Why have you added pins to each of the pinned apps on main page, its just more extraneous items not needed. that one has to ignore instead of the pins having anything to benefits anyone. We already know that these selections have been pinned.

Why add something has has no benefit and leaves one wondering why?

i share my computer and when someone else uses the browser they see the last page I used. Emails open and they can see my private emails. how do I stop this without erasing history everytime I use it

A recent update removed all of my most frequently visited sites and replaced them with garbage sites, even emails. Is there any way to get them back? That feature was so useful it was the main reason I've stayed with Firefox. It also won't let me remove the ones I don't want to see on that home page. It ignores "delete from history" and "remove" both.

My homepage saved sites are just not showing anymore when I start Mozilla or open a new tab. They are still saved but they are not showing up at all, I have checked about:config and everything is still there. I have tried following things: 1. restart Mozilla 2. restart PC 3. refresh Mozilla (this worked... for 1 day, I had to manually put all the saved sites again but they again disappeared when I turned on PC the next day)

However, if I enter troubleshoot mode, everything is still there and working. So I assumed it is an extension or a theme problem, which would be a great solve if I had any really. I have no extensions and I use the same basic theme that I start with. So I tried disabling hardware acceleration, didn't work. I am running out of ideas really other than switching to Chrome at this point.

Why doesn't Firefox recognize my correct location? It gives me the weather for Chicago, IL on my homepage. I don't live in IL. MS Windows and Edge have my correct location, so why doesn't Firefox?

I have tried to change weather location on my Firefox homepage by putting in the correct town and state, then hitting the search icon but nothing happens, although once I was redirected to the AcuWeather site.

This is not that big a deal as I can get my weather on my Samsung phone, but it is puzzling.

There are some recent very popular images that are upsetting for me personally. Is there are way to keep the RECOMMENDED STORIES active but hid certain (or all) images?

After the update yesterday, all of the pinned icons/links on my home page have been rearranged or replaced with others. I restarted the computer and also closed the browser and opened it. Still messed up, I have several that are the same link and some that are missing.

Any way to get them back in order other than trying to figure out what is not there and resetting it all up again.

Topic doesn't have an applicable topic, so I chose settings. How do I put bookmarks on my home page as icons with URL's? I chose to put 24 of them. I have 18 showing. I want to add more. Sometimes recent places will attach themselves to my home page, even though they are not bookmarks. I want to click on the icons on my home page to go to that directly to the website. I know how to remove an icon, but not how to add one.

bold text I thought I had messed up my Firefox home screen somehow, when I deleted cookies and data (I am 84 and not techy, and not keen on changes!), but now I see that an update has done it. I want my old home screen back, with the 'previous tabs' feature restored instead of the 8 bookmarks that now occupy that space, most of which I rarely use. How can this be done, please?

 I'm using Windows 11

It was suggested that the pencil icon was not enabled.

The pencil icon shows that the shortcuts are enabled in the "on" blue position - 2 rows. I also checked the shortcut box in the firefox settings home and it is "on " as well.

Tried rebooting my Dell laptop running windows 11 and still no shortcut appearance on the opening page.
