I just updated from Firefox 96.0.3 to Firefox 97. When I try to print I get the Firefox preview, even though I have print.tab_modal.enabled set to false. Please fix it so that I can get the print system dialog without going via the Firefox preview. Note that I have now reverted to Firefox 96.0.3 and won't update from this unless the problem is fixed.

Hi, I completely uninstalled the firefox and re installed the latest version. The problem is that I have lost all the passwords and email addresses. how do i retrieve this information Some experts suggested to use recuva. I have tried . But how do I use recuva to retrieve the password. Please explain in detall. If it is saved in pc, please give me instructions how to retrieve. Could I opt for system restore to have the previous firefox with all the passwords. how do I select the profile in roaming folder, appdata roaming folder to copy the same to my newly installed firefox. Please give the real solution for this urgently ,as i have to login to finish web work

I am desperately trying to recover lost tabs from Firefox Browser after 2 crashes, freezing and forced shutdowns. I need the tabs for my work, and as usually happens, this has occurred at a time when I'm running to meet a critical deadline.

I've tried going to history, but the "recently closed tabs" option was greyed out:-( I've tried searching for other solutions, but cannot fine any that fit my situation. I'm not an IT expert - I know my way around what I need to use (i.e. professional worker), so clear & simple explanation would be much appreciated.

Can I recover the lost tabs from backed up data or a previous system image? My system is Windows 7, and I'm currently running Firefox version 115.0.2. All suggestions welcome!

Every time I go to a website that show location (Home Depot, Indeed) it shows my location as Philadelphia, PA. I am in Holley, NY. That's how it used to show up on Indeed. Why is it doing this now?

If you use Full Screen a lot you'll notice that when your mouse cursor is near the top of the screen it often activates the appearance of the Address and Menu bars and whatever other toolbars you have working. The whole screen suddenly jolts down. Then up as soon as the cursor moves down. I cannot imagine the mindset of the designer that implemented it; must have been someone poor on the keyboard that uses the mouse as much as possible. Alt+D activates the toolbar! We don't need any mouse cursor to display it. Especially as we need to type anyway to use the Address Bar. I searched Add-Ons but couldn't find anything. Any ideas of how to stop the cursor from activating the toolbars? Anything in about:config maybe? Anything I can edit in the files? Please! Let's get some sanity back to Firefox Full Screen.

Dear Sir I went to an organization on 21/03/2022 for assistant on an issue, in processing the matter I need to open my yahoo mail box for the relate documents within my mail. A lady who assistant me use her lap top computer to open my mail box - I enter my pass word, then a window camp up to asked if I want to save my pass word (with dark color) or not,(with gray color) I was in a stage of rush I just click on right top Conner 'x' she took her computer to other room ( in where I can not see ) I was too naive and don't know if all of my mails had been read by them? - It is my privacy. When I got home I was worried and at next day I changed my yahoo mail pass word. As my pass words are saved within Firefox when I want to open a site it is auto fill the pass word. 1: Is my pass word will saved in that lady's computer? 2: Although I have changed my yahoo mail pass word is it safe? Can that lady able to get to Firefox to see my saved pass word and open my email box? - explore all my emails? Please help I am really worried. I look forward to hearing form you soon. Thank you. Hi. Is there a way to customize the order of Firefox headers and footers on printed pages (including print-to-pdf)?

I prefer the header to be url only, in the center. While the footer has page on left; title in the center, and date on the right.

This used to be easy to accomplish with print options in older versions, then -- as the print dialog changed (and actually improved a lot in most *other* ways) I had to turn to about:config modifications like those described in the 1/27/21 reply here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1323433. But now I can't seem to find any way to have any control over print headers besides "on" and "off."

One problem I find with having both page title and url on top is that these can be long, causing one or both to be truncated.

I'm using Firefox 115.3esr.

On this site: https://www.orange.pl/twojekonto/zaloguj I can't force firefox to remember username (no problem with remembering password on next step). In older Firefox without WebEx there was addon which allowed to manipulate forms to prepare proper autocompletion data. This addon is not supported with WebEx anymore due to lack of proper functions. Instead Firefox Dev Team claims that mechanism built in current Firefox is enough for such tasks and mentioned addons are not needed. Seems it is wrong thinking.

I tried different approaches to save username for mentioned site but without success.

Various website that contain dynamic content are not being rendered by Firefox to display that content. This is happening with websites that provide transportation information and ticketing, including Amtrak and Peter Pan Bus Lines . It is also happening with a genealogical website, FamilyTreeDNA, on pages that should be displaying family tree information. Illustrations of two pages are attached. I have been able to access the information by using Opera on this same computer and operating system, and by using the same version of Firefox installed on a different computer with different operating system. I am not sufficiently proficient with website development to know or understand what type of dynamic content is being generated by these websites, or how Firefox interprets the content. My suspicion is that some Firefox setting has been enabled or disabled, but I do not know which one it would be.

If I have Mozilla Firefox open for a period of time, if posting a link, or refreshing it's as if there is no internet connection.

Web links in other tabs have no problem, only Tumblr.

Closing out the tab which Tumblr is in and opening a new tab and inserting the link produces the same result as if there's no internet connection.

The only way so far to rectify the problem is to close out Firefox, then restart. There also seems to be a delay in Firefox closing. When I click on the Firefox icon to open it, a pop-up appears that Firefox is already running, would you like to close it?

I have been using Firefox and GoToMeeting for years, suddenly this month (July 2023) I get the following message when I try to open a GoToMeeting session”

“Sorry, this browser isn’t supported. Join in your browser by opening the link below in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.”

I don’t want to use either of those browsers.

What can I do to keep both Firefox and GoToMeeting?

Hi, I have spent hours this morning trying to diagnose a problem with Firefox Update 115. It is Unstable and I can't Stream Music from Youtube or even Amazon Music. Web pages from sites I use everyday are out of order when displaying text as well. It's a real mess. Now, here's the kicker, I haven't been able to stream my music from both aforementioned websites, but get this, if I use the Incognito Browser, Music streams No Problem. Seems like you guys broke something in the main FF browser. I have spent hours trying to debug this and have concluded that your most recent Update has broken streaming links. I can't rollback the Update and that is even more frustrating. Please Fix This. BTW, your Help Pages really stink. Sorry, but they offer no help when the problem is clearly FF. tell me whether i can find a window i closed today having multiple tabs, using "history" and recently closed tabs/windows (both). i especially want to be able to restore the tab for Institute for the Study of War and its companions. i hope you are warm and rested.

to do my regular research, i have lost three or four (or more) windows with multiple tabs, as a result of my reorganizing tabs. i think of each window with one of its tabs, so these would be, "Emma Loop" (which includes all federal court districts tabs and related info); "Kyle Griffin" (which includes various journalist/news tabs); "emptywheel" (which includes various journalist/news tabs); and other such similar windows whose name ID i don't remember.

restore scares me because it will apply to bookmarks.

i recently began migrating from twitter to mastadon, and wanted to add my regular tabs to mastadon. i moved tabs to keep track, but it seems the tab's parent windows disappeared. i cannot be more clear, because i had a total of about 15 windows with multiple tabs EACH. i regularly exited the program to install updates and because of my settings, all the windows/tabs were saved correctly. this is a great feature.

it takes time to create a window with multiple tabs, and i don't have much of a brain, so it's hard for me to learn new stuff. maybe we can work together to clarify what i need. i just want my "lost" windows/tabs to return to the others so i can continue going forward. i blame this guy - the "new twitter owner" - who has even made changes to UKRAINIANS' account performances. thank you.
