Previously downloading files did not close the source website. Now when downloading a file, the source website is closed. Requires logging into the source website for each file downloaded. How can closing the source website be stopped.

after the last Firefox update the zynga game Farmville 2 will not load. It gives me a screen to fix mentioning chrome..but all efforts to manually fix referencing Firefox have failed. Odd that I can load the plain Zyngagames.com on Edge but it seems they too only load a "local" game that is not connected to any network. Help also mentions to make sure I allow to redirect but that "Options" feature to do so is not there. In fact it seems like the Firefox menu system is even much different and expanded. I will add the screens I have tried etc. Pop ups are allowed, turned off enhanced etc. but cannot find any reference to "third party redirects" Any suggestions are appreciated.

I am using Firefox 149.0 (64-bit) with Yahoo.Com as my home page. All of a sudden, when I use the search bar at the top of the Yahoo Home Page, Firefox opens up a blank tab in response. Doesn't matter what I search for, same thing happens. Then, if I close that blank/empty tab and reattempt the same exact search again, it works fine.

This has been happening only for the past few days - was fine before. Is this Firefox? Or is this Yahoo? And how can I resolve the issue?

I can't log into chase.com from Firefox, which I've been doing for years. I get an outage message. But down detector shows nothing. It went on for days so I tried Microsoft Edge with Bing and it works. Is there some Firefox setting I need to change?

For few days, it's impossible to connect to FACEBOOK. I have the latest version of FIREFOX, but I have to use another web browser (EDGE) to connect to FACEBOOK. The problem is the same with my two computers with the latest WINDOWS.

Hi this can anyone shed anylight on this please? I was using Facebook earlier today with no problem then now it won't run nor open yet it runs fine in Google Chrome. I've cleared out the Cookies ect and re-tried but its not pitching anything.

I'm getting totally disgusted with Firefox, Windows 11. FF updates automatically. More and more websites will not open when I'm using the browser, and they open just fine when I switch to another. Since I have used Firefox ever since its inception, it's extremely distressing. It doesn't matter if I turn off ad blocking and tracking software. The latest site that won't open is Substack, which works perfectly okay using the Brave browser. This is probably the 10 instance this month of a website that does not work with FF, including once that always did work just fine.

Other changes are also annoying, but I'll save them for another complaint.

When pasting an image from the clipboard in Outlook Web Access in Edge there's right mouse button option to "Paste as Image". This places the image inline. In Firefox there's no option like this.

Safe mode (troubleshooting mode) doesn't fix this. Ctrl + V or Shift + Ctrl + V doesn't fix it. Shift RMB to get Firefox menu does show Paste and Paste without formatting but it doesn't paste any inline image.

After the last Firefox Update, I can no longer log into my healthcare website. It loads login screen, enter information and it fails to redirect, returning to login screen. mymercy.net works fine with Edge and Chrome. But I have Firefox set as my default to switching is a pain! I have cleared everything.. reloaded firefox and it still does the same. Tried it with 3 different computers with the same result, so there is something about the new update that mymercy.net doesn't like. any suggestions?

Google has added some AI 'ads' to their title page? This just appeared a day or so ago on my system. How did I remove it, block it? Attached is an image of what I am asking about. What is interesting is in Chrome I can explicitly turn this junk off. But when using the Google search title page with Firefox, there appears to absolutely no way to disable it... very nasty way of forcing you to use Chrome?

After being prompted to update the browser this morning, and after I updated it, I can no longer use ChatGPT. Chat GPT will open, but it's unresponsive, can't log in, the arrow button to submit an inquiry doesn't work, and none of the other features of ChatGPT are working

I have contacted Microsoft. After testing the link/page loads in Edge, Chome (with and without addins same in ff) and Brave. But does not load in FF (with addon's disabled) nor in Private browsing FF (no addins obviously) they said to reach out to FireFox for support. I just got a new Dell Windows 11 desktop PC to replace my old Dell Windows 10 PC. Since switching, there are three sites that will absolutely not load the homepage: Paypal, Venmo, and Common Dreams (which is a news site). The same sites continue to load instantly on my old Windows 10 PC in Firefox, and on the new Windows 11 PC on Edge. Firefox is the only browser I use, I just use Edge to test sites, I uninstalled Chrome because of Google's privacy and AI issues.

In the lower left corner of the window for these three sites are the following messages, for the three respective sites:

• Waiting for www.paypalobjects.com...

• Sending request to jssdks.mparticle.com...

• Waiting for www.commondreams.org...

What's going on here? Seems strange that Firefox continues to behave normally on Windows 11 for all sites except these three, and works perfectly for these three sites on my Windows 10 PC. How can I further troubleshoot and fix this? I don't want to have to use Edge to visit these three sites, esp. Paypal and Venmo.

I'm guessing it has something to do with cache or history but am not sure how to proceed...

The fonts are not rendering properly on few websites, example(apnetv.xyz), everything was working fine with stable release of v146.

The beta versions were having the same issue, i assumed it was related to Beta releases, so I switched back to stable one. However now firefox has released stable v147, the issue persists. Kindly fix it.

For some strange reason, I get this response when logging in to local newspaper on Firefox..image one. When loading the same newspaper on Edge, I see this instead...image two. I've been in contact with the newspaper but the techs there can't figure what's happening. Is there a setting I have wrong on Firefox? Thanks for your time.

If I have taken photos in past years on a particular date, I get an email from Microsoft to review them. I normally do it on my phone, but today tried it from my computer. The path is "One Drive" "Photos" "Moments" and then "On This Day." If you click on the photos that in the graphic that looks like a movie strip, a montage of the photos shows up and you can also click on one. However, in Firefox, I click on a picture and the screen goes gray, but nothing ever loads. I thought it was a Microsoft issue so used their help function. The rep and I tried it, then cleared the cache, then tried it in a private setting. We got the same result every time. Then he tried it whatever Microsoft's browser is called and it worked just fine. They said it was a problem on the Mozilla Firefox end, so I'm reporting it. Please let me know if you can help me make it work. I don't like using anything except Firefox.
