I download Firefox ESR on my Windows 10 machine for transfer to my W7 machine.

Recently, the ESR download changed so I can only get the W10 one, not the W7 one.

I need a link to download the latest W7 64-bit ESR. I think it is currently 115.16.0.

Hopefully the ESR download page can be fixed to NOT only autodetect the OS, but offer other OS versions too.

I keep getting a triangle deal on Firefox that indicates I need to add the "permission request for Firefox extensions" from Mozilla. Is this something I need to install or just information regarding extensions. From reading about this it doesn't appear to be safe because it can access and change nearly everything? I recently got a new computer, Apple iMac. I'm trying to transfer all my bookmarks I have on my older HP computer to the newer computer Apple. I downloaded the Firefox browser to the iMac. I see where there is a link to transfer bookmarks when I loaded the browser. But, when I click on the link, nothing really happens? There is no transfer of my bookmarks for my old computer to the newer computer. My OS with my older HP was Windows 7. My OS with my acquired Apple is Monterey. Can someone be of help with transferring bookmarks from one computer to another? I have many bookmarks so it would be very helpful to be able to make that transfer. Thank you.

Hello, Any help would be tremendously appreciated! Can someone please tell me very briefly the steps to switch from the FF 128.8 ESR version to the latest supported regular version, which I believe is FF 136. From my research, it appears that you can download the regular version and go to about:profiles to switch your profile back to your original one used w the ESR version. Please list the very simple steps (1,2,3 etc) to switch from ESR to regular version for a non techie.

My background, I have an older MacBook Pro mid 2015, which had 10.11 installed (El Capitan) and recently took the plunge & updated to Mac OS Monterey (12.7.6), which was the highest allowed for this older MacBook. The new OS is awesome & fixed so many websites that were no longer working.

Firefox automatically moved me to the ESR version at some point with my older Mac 10.11 OS. I believe my latest supported version was 78.15 ESR. When I recently updated my MacBook OS to Monterey 12.7.6, Firefox updated automatically to 128.8 ESR.

Now, many websites recently seem to be broken (gmail, yahoo calendar, duckduckgo, & others), so moving from ESR to the most recent regular version seems like the best solution (I believe FF 136 is highest supported by Mac OS 12.7.6). Please list the very simple switch steps or point me to an article. Thanks very very much.

can someone please tell me why firefox is trying to install this unwanted file.....i run bitedefender everyday and everyday this pops up it is ANNOYING Online Threat Prevention

firefox.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on an expired certificate to sync.contextualadv.com. We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since websites must renew their certificates with a certification authority to stay current, and outdated security certificates represent a risk. Add to exceptions

I downloaded the latest version of Firefox. The directions tell me to open the file that i just downloaded, which is fine, except that I don't know the file name or location. What is it, and where is it? or how do I f find out?

I just installed the new Firefox version (131.0.2) and the installation gave me a new desktop lnk (the old one is still on the desktop). The new link (to an .exe file in "C:...\AppData\Local\Mozilla Firefox\browser") starts the new version of Firefox in its newborn virgin state, i.e., EVERYTHING from my previous version is missing.

The old link (which points to an identical .exe file in a completely different directory "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\browser" with same date stamp as the .exe file mentioned above) when executed results in an error message: Platform version '131.0' is not compatible with

                                                                                              minVersion >= 131.0.2
                                                                                              maxVersion <= 131.0.2

NOTE: The files in each of these two directories appears to be identical. I really want my old profile back.

After recent update bookmarks disappeared. When I restore them and then close firefox developer edition the bookmarks toolbar is gone again. It seems like a bug in that recent update. Please advise.

When l look at Settings>Updates>Check for updates: I am usually presented with an update such as the one just now: Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus - k32267602 (version 1.443.4.0) current channel (broad) completed00 -

After checking for updates I will then go to SETTINGS> IT clearly shows that I am running Windows 11 PRO.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHY IN PLACES THAT ARE TRACKING ME AND TAKING MY PERSONAL INFORMATI0N, THAT IT SH0WS OR SAYS THAT I am running Windows 10? I often see it if I sign into one of the many different accounts that require 2 factor authentication, which will send me a notification alerting me that someone has signed into my account from a NEW DEVICE. OR FROM AN UNKNOWN DEVICE. That is when they ask if I recognize this login and it shows device and location from which the login attempt is happening. IF I answered honestly, (because it is showing a login attempt happening from a (WINDOWS 10 SYSTEM) and my system shows Me that it is running Windows 11 PR0: it would flag as suspicious and my account would get locked up for sure. Instead, because of the odd hour of the night it occurs, that combined with the location I know it is myself and even though it says "ON A SYSTEM RUNNING WIND0WS 10", I force myself to lie and answer that I do recognize the attempt. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP FIND A SOLUTI0N TO THIS ERROR. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

I am currently on 133.0a1 (2024-10-04) (64-bit) Nightly and the new tab button to the right of the tabs is missing. It will show up sometimes, but I have to go to customize and move some things around, then start browsing and it will pop back up.

I use that button often, how do I get that back?
