When i start fire fox it immediately opens 10 additional versions in the background which I can see in task manager and they take up a lot off memory. If i end task them they immediately come back. This only started recently. I noticed it because now when i open say a youtube video it shows it as number 4. This never happened before unless I had the same video open more than once.

If I can not stop this I will have to uninstall.

How can I retrieve password and usernames that are saved in the login forms of visited websites ?

I know how to see "password and login" in Mozilla settings (Private life & Security / Saved Passwords).

But on some websites, the connection to my account is automatic : password and usernames are saved in the login forms (like cookies may be ?), and they are not present in Mozilla setting and Saved Passwords.

I didn't find anything in the web on my request.

Is it possible te recover this recorded data ?

I had a ton of saved tabs and groupings of tabs. I closed what I thought was my only open Firefox window then downloaded and installed the most recent Windows update. When I rebooted, I did not realize I had left a Firefox window open with a single tab. That Firefox became my default and I lost all the tabs I had. Is there any way to get those tabs back? The tabs I had yesterday, 1/22/2026 are the ones I need.

Dell installed a command update and immediately afterwards, Firefox would no longer open, either from the taskbar icon or from settings/apps. I just get a couple of seconds of the blue cycle icon and then nothing, no error message, just nothing. I did download/install repeatedly but I don't get beyond the download screen - as soon as it's 100% downloaded, that's it, no welcome window, nothing. Thanks

Why am I seeing this message on windows 11 and not on my windows 10 machine. I am still using th internet on both machines on the same network but you tube on W11 is constantly having to be refreshed. BRAVE works fine.

I set the about:config settings when I got the new computer early last year. It's been working fine. Suddenly, searches are popping up again to the urlbar.

browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar is still set to false. Keyword.enabled is still set to false.

I see a couple of site references to browser.fixup.alternate.enabled, but it doesn't exist.

How do I get FF back to proper search in the search bar?

My extension for my password manager, 1 Password, will not populate my toolbar as normal. This changed in the past two days . I have tried to deactivate and reactivate the extension to no avail. Can you help?

I cannot log in Firefox account. It says I have to log out to log into my account. All I wanted to do is to remove a phone I reset and gave away from my Firefox device logins, but everything quit working with all the AI chaos.

This has been reported to Unity.org and they can't reproduce the problem. If I open Unity.org on my phone it does the same thing. I pay to use their website and yet I can't use it in Firefox. The refresh happens every second. You have made me open a tab in "Edge"!? Do you have any idea how much I hate that!?
