On last Firefox update my Password manager was blanked out. I had no username/passwords in my Password Manager although I had previously had over 100. I managed to recover it by logging in to my Mozilla account but now have access to over 7000 of other peoples usernames and passwords on my password manager. You seem to have a major data breech or is this a quirk I don't understand? These other names/passwords show up when I try to log into certain sites, such as Schwab for example, and I have to pick mine out of a host of others to fill in the login info. What is going on?

I am only a home PC customer and have Windows OEM vendor's support only. It supports operation mises about Windows OS and preinstalled applications, but doesn't support Windows's bug trouble shootings. I was denied supporting from FUJITSU CLIENT COMPUTING LIMITED (known as a Japanese company, but a subsidiary of Lenovo now). I copied the raw Japanese text to avoid my failure of translating.

By the answer, I lost any support about trouble shooting.

I ask questions. Have Firefox development team previously confirmed that it works? Does you have Bugzilla ID about functionality check with passkeys in Microsoft password manager or something like it?

A few weeks ago, I started to get repeated messages from Firefox asking me to make Firefox my default browser. Firefox has been my default browser for years, and I have never made anything else my default browser. Anyway, I followed the prompts and re-selected Firefox as my default browser. A little while would go by (sometimes as little as a minute) and I would again get the prompts to select Firefox as my default browser. This append 20 or 30 times. And, every time it happened, all of my saved passwords disappeared, but would reappear when I re-selected Firefox. In the last week, this situation has gotten a lot worse. Now, the saved passwords don't come back. And, the prompt you usually get when entering passwords to a new site offering to save the password doesn't appear any more. So, the only way I can rebuild my saved passwords is to enter them manually, which I am not going to do because it would take a couple of hours and then I'm pretty sure they would all disappear again. Also, I like to go to my homepage when I open a new tab. Can't do that anymore. When I open a new tab, I get a new private browsing window. I have checked all my settings a dozen times, and they are correct. I have combed your support sites and there is nothing there to help me. I don't want to dump Firefox, but I cannot continue with it behaving as it does now. Is there anyone anywhere in your organization who can help me? Thank you.

I use LastPass and I cannot open any login information from the vault. I click on "Launch" (picture uploaded) and nothing happens. If I have a site open I can auto-fill the Username/Password. Some of the sites are tailored to a specific page - I rely on this. It works in Edge and Chrome. It did work before today in Firefox (can't say when specifically). Firefox password management disabled.

I use an independent password manager to store my passwords and prefer it over Firefox's because it has a highly customizable generator for creating new passwords. However whenever I am on a new site, Firefox pops up with a prompt to generate a secure new password (it appears as a drop-down from the item text box). My password manager also creates a pop up/drop down, but it is hidden behind Firefox's and I cannot access it. I need to be able to disable the secure password generator prompt. No FireFox icon on my desktop, though icon for Adobe Acrobat, which I just got from FireFox for FREE! Delightful, THANK you very much. How do I access it's Search Engine, which is why came here, sent by the recommendation from my bank's agent, with regards to my passwords FAILING after each new passwords initial acceptance, but told INVALID next time try to use VALIDATED new password. Most FRUSTRATING.

I'm fed up of all the problems i'm having with Mozilla. i already uninstalled once. i will do it again if you do not allow me to use dashlane and keep putting obstacles in the way. I've been loyal for 10+ years but getting really fed up.

Why all of a sudden I cannot reacht my saved passwords anymore. Also it does nit prefill the saved passwords anymore when going to a website. How come Firefox/Mozilla keeps changing these essential things?? It makes it very much so less productive.

I've included a screenshot of what I get when clikcing on the Password tab. The information displayed in this wcreen also does not work. Clicking on Sync, does just nothing, just showing Sync in grey... Clicking on Login above just show this screen screen again. Useless.

I have configured Firefox to use a proxy, and I stored the credentials in the password manager. However, every time I open Firefox, it asks me to enter the credentials again.

How can I store the proxy credentials persistently?

unfortunately, I have 2 Citibank cards. Your computer password bucket (for lack of a better work) saves both as Citibank. I would like to leave a note indicating which card the password info is related to. How can I do this? If not, why not?

We have been unable to find an explanation of what components of the password file data, like created & modified date, can be included nor any formatting requirements. We've read that only the url, username & password are necessary... does that imply that the date/time fields would not be included if provided when imported?

Following the format of an Exported CSV password file seems reasonable... but risky as it could corrupt the existing file?
