Hello,

I have today encountered a reproducible issue with Firefox 145.0.2 (64-bit) on my system (CachyOS Linux). Whenever I press the "Print" button in the printing dialog for a PDF file, the browser freezes and no longer reacts to anything. I had to kill the process manually and try again. I have then downloaded the PDF and opened a different application to print it - that worked fine. Is this a known issue with Firefox? Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

I already tried resetting the printer settings in the browser, but that did not change anything.

So I started using Firefox on my older and newer laptops, but I've noticed that on my older laptop it has started giving me the message "You must log in to this network before you can access the internet", although I am already signed in on my Mozilla account there too. My newer laptop has had no issues for the record. Both systems are running windows 11, both have the same account that I am using, etc. If it makes any difference, my older laptop is using an ethernet cable whilst the newer one is connected via Wi-Fi. When I ran into this issue yesterday on my old laptop, the issue somehow resolved itself after I created a bugzilla account, although I am unsure if this was coicidence, so now I am confused why the issue has showed up again. Awaiting any kind of help or advice, thank you.

Hi. When I click on the arrow to go back to previous page, nothing happens. This occurs on any website I am connected to. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Alan

I am experiencing an unwanted UI behavior in Firefox. When I select text on any webpage, Firefox displays a floating “Ask ChatGPT” bubble above the selected text. This happens regardless of the site. I want to disable this feature, but Firefox provides no setting or preference to do so.

This is not caused by any extension. I verified this by checking about:addons, and I only have the following extensions installed:

DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials

Firefox Translations

Gibiru for Firefox

None of them inject any ChatGPT functionality.

I then opened about:config to disable the feature, but the usual preferences do not exist on my system. Keys such as:

ui.textSelectEnabled

browser.selection.menu.enabled

browser.ml.chat.enabled

browser.ml.chat.openai.enabled

browser.ml.enabled

are missing, and Firefox only shows the “add new preference” (+) icon. That means Firefox did not expose any toggles for this behavior.

I am including a screenshot showing the unwanted “Ask ChatGPT” popup that appears when selecting text.

I need instructions on how to permanently disable this text-selection popup, or confirmation on whether this is part of a controlled rollout or experiment that cannot be disabled on my version of Firefox.

I am logging in to my browser as normal, but am still getting the notification "You must log in to this network before you can access the Internet". This is cutting me off from regular internet access as if I was not logged in.

I have recently switched computers, and since it has been a while, I can't remember the setting on the 'about:config' page that I need to change to where when I open a new browser tab, it opens at the end of my list of tabs, rather than as the next tab. Thanks!

On Windows 11 24H2, Firefox 145.0.2, I click file link and select "Save as" on Firefox file open dialog, firefox display "Windows's file dialog was crashed. File will saved as C:\Users\xxx\Downloads\xxxxxxxx.xxx". And downloaded file size is 0. This occurs with any file.

I tryed same operation on troubleshooting mode, and same result. Please tell me the solution.

These are technically two separate issues, but both pertain to functionality of the mouse and keyboard. Whenever I right click to bring up the menu, the options (despite being functional) do not appear in the menu proper. Instead there are just empty buttons. In addition, certain hotkeys aren't working at all. Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to copy paste are doing fine, but Ctrl-T and Ctrl-W to open and close tabs respectively do nothing. Neither of these issues were happening yesterday.

I've received a handful of emails from the Social Security Administration regarding the 2026 cost-of-living adjustment (COLA). Each time I click on the provided sign-in button, Firefox fails to connect. I am attaching a screenshot of the message it gives me instead. Today, on a whim, I tried to sign in using Chrome, and it worked fine. What is wrong with Firefox?

I am looking to find a way to change the time in which I receive updates from Mozilla. Getting an update interferes with the operation of my laptop and to top it off, I don't know that there is an update coming through so I waste so much time thinking I have a problem with my connection, my router, my settings, my laptop. Hugely inconvenient. Why can't I set the time I want updates to come through and not interfere with me while my laptop is in use. This is enough to make me want to drop Firefox and switch out.

I wanted to set keywords for search engines (in order to quickly change them for a single query). This cannot be done for search engines by default (why?), so I had to delete them and create a new one with the same link and my own keywords. But now I can't give them the same name back, firefox says that such a search engine already exists. In general, it doesn't matter to me which letter is there. The main purpose of my appeal is to draw attention to the fact that search engines cannot be edited by default, because it is quite inconvenient. Ever since the last 3 updates, I have been struggling with F1TV. Prior to the very latest update I could still log in after about 4 attempts of loading the site, but now, I keep on getting error messages. On Edge i can log in with no issues. Any ideas on this issue?
