i have uninstalled, reinstalled many times. I cannot load the program once it has been uploaded to my laptop. always get error that it cannot find the URL. ICON shows up on desktop but clicking on it just brings up that error.

I normally put the computer to sleep at night, rather than powering down (although I do that periodically). After waking the computer, and clicking Firefox open, the browser loads with the two or three tabs I last had open, and within the minute closes. There's no warning or pop-up window saying what happened. I open it again, and within the minute it closes again. This happens four times. On the fifth try, Firefox opens without the previous tabs and with just one "New Tab" showing. After that it's fine. Also, it doesn't happen if I wake the computer and let it sit for a while before sitting down.

This is an oddity that I can live with. I'm just curious about what's going on.

The shortcut icons on my home screen used to direct me to frequently used websites. Now shortcuts are showing up linking to to recently used websites, pushing off or even removing the ones recently used. I can't find anything in settings to remedy the problem so I have disabled home screen shortcuts. Do you have a patch to correct the problem?

The Firefox stable desktop taskbar shortcut issue unresolved for many months. Every time clicking on the Firefox taskbar/start shortcut is non responsive or it gives the error class not registered. Firefox nighly/developer do not have this issue. Fujitsu laptop, Widows 11 lates upgrades. Please fix.

Firefox launch opens /home/pdl/Documents/Browsers/Firefox/chrome as a new tab, I have set the setting "Open previous windows and tabs" on and off, I prefer this setting to be enabled, my OS is LMDE 6 and Firefox is the flatpak install version 137.0.2 (64-bit), I have also tried the system install and deleted all Firefox in between installs or should I say I think I did, please this is driving me nuts, even with me logged out of Sync this happens.

Hallo, ich habe am Mittwoch 26.02. das Programm PC-Cleaner gestartet und unter der Funktin "Optimieren" WINDOWS - Reparaturprüfung aktiviert. Das Programm lief ein paar Minuten, dann erfolgte ein Neustart, danach wartete ich sehr lange und es passierte nichts! Ich habe nach ca 1 - 1,5 Std. die Task abgebrochen! Wollte dann meinen Browser Firefox öffnen, was nicht mehr ging!!! ...genau so war es mit PC-Cleaner! Ich habe mich dann an den PC-Cleaner Support gewandt aber über den Chat nicht viel erreichen können! Ich wollte das gerne telefonisch klären - war aber auch nicht möglich! Nun habe ich auf die Rückmeldung eines Technikers gewartet! Mittlerweile konnte ich das Programm PC- Cleaner erfolgreich löschen und neu installieren! Aber mein Browswer funktioniert noch immer nicht trotz mehrfacher Neuinstallation! Ich kann Firefox öffnen allerdings nur als Admin, sehe dann meine Lesezeichen, kann aber keine Seite öffnen! Bitte info - Vielen Dank!

I use translation A LOT. (I'm learning a foreign language.) It would help to be able to move or resize the results window. Right now, it covers the original foreign language text. I want to compare the translation with the original text and the fixed size and position of your results window makes that a lot more difficult.

Was in the midst of a Quickbooks data download and Firefox browser disappeared and Windows no longer lists it in programs save for "Firefox Private Browsing" which triggers an "cannot find" error message when I try launching.

Long time user and never had trouble.

There were a few error messages from anti-virus software during the transaction - which I assumed were due to interfacing with someone online doing the data transfer so I ignored them. So it could be related to that.

Firefox was my default browser, on two places on my desktop, now it is gone.

During the QB download process, I had to switch browsers and use Chrome to find my email etc.

I am fine with just uploading Firefox again, though I assume it means I will lose my open tabs and possibly any memorized passwords etc.

Starting yesterday, browsing to the ebay.com url resulted in Korean language text being displayed per the attached screenshot. The same continues today. I tried the ebay options of changing language by choosing a national flag. Choosing the US Stars and Stripes made no difference; I still got Korean text. I tried disabling my VPN; it made no difference. I tried choosing the Canadian Maple Leaf flag and got English text but Canadian prices.

I tried to report the problem (in Firefox) using ebay's contact links; but those links require logging in. I could not because I could not pass the Capcha challenge while remaining in Firefox.

Thinking that the problem might lie with Firefox, I loaded and used the Brave browser. Not only did I get US English and prices straightaway, I was able to login with ebay and report the problem. My VPN is active and has been since I loaded Brave.

Because I have these problems only while using Firefox, I came here to report the problem and ask for assistance resolving it.

We use firefox for accessing several websites for our town. We are getting an error message : "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window." I have tried closing the open window and I restarted the computer several times, with the same result on the message. I am running Windows 11.
