Hello!

I first installed Video Download Helper several weeks ago and it worked fine. However, since the update of 04 March, 2026, it no longer works with YouTube. (It does, however, still work with Instagram.) Having checked all of the settings (which I had/have not changed), I uninstalled it today and then re-installed it. This hasn't helped. With YouTube, the Downloader icon (pinned to toolbar) simply remains grey and does not show any videos when opened. I am using the latest, fully updated version of Firefox with Windows 10.

Can anyone help, please?

Hello,

I have disabled AI according to the instructions given by Mozilla, under settings and AI controls. When I search, I still get the first result as an AI generated result. I want to disable that. I don't need AI's help to understand what I am looking for. I want an old school search without AI.

Is this possible? If not, could you please make it possible?

Why do I have to sign-in to Gmail AGAIN each time I start Fire Fox?

• This even happens when I simply close and restart Firefox. (Not Windows restart)
• Using Windows 11 and FireFox Version 148.0 (64-bit) is up-to-date.
• Using Privacy Badger extension
• Using Malwarebytes Privacy Guard extension.

I previously had a Firefox account registered with my original email address. Recently, I changed the account’s primary email by adding a secondary email address, switching it to become the primary email, and then removing the secondary email address.

After completing this change, I attempted to create a new Firefox account using the original email address that was previously associated with my account. However, during the sign-up process, I receive the error message: "Primary account email required for sign-in."

It appears that the original email address may still be linked to the previous account in some way, preventing it from being used to register a new account. I would like to understand why this is happening and how I can free the email address so it can be used to create a new Firefox account.

What can you do about it?

apps.ngte-welfaretrust.gov.bd has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it.

If you are on a corporate network or using antivirus software, you can reach out to the support teams for assistance. You can also notify the website’s administrator about the problem.

I see this popping up, however my system is running on Windows 11, NOT 10. "Windows 10 reached EOS (end of support) on October 14, 2025. If you are on Windows 10, see this article."

My bookmarks changed on the URL's in over 30 different bookmarks, but the names of the bookmarks stayed the same. I lost a lot of very personal information. What did Firefox do? Not sure when this happened, since I've not used bookmarks for a while.

Hi, I am getting error "Oops, something went wrong loading this content".

I downloaded firefox 148.0 x64 (from your webpage) on my new windows 11 PC. After setting up for a barebone firefox. I set "browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.search.useHandoffComponent" to FALSE to have searches NOT USE address line and that is when I get "Oops..." error. My setup always worked on my Win10 system, can you help?
