When I tap the middle mouse wheel to enable auto-scrolling (with no additional inputs like clicking, scrolling, or keyboard inputs), on release of the middle mouse wheel, auto-scroll disappears. I can only use auto-scroll while holding down the middle mouse wheel.

I've reached out to other's and this seems to not be the intended/default behavior. I've confirmed middle-mouse wheel scroll (where it's a tap / toggle) works on Chrome as well as other applications like Spotify.

I would like to have it as a toggle. What can I do?

Hello! Since a month I have a strange problem - Firefox wont connect to any Google service - REcaptcha, google-analytics. Any site that uses these services would not load, or loads and waits until connection expires. I tried refreshing Firefox, the uninstalling and re-installing - the problem remains. I do not use any proxy or firewall on my computer. Opera and other browsers do not have this problem. Please, advice.

For weeks I have been trying to find a solution to getting "Error 15" on certain websites when using Firefox. Opera and Edge have no problems with those sites, only Firefox has problems. I have tried every "fix" that I can find on the Mozilla site and none of them work. Is there anything else I should try before I abandon Firefox? Could it be that Firefox is now unreliable under Win7 Pro 64-bit? If so I will have to abandon it because this computer cannot run Win10 or later.

I have an issue with a specific webpage which doesn't load and since it's the second time it is happening I decided to ask for your help. More specific, since today I can't open this webpage: www.offradio.gr. As I said it's the second time dealing with this issue. The webpage seems to work fine, because I already tried with another browser and load fine but not with Firefox. Thanks in advance.

I asked about this a while ago, but now I can't find the response. I go to about 10 websites regularly throughout the day every day. Yet for a few sites, FF refuses to autofill the actual sites I go to. If I type an r, I get Raw Story; if I type C, I get CNN, and so on. But even though I have never typed in "www.rawstory.com," that's what I get when I type a w even though Wonkette is one of the sites I'm on all day. I also never type in "mail.google.com" because I have my email on the bookmarks bar, but that's what I get when I type an m instead of Mediate, another of the daily sites.

And it doesn't stop with Ctrl + delete because they don't turn up on the drop down list; they automatically populate the search bar, and then hitting delete for any reason just removes it from the bar, not from the list of suggestions. So my question is, how can I get Firefox to stop imposing itself on me when there is a clear pattern by now of what sites I visit all the time?

My bank delivers monthly statements as rasterized copies of their paper statements. They are clearly pixelated and not text. However, when I open one of these PDFs in Firefox I am able to select the rasterized text, as you can see from the attached screenshot clip.

How is this possible?

Is there anyway to reset your password without losing bookmarks and other personal data? My old computer crashed and I don't want to lose all that data. For some reason, my password isn't working.

Firefox 109 is horrible and I am trying to revert to 108. I have the "Old Firefox Data" file, but have no idea how to get ALL that info back into 108. I am so very upset and frustrated right now! So much wasted time. I cannot believe Mozilla did this to us with no warning!!!!!!!! I have seen some articles on how to get the info back, but I don't really understand them. I am relatively computer-savvy, but I definitely do not understand how all this works. Some "Firefox for Dummies" at this point would be greatly appreciated. I am on a PC using Windows 10 professional 64-bit with automatic updates so it's current.

Hi, I explained in the query itself. I do not have any add on or downloaded any ad blocker software. But genuine sites are not allowed to for eg. to access a speed test website keralatelecom.info. I get this alert

Hi, I recently began having trouble getting Youtube to work on Firefox.. Doesn't seem to want to connect, slow to open, mostly not at all, sometimes loads half the page....etc Constantly comes back with a message that I am not connected to the internet, which is nonsense.. It loads instantly in Microsoft Edge..which I normally don't use at all. I have deleted all history , Cache etc multiple times and that works maybe for one time and then the problem is back again.

I am experiencing an issue when accessing my website using Firefox on Mac.

The browser blocks the loading of an external Google Adsense script, logging the following error: "Content Security Policy: The page's settings blocked the loading of a resource". Here is an example URL:

To my understanding, the site does not have a Content Security Policy ('CSP'). We don't send a CSP network header or in the HTML, so am at a bit of a loss as to how I debug this.

I don't see the same issue using Firefox on Windows, or with Chrome, Edge or Safari. I have performed a fresh install of Firefox on my Mac to make sure no extensions are causing the issue.

Other websites seem to be running the same AdSense code okay.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having more issues with Firefox running website, such as compared to Chrome, and now I can't get past this error playing videos on the surfing website Surfline "This video cannot be played because of a technical error.(Error Code: 100000)" Any suggestions on how to remedy this would be appreciate.

There is one particular website which is a necessary site for me. It is "realestate.com.au". To date, this is the only website displaying these quirks, however there could easily be more which I have not yet tripped over. The home page will open, but trying to open anything under it (account, login, search etc.) results in a plain white page with no data. I can operate the site normally on Chrome or Safari so it is clearly something in Firefox settings. I have tried to install a back version (107) to check that the latest uplift didn't introduce any undesirable attributes. I cannot see any settings which may be causing this so any hints or suggestions from the community would be greatly appreciated.

Trying to login to www.visualmicro.com forum site. It has been a while since I've used the site. Now I'm getting Secure connection Failed - PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR page. I've contacted them and their reply was "The issue you have with the forum is related to something on your pc. The forum is actively used by many users." I've gone through the troubleshooting procedures to no avail. Please advise.

Hi Firefox community, I don't want to store any account login data (also not usernames) on the shared PC that I'm using. In settings > passwords there is no entry, and under access data and passwords any options are deactivated. Although passwords are not stored, Firefox shows the user names/account names whenever I click such field. Where can I deactivate that user names/account names are stored and shown? The Subject says it. I have this line "Your browser is being managed by your organization." in Config under Sync. I am a private user so there is no organization. I want to get rid of this.

I'm trying to troubleshoot why Google Chat will not sound an audible alert while Google Mail does. I can't find any settings that would affect this so naturally I suspect this organization line.

I'm using the Mozilla .deb and not the Ubuntu snap.

Hey all, (thanks for the continued work on firefox and happy new year) I use Firefox sync from multiple devices in my ecosystem, a micture of all three main OS (Windows, Linux and macOS / IOS). Some time ago, I must have had one device which probably generated a new device UID everytime it synced, or some kind of bug in the Firefox IOS client. This results in having a large magnitude of devices in my firefox sync account. I can only delete them one-by-one with a confirmation dialogue and a reload of the page, which is really cumbersome. I have the feature request of some easier device management policy here. Ideas would be either a "delete all" button and afterwards signing in again on all still active devices, or a series of check boxes to perform actions like a delete on multiple devices at once, perhaps even with a "select all" shortcut at the top. I can't delete certificate authentication solutions In the "certificate management" section, I see the "authentication solutions" tab for secure sites, but I accidentally selected the wrong certificate, and now I can't change it. The list is displayed only in the viewing mode, it is impossible to delete or change the solution. What can I do without deleting my profile? Use last version 108.0.2 (x64)
