Why doesn’t Firefox support Messenger calls or end-to-end encryption? I use Firefox as my main browser, but Messenger features don’t seem to work properly, Sorry if this sounds insulting. Thank you.

Allow Audio or Video calls from messenger. and the end to end encrypt as well. if its not too demanding. thank you and sorry for the trouble.

I use Firefox specifically because I appreciate(d) the flexibility and the privacy. Default AI makes it significantly more difficult to customize the browser to my preferences (ie, zero AI anywhere) and threatens the privacy that Firefox is known and recognized for. This is an absolutely incomprehensible decisions; it is no longer a "trustworthy" browser if it incorporates AI. Why ruin a good thing??

Please stop adding AI to your browser. It is making it slower and is a data privacy concern for me as well as many others. If you do not remove them I will be switching browsers. AI is not only bad for the environment, it does not even do the features you want it to do correctly. Please remove AI from firefox, i have been using this browser for years and would hate to leave because you refuse to remove AI features nobody asked for.

Look, as previous users have mentioned, many of us use Firefox because it isn't a bloated AI crapshoot. Syncing across devices and having a pretty skin on is nice, but I'm getting tired of having to manually disable the current AI crap just so I can do some basic browsing in peace, and if this browser adds any more of that tripe I'll be done. I don't want to be, I've enjoyed this browser since it was launched and until recently it's been good to me. But if I have to do any more in-system tinkering I'll go back to Safari because somehow we've ended up in a timeline where that of all browsers is coming up top :|

The talk of Firefox considering the addition of more AI features does not inspire any confidence in the security of the browser I've grown to rely on.

I've only started using Firefox as my main browser recently, because I wanted to avoid the AI bloat that other browsers have. If Firefox's current team goes along with forcing more generative AI features, I will certainly move to a new browser.

Why push AI if it threatens people's privacy and enjoyment of the browser, especially since people like me have moved to using Firefox because Google's AI features have threatened our privacy and enjoyment of said browsers? Not having to deal companies reliance on generative AI features is what brought me and many other new users to Firefox. The idea that this could be taken away is not only going to result in much of the current userbase leaving, but also turn away future uses who may get fed up with how gen AI is being used in their current browsers.

I've recently learned that Firefox is pivoting to use more GenAI in its browser, and not to beat a dead horse, but I think I'm speaking with a large amount of the users of this browser when we beg for this not to become a thing. I specifically switched from Google in order to dodge their AI systems, and it feels like a slap in the face for Firefox to do the exact same thing. Now only is AI terrible for the already deteriorating environment and water, but it also shares misinformation, has encouraged people to end their own lives, steals art from people who put hours into their craft, and is frequently used for deepfakes, non-consensual imagery of people doing various sexual acts, CP, propaganda, and more.

I really thought that Firefox was one of the good ones. I'm immensely disappointed in the fact that they would choose to do this, and if this GenAI thing actually goes through, I for one will no longer be supporting Mozilla, Firefox, or any of their content for the foreseeable future, until they remove these harmful features.
