY CREATED BY AN OLDER FIREFOX BOOKMARKS IMPORT). BUT I HAVEN'T FOUND ANYTHING THAT WORKS. USING BOOKMARK MANAGER IS FAR TOO TEDIOUS AND TIME-CONSUMING. AND AN EXTENSION ADD-ON I TRIED CREATED EVEN MORE PROBLEMS. I NEED HELP!!

Firefox updated last night and now my bookmarks feature is not working. All of my previous bookmarks are missing. I tried syncing several times to no avail.

 Also, I tried several times to "Bookmark Current Tab" and that feature does not work.  Nothing pops up to select where to file bookmark and when I go back to check, there are still no entries in the Bookmarks. 
 I checked, and I am signed in with my Gmail account.
 When I select a new tab, none of the icons for previously used websites are below the Google search bar.

My bookmarks have suddenly disappeared. I've tried going to manage bookmarks/restore, but it only gives the option to choose a file. Is there any other way to get my bookmarks back?
