I opened up Firefox just now to find that my two profiles currently in use are completely inaccessible. I was faced with a "Create Profile" dialogue that launched me into a brand new profile with none of my settings, keybinds, cookies, extensions, anything. Despite this, I know for a fact that my old profiles are *still* there. As you can see my profile folders are right there, with all their data intact as far as I can tell from inspecting their contents, yet they are not accessible from the about:profiles.

Please help me. What is happening with the profile manager? How do I access those old profiles?

Hello I got a pop up or it was new tab informing about new firefox functions. It was about profile creation and management. Now i have two profiles and cant switch back to my old one. I cant seem to be able to delete new profile to return to my old one.

I have a folder/subfolder, Old Firefox Data/ukn05f6l.default-release, on my desktop created 11/30/2024.

Any ideas what it is? It is huge...940mb.

Can I delete it?

I am using Firefox in Malaysia. I updated with the latest browser, but I do not see the new profile management (https://blog.mozilla.org/en/firefox/profile-management/).

Is this feature available in certain countries?

I'm 70 years old and somehow yesterday I pushed a botton that closed out my dashlane password saver and I nned help getting normal settings back please. I can't get into emails etc. Please call me at [edited from community support forum]

I have an account with Chewy. When I try to access the link to "My Pet" I receive this message:

400 Bad request Your browser sent an invalid request.

I don't understand why or how to correct it.

I can not get into my Yahoo Email account. When I log in it says, "Something's gone wrong".

I can get into my Email through a different browser on the same computer. This started last 

Wednesday (01-29) or Thursday (01-30). Help.

Hi all, I used to run two Firefox instances on the same computer, each one using a different account (as I mentioned in the Subject), but I don't remember how I managed this, so now that I moved to a new computer I can't reproduce it! Thanks for helping, if anyone knows. Regards, Mike

started receiving this error message while on musify.club. It lets me in, then after a few moments the pop up comes back with same code. after research, it has been deemed that I'm only party affected but I can get in on other devices with no issues from same wifi network. please advise. win 10 pc user. thanks.

I have used Firefox for years, both out of conviction and to help protect my privacy, even though I often put up with images and forms not displaying on web pages.

Then, three times in two months, after restarting Firefox, I found all my tabs, bookmarks and browser history had disappeared. The only thing I did between restarts was to run Wise Care 365 to clear some space on my laptop, something I had done hundreds of times before.

The first time the loss occurred I found I had a new profile, a feature I neither wanted nor was consulted about. At least I was able to get back to my original profile. The next two times this proved impossible.

Firefox "support" was of no use. Multiple searches produced nothing which helped. After agonising hours, I was able to retrieve my bookmarks and my Firefox browser history through Microsoft Edge. But as a writer and (award-winning) journalist I cannot afford to risk losing my research and links.

So although I disapprove of some Microsoft business practices. I am moving to Edge. If I have missed something that makes sense of this, I would be pleased to hear it. In the meantime, Mozilla needs to improve its product and customer service.

Hello sir/ ma, please help me resolve this issue of unable to reach a particular site called " nimc selfservice modification site" this i have been having access to before.

Suddenly I cannot access one of my email providers [tutanota.com] because, so its error message says, javascript is not enabled my browser [Firefox is my default browser]. BUT javascript is enabled. [I just checked through taking the steps 1) typing "about:config" in Firefox; 2) clicking "accept risk and proceed"; 3) typing "javaScript" in the select preferences name box; 4) looking at the javascript line for "true" or "false".] Javascript was "true". Help. Please advise.

Every other day, I open FireFox and may get the following error: XULRunner - This profile was last used with a newer version of this application. Please create a new profile. Also, this error may come up while I already have had FireFox open for a while. Once this error comes up, I check the version, and sometimes the version is older than what it was, meaning, FireFox reverted back to an older version on it's own. I created a new profile, but the error comes back. I removed FireFox and all folders, and the error still comes back. There is nothing I can do to stop the error from showing up again. See attached images. I am on Windows 11 23H2, all windows updates caught up, and the current FireFox browser version is 138.03.
