I'm finding and have for a while now that Firefox does not work correctly with mainly financial sites and I'm having to switch to Microsoft Edge to get things done. It doesn't matter what I do I don't seem able to correct this problem, turning off ad blocker and tracers makes no difference, clear my cache and basically turning everything off makes no difference. Also another annoying thing irrespective of setting your default browser some links from company emails always default to Edge which I absolutely detest.

In the past 30 days I had these accounts hacked:

3 gmails accounts (all of them the hacker was using Firefox 50)

Microsoft account

Xbox account

Facebook

All my sites (Hostgator blocked my account)

I ran a antiviurs on my PC and cellphone, and nothing was found

Any ideas/suggestions?

Is it safe to have my passowords saved on Firefox?

when i try to use my banking app the payment section shows page not found. bank chat person said it was extensions in my browser. i downloaded firefox , i guess it has extensions too. can i disable the extension or extensions that cause this and which ones do this

I have an email account blocked (jgcaller129@gmail.com) and have tried the sync tab at the top corner of my computer. It sends a message with a number to this blocked email to unblock it- how am I supposed to get an email from you on a blocked account. How do I unblock this account. I have tried several times with the same result now the icon to sync isn't there anymore. PLEASE HELP This email is very important to me. You can send a reply to an alternate email account (also linked to Firefox -jgcaller15@gmail.com).

I keep getting alerts that my computer is infected with viruses and to go to a site called antiplus.co.in to fix the problem... is that legitimate? McAfee does not find any viruses when I perform a scan....

since today the Addons "uBlockOrigin" and "Ghostery" are not anymore working in Firefox. In Chrome all works fine.

When i load a YT-Video, i got an Ad, the Video is black, i see nothing but i hear the ad. This is since today and i never encountered that.

Someone can help me with that?

Transferred everything to a new computer (Windows 11). All my bookmarks transferred just fine but the little logos are all gone and every bookmark has only the little "globe" logo. How can I get back all the individual logos? Thanks, Len

So Im currently trying to watch young sheldon on netflix, and im doing it through firefox, and it wont work, it says error code f7701-1003, thank you for your time.

the color layers have shifted during the playing of videos, mainly youtube. This started a couple of months ago. There is a green line on the bottom of the screen and a definite shift in the colors on everything.

Hi, I have just returned from China. I use a Macbook Pro and am operating Firefox 118.0.2 (64-bit) I now find that when I use Firefox to access websites blocked in China (i.e google, the Guardian) I get a "Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue" message. I can access everything with a VPN active I also got this for Microsoft Edge but the problem resolved by clearing cookies (didn't work for firefox) How can I fix this

For several days I have been receiving pop up scams as illustrated in the first image attached. They repeat themselves every few minutes. The second image is what I received on the website listed at the bottom of the pop up - brnok. stoneheartseeker.top.

How do I stop them, please?

Also, is there a legitimate connection between Mozilla Firefox and brnok.stoneheartseeker.top?

Hi, I'm looking for a way for everything saved on my firefox account including bookmarks, favorites, history etc.. to be automatically saved/backed up, EXACTLY the same way like Apple has it with iCloud.

If I lose my phone, I can log into icloud and get everything 100% the way it was on my new phone.

If I reset my computer, I want to be able to log into my firefox account and have everything exactly the same.

How to do this? I was told the firefox account sync doesn't back anything up...

I have not been able to sign in to my firefox account. I recently re-installed windows and tried to log in in firefox but its giving the error "The request was blocked for security reasons". How do i fix it? Help me i have important bookmarks and websites that i don't want to lose.

So I reformatted my computer today, but the process allowed me to keep all my personal files. I had made a backup in my appdata for all my passwords and bookmarks like Firefox allows when you're in Manage Passwords or Manage Bookmarks. After the formatting, I sign into my Firefox account, and it Syncs almost immediately. When I go into my appdata, the profile has been overwritten by the new sync, meaning all my passwords and bookmarks are now no longer available. Is there legitimately anything I can do??

firefox is missing my language (hebrew) in new the update and i can handle the browser being in english but i can't seem to be able to change the display of the app from left to right back to right to left

i have been using Tor.browser as my default web browser on Macbook for months. Firefox is my 2nd, but two days ago, i was kicked out of Tor, cannot download/use it anymore and the reasons given are as follows:

"Tor.browser quit unexpectedly. Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more detailed information." Ignore Report Reopen (options)

when i have deleted and tried to re-install tor browser, I get the notification that

"Tor Browser quit unexpectedly". No matter what I do

 (I have since done both, obviously & have tried many other things, including trying to Time Travel, which I am not 100% sure how to yet).  the Report states Firefox is responsible for blocking Tor.  how did this happen and suggestions on how to fix.  I have to access Tor to find some pertinent files etc. I have stored there.  thanks

I have the same issue as this guy https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1402931#question-reply Exceptions. I have a new Dell pc and my Mozilla browser is 118. I have had this issue from the time that I purchased the new pc and attached it to my old Dell monitor. I've had Dell and Geek Squad involved both before and after I found this guy's fix in the Mozilla faq's. Before finding that I have had the new pc checked, the old and new monitor checked. All turned out fine system wise. So first suggestion from Dell - new cord - HDMI to VGA - didn't help. New monitor. Didn't help. Finally after much purchasing of technology and no changes a Dell tech was on using Edge browser. I realized that the monitor was perfect and told them so. So they tried Chrome and still the monitor text was fine. Firefox - back to blotchy. That's when I did the search in Mozilla faq's and found this other issue and "fix". I talked a Geek Squad tech into changing my display setting to "Extend Display" in Windows. Text totally disappeared from the monitor. So I've run out of options other than to set up everything under Chrome or Edge which I really don't want to do. But I may have to. In the meantime I've proved that I didn't need a new monitor or a new cord.
