I am working on a new computer with Kubuntu and have FF installed via .deb.

On my previous computer, I could drag files from the downloads dropdown (eg download a file and then drag it into gmail as an attachment).

Now this is not possible. Instead, I need to go to the downloads folder in order to drag and drop a file. An extra step and rather annoying.

The problem is persists in Safe Mode.

Is there any way to get the old functionality back?

I just got an add-on called LMMS Music Studio. But every time I click on their icon I am taken to something else called "https://www.offidocs.com/edit-lmms.php?username=810908&fileurl=newfileoriginal" Any ideas?

New version produces "Access Denied" when logging into Chewy.com Please fix this. I tried to add an image, but, like last time, doing so froze the page and I couldn't get back here. Had to start over. Can I revert to the earlier version of Firefox that worked? If so, how?

I am building a website on my hard drive just using files. EX: file:///home/username/notes/main.html <a href="/home/username/folder/file.txt"></a>

I put an anchor link in the html source , and when I click on it I want it to open file.txt with gedit. I can get c files to do it , but .txt files open in Firefox.

For years I have used Firefox and every update has been seemless. This one is terrible!!

Every time I click to open a new tab, it opens a new page Every time I try to change tabs from previous to the update, it will not change. I am stuck on that tab Every time a new page is created I cannot open it because it has a "block pop up windows" and this is a setting that I did not change. I have had to turn off all blocking just to be able to change my password, to be able to typoe here.

You have basically stopped my studies until this can be rectified and I doubt anyone will repond to this message

When I open the Google "Choose an account" page, my account name doesn't show up above my email address. The problem ceases only temporarily when I clear the cache and the Google cookies. Any suggestions?

The YouTube videos load in troubleshoot mode, so I reopened Firefox and disabled all extensions. That did not help, so I uninstall all extensions. That does not work either. Other browsers work, but Firefox does not.

In a simple HTML file containing an Arabic / Urdu / Persian phrase: "با نشئہ درویشی در ساز و دمادم زن", Firefox in Linux (Ubuntu, to be more precise) uses the default font (DejaVu Sans) for the whole phrase except for one character (UNICODE: 6C1). Font used for this character is Noto Sans Arabic UI. So the text looks broken due to different fonts.

I've tried to search but could not find how exactly Firefox resolves preferences in Font Settings and CSS "font-family" preference to local fonts in Linux. Does this have to do something with "fontconfig"?

How can I make Firefox use only the default font for the whole phrase?

Firefox always plays sound through my speakers, even if I select another audio output. The only way I've found to get around this is to open sound settings and disable my speakers. Then Firefox will use the correct output device.

No other applications have this problem, and all my audio devices work fine, excluding Firefox. Any help would be appreciated!

Hello! When I try to log into my Microsoft 365 Outlooks, I get the following message:

'Your browser is a bit unusual...

Try disabling ad blockers and other extensions, enabling javascript, using a different web browser or turning off your VPN.'

I did go in and turn off the ad blocker. I do not have a VPN, and I could not find anything about Javascript on the Preferences page.

Please let me know what to do so I can log into my email.

Please have a look at this link. Everyone on the team is having the same issue that when we try to play it we get this error: "The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported."

This link will work fine in all other browsers. Every other video on the site (over 200 of them) work fine in FireFox, this one will not. We would appreciate any assistance in this matter.

As a professor at a large university in a college town, Google Scholar is a primary resource for me and thousands of others in this city. Doing Scholar searches on Firefox, I am often interrupted by the following Firefox message:

my HISTORY function does not display today's history. The most recent heading is "this month" and does not display recent activity. How do I restore the HISTORY function back to normal?

Just downloaded 113.02 Firefox. Frame around firefox windows and tabs loses Min/Max, "X" exit button and full screen buttons. Coloration of the frame also changes from solid to opaque and back without any input from me. Does seem to vary based on memory usage. High usage appears to cause these symptoms but can't be sure. Controls do not reappear. Double-clicking the frame makes them reappear only momentarily. Uses Windows 7 Pro OS.
