Hi, Generally I'm checking, if I will manage to migrate from the Vivaldi to Firefox...

But I have the first issue, which is: When I click (not spin!) the middle mouse button on the page to scroll (like it is in Windows), then it has too great sensitivity. It goes like crazy up and down, I didn't see any other browser which implemented it this way. Can this sensitivity be somehow lowered?

I will repeat just in case, I'm not talking about spinning the mouse wheel, but clicking it.

The OS-wide feature for MacOS, text replacements does not work in Firefox. The replacements are great time-saving for me and for everyone who works with forms a lot.

This feature is the reason why I avoid using FF, my experience becomes very limited. Safari, Chrome and Opera all have this feature enabled.

Can this be enabled in FF?

So I have installed 1password to my browser but i need the add on to show in my toolbar but when i click customise toolbar, i cant find the add-ons option. Please help

Our extensions are being uploaded manually - meaning they are signed by Mozilla, and the .xpi files are downloaded from the Developer Hub and distributed to our audience by our deployment processes. Following the recent update on the AMO review process: "All extension submissions with a significantly large number of users are now subject to human review by the add-ons review team before approval" - We wanted to know how it may impact our deployment process as now it is subject to human review

I am wondering if there is a way to get a menu of bookmarks to show up in the context menu when you right-click within a webpage in Firefox.

and I am wondering if there is a native way to achieve the same thing in Firefox? And if not, perhaps an extension? I've searched for extensions like this but haven't found any.

What is the "Find in page" toolbar called?

The 113.0.1 update (sic) moved it to the bottom of my page. I want to search for a way to restore it back to the upper part of the page (probably using userChrome).

(Note: I was happy with my setup in 112.0.2)

I just noticed that Windows Firefox version 113 changes how this userchrome border is rendered.

On my accidental airgapped machine running 112 the border is properly rendered as 1px. But on all my machines running 113 it's being rendered as 0.566667 which is rounded down to 0. I also noticed that my separators between the tabs seem to be thinner.

Before I try to counter it by setting my css to use 2px which is interpreted as 1.7 and rounded down to 1, can you please tell me WHAT is going on? Thanks.

P.S. My userchrome.css include much more than this, hence why it looks strange on a default profile, but the effects are still visible.

How can i use same add-ons difference version? It can be 2 or multiple same add-ons but difference version? Now time it being overwrite, i want to install two version of same plagin. I am also trying to install from file, same thing happened.

I'm trying to migrate from Chrome to Firefox browser. I cant load Twitter and some other links. I get error message. JavaScript not enabled. I can't find a setting anywhere to enable it. Help!!

LastPass logs out every time I close the FIrefox desktop browser. This started about a month ago after a Firefox update. This is a real pain, since I open and close my browser all day long. I have tried several suggestions on this forum and nothing has worked so far.

I am trying to understand if there is a way to customize the tab rearranging behaviour.

In particular, the thing I find very unpractical is that, after a tab is closed, the others do rearrange, but after the mouse goes out of the tab bar. This is particularly annoying when I have to close multiple tabs, since thanks to this behaviour, the tabs which I close after the first one are always the unintended ones.

The solution would be to let the tab rearrangement happen instantly after the closure of the tab. In my opinion even without animations, I do not really care about that.

If you have any suggestions let me know.

Is it possible to change the displayed folder in the Bookmark Toolbar? So that not the folder "Bookmarks Toolbar" is used, but a self-selected?

Benefit:

For example, a Firefox sync account is used across multiple devices. But the most important pages differ from device to device (e.g. work/private). Accordingly, a different folder should be displayed in the Bookmarks Toolbar on different devices.

Good Day All - Previously I had installed a extension for my homepage. I had to reinstall my operating system and now that I'm reinstalling firefox I can't find the extension I was using previously. Is there any way in Firefox to see the history of the extensions tied to my account ?

I had just managed to get the australis toolbar to work (this one https://github.com/wilfredwee/photon-australis/blob/master/userChrome-dark.css). The problem is, along came the 113.0.1 update and now the tabs are no longer drawn properly because the toolbar requires "compact" mode and the new update mes compact mode less "compact". In other words, after the new update the toolbar looks higher.

Question: is there any way to turn off whatever is making the toolbar higher so that australis works again? Thank you!

I am using the latest version of Firefox on the latest version of Mac OS Ventura, 13.3.1 (a). I wanted to have a sidebar showing the websites bookmarked in my toolbar. In researching how to do this, it said I needed to use the menu button at the top left of the address bar to do this. The only thing is I have no menu button! Can you please tell me how to add the menu botton to my address bar so I can use the options it affords. I have added a screenshot of this Firefox window so you can see there is no menu button here.

I would very much appreciate it if you would get back to me as soon as possible so I can make Firefox more workable for me.
