picture-in-picture for videos on the normal instagram feed and posts. It worked last week, it doesn't work now. The little black square doesn't show up on hover anymore, I can't right click at all on videos now.

Have noticed only when i use Firefox i get intermittent flickering on the screen. It does not effect browsing, though it has frozen on a couple of occasions. I don't know if that is connected or just something else.

I have tried two trouble shoot 'fixes' i found whilst looking for a solution and neither have worked.

1 - turning off recommended performance settings and hardware acceleration. 1b - turning hardware acceleration back on.

2 - checking in troubleshoot mode to see if it's an extension. Flickering happened in troubleshoot mode too.

I have changed Firefox's settings to both Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed and to Clear history when Firefox is closes. But after making these changes Firefox is still holding onto my browsing history.

As the title states. At least half the time when you try right-click and use the "Copy" function, the option is greyed out. If you try to Ctrl+Shift+C, it opens dev tools! This happens on multiple systems that I have that are based on Debian/Ubuntu. So basically, copy functionality is broken for Firefox Linux users...

I want to disable Norton Safe Search. I followed Inst. Menu, add ons, extension tab, clicked the 3 dots & then delete. Restarted my computer, but it's still there. I definitely need help.

Often I open a new tab & it's bugged. (It displays fine but the "right click" menu doesn't work.)

The fix is right clicking the tab itself (at the very top) & then clicking "reload tab".

Is there a hotkey for this instead? I hoped ^{f5} would work (control f5) but it didn't seem to.

Hi, I have a link in my website that opens a file in another desktop program. The link looks like this: openwith://C:/path/to/file, but after update to the latest Firefox version (v122.0) the second colon from the link is for some reason removed, resulting in a path like this: openwith://C/path/to/file. This is a problem because the path it now tries to open doesn't exist. Is this a deliberate feature in the new Firefox version or is it a bug? If it is a bug will it be fixed? It still works fine in v121.0.

when using a virtual machine with firefox, during navigating in a coding environment or pressing the "arrow up" key in a command window to re-run the last code, the "Passwörter verwalten" icon appears.

In english it is probably called "manage passwords". That thing is driving me crazy. How can I deactivate that it appears, when pressing the arrow key?

I am not computer savvy as a warning. I have Firefox as my browser. I am having trouble because my email Yahoo and other situations are not working right because they say, " 'Java Script' is not enabled." I did not even know what Java Script was. How do I enable Java Script or what is a substitute that Firefox recommends that will work like Java Script? Thank you

I am on arch linux running wayland, and whenever I visit some webpages (example reddit, github) some character are displayed incorrectly: spaces are incredibly large and numbers appear as . or , or other random punctuation or don't appear at all

As the title says, after a certain update(I'm not sure which, probably within the last few months or so), firefox on my machine starts crashing randomly. Some crash reports:

I'm using Fedora 38 workstation, GNOME as the desktop environment, and Mutter as the wm.

If I'm using google/bing/duckduckgo as the search engine, search suggestions won't show in the address bar. But bing/duckduckgo search suggestions are working properly in the search bar, and after typing in the search bar, search suggestions are shown in the address bar as well.

When I save new bookmarks I can't find them to open them. The list of folders I see in the "Choose . . ." selection is different from the list of folders l see when trying to open a bookmark. The bookmarks seem to be saving in one list but opening from a different list. How do I replace the list Firefox opens bookmarks from with the list the new bookmarks are saved in?

In the default search engines there are: "Bookmarks", "Tabs", "History" and "Actions". When I'm searching using "Actions", nothing happens, so I'm confused about what's its function?

Using up to date Firefox on a Mac, London UK. Recently returned from travel in Japan. The bank cards auto-fill stopped working & Auto-fill does not appear in Privacy Settings (it is not there – no need to request a check please:)?

Spent 2 hours on Mozilla support/community etc. No answers – including 'make a new profile'...(& why - won' that affect history etc)?

Would be very grateful for any help please?

Subject says it all, but it seems to occur with any site, anytime I try to open more than three or four tabs (ctrl-clicking links on a forum, for example) my Firefox instance grinds to a halt and starts consuming most of my CPU (Ryzen 5 3600).

I've tried turning off Firefox's various protections. I tried troubleshooting (formerly "safe") mode, and the problem isn't as bad but is still present as far as I can tell. The only extension I can think that would be making it worse is Tree Style Tab, but I don't know enough about interpreting Firefox profiles to verify.

The only reason I consider this odd is because doing the same thing in Chrome doesn't have this issue on this same device. If I open many tabs quickly, Chrome itself is still responsive. Those newly opened tabs may take a while to load and become interactive, but it doesn't affect the rest of the application. I pay my ISP for gigabit DSL, and as far as I can tell that is roughly what I get. In my case, Firefox doesn't behave this way.
