I have various shortcuts saved on the shortcut page comes up after logging in. Its set to 2 rows.. I use it every day. Used it this morning and working perfectly. Been out and when I came back the page is totally blank. I've tried sytem restore to 5th October but makes no difference. I use Windows 10 and read that Firefox are continuing to support Windows 10 I'm visually impaired and use a desktop PC with a large screen. I'm not PC techically knowledgeable. How do I restore my shortcuts or how do I re create them?

A couple days ago, some weird issues have started:

• All my bookmarks are gone
• Any of the buttons in the UI that open a smaller UI do not work (such as the 3 bar menu)
• Similarly, right clicking to open a menu (such as "Save Image") also does not work
• Any dropdown menus in websites seem to also not work. For example, in this very support page, I could not select an option in the "Which topic best describes your question?".

I can't restart and troubleshoot Firefox since I can't access the 3 bar menu.

I recently wiped & reloaded my computer. Multi-Account containers re-installed successfully & I see all my containers. The issue is with sign-in to Reddit.com website. If I try to login using a container, I get invalid username or password error. If I login without using a container, it's fine. I am copy/pasting my account info. I tried different containers; same issue. Tried creating a new container; same issue. Try again without using a container; login to Reddit is successful.

Dear Mozilla Team, I am writing to propose an important feature that would greatly improve accessibility and digital inclusion in Firefox: the implementation of real-time captions directly in the browser. This feature, already available in Google Chrome, automatically generates subtitles for any audio or video content played within the browser, regardless of the platform or service. It would therefore be extremely valuable not only for deaf or hard-of-hearing users, but also for anyone in situations where audio cannot be played or easily understood. Introducing real-time captions in Firefox would represent a major step toward universal accessibility, ensuring that millions of users can enjoy online content without barriers. I am an academic researcher formerly affiliated with an institution that uses Okta as its two-factor authentication service for access to institutional subscriptions (think Elsevier, Cambridge Core, Brill, JStor, etc.). Since I am no longer affiliated with that institution, I am no longer authorized to access that institution's subscriptions. I am not trying to access that institution's subscriptions, however, if I try to log in to these repositories as an individual, I am automatically redirected to my former institution's Okta authentication page.

The browser: Mozilla Firefox 143.0.3. I am able to access other sites on other browsers, as well as in private Firefox windows, which suggests it is a problem with my Firefox account. These are temporary workarounds I can live with only in the very short term. I am under no circumstances willing to switch browsers. I use Firefox for a reason. FWIW, I am also contacting Okta support to see what they recommend.

The computer: Macbook Air 2020 M1. It is a personal computer. I do not have access to another device.

I have cleared my browser history, saved form data, saved site settings, cookies, and cache (x5). I have deleted all saved passwords containing the email address associated with my former institution. I have restarted the browser (x5). I have restarted my computer (x2). I have reached out to IT at the institution (they are flummoxed).

I'm nearing my wit's end with this. I'm working on multiple projects with multiple deadlines. The temporary workaround and constant barrier to access are driving me up the wall. I will be infinitely grateful for a permanent solution to this hellish problem.

Hello- When I am on a website and click link I would expect and want a new Tab to open-- I want it to open it in a new Tab and leave the page I'm on alone so I can go back to the original page.

Instead, Firefox overwrites that page and the tab with the a new one, and I have to hit the back button to get back to that original page. And most often the back arrow button is grayed out and I can't get back at all.

In settings, I've tried checking the box for: 'Open links in tabs instead of new windows' but that doesn't do it. I've also tried checking the box, 'When you open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately,' and that doesn't do it either.

I know that a work-around is to hold down the Ctrl key while clicking a link, but I'd like to set it as a default so I don't have to do that. That's a pain and not a natural function when browsing. To be sure, I want to click on links and that creates a new Tab without Ctrl Keys.

I'm using the latest Firefox. All of a sudden as of this morning, Firefox cannot not load Facebook or Twitter. I can open YouTube and YouTube videos appear but will not play (just a spinning wheel when I try to play). The Amazon landing page is scrambled with code. (see image attached)

I use Ghostery ad blocker but the issue persists when Ghostery is paused. I can use Safari without issue. Can anyone offer any insights?

When switching to full-screen mode in Firefox while watching a video, the cursor won't disappear automatically until you move it. This issue affects all players except the native Firefox player. The bug appeared in version 143 and higher (affects all builds, including stable, Beta, and Nightly). I've tested the issue by rolling back the browser to versions 140 and 142.0.1, and everything works fine. There's a thread about this issue on the Bugzilla forum. macOS versions Tahoe 26.0 and Sequoia 15.7 are currently running. I can't test on other systems.

Firefox has started giving me suggestions via pop ups. Please would someone tell me how to turn off Firefox suggestions?

This is a pet hate of mine. MS suggests games for me to play, and Google suggests that I sign in with a Google account. Now Firefox is suggesting things. Noooo!

I found it at the bottom of three lines> settings. Uncheck: Recommend extensions as you browse Learn more Recommend features as you browse Learn more

This may be a new feature. There are no Google hits for the suggestion wording "keep your email in your taskbar" so I take the liberty of posting this here.

I have Privacy & Security set to Strict with Cookies and Site Data deleted when the browser is closed with only 3 sites in the exclusion tab. I also use a VPN to assist with masking and for connections to defined systems and as part of that I will randomly set it to different countries 'because I can'.

I was looking at the website for the current Rugby World Cup (https://www.rugbyworldcup.com) but it was showing the wrong times for the matches. A little digging showed it had remembered my location from some point last week when the VPN was active and set to Iceland.

There is nothing I can find in my browser settings to permit this and I would appreciate pointers to check further since one of the reasons I have set the higher level of restrictions in my browser is to stop this kind of activity from websites.

Since the Tahoe upgrade I can't login to my google account because the 'Passkey' prompt that the system is supposed to automatically trigger, never eventuates as it used to in Sequoia. I am signed into my account on the same desktop using Safari but my preferred browser is Firefox, so this is quite frustrating.

I am a Firefox user for the last 20 years. I frequently use Google Translate, and I depend on the voice-to-text feature. However, when I try to use it in Firefox, I get the message: “Voice input is not supported on this browser.”

Because of this, I am being forced to switch to Google Chrome, which I don’t really want to do. Is there any workaround, add-on, or upcoming plan to bring proper voice input support to Firefox?

Hi, I just want to ask about the customization option on the new tab's low right corner (the little pencil icon). I've had a background image called "Galaxy" that i thought was pretty, but it disappeared (probably sync settings on other devices, idc) and now the background is just system gray. The issue is that i cannot find the system background in "Themes" nor in the "Customization" (picrel) - there is only "reset to defaults". I really like Firefox and this was pretty cool so I'd like it back. Thanks in advance :)

Appox 2 months ago Firefox updated. At that time I always opened Firefox to Fox news. On the left of my screen I had a long column of bookmarks that I used frequently (bank, Gmail etc). It always came up when I opened the browser. It no longer does. I now have to-Alt B-to bring it up. It works fine except I have bring it up everytime I want to use a bookmark and most times when I get out of the site, it also closes the browser. Some updates are a real pain and this one is for me. Any help would be appreciated.
