whenever i open the Firefox,i couldn't use my location bar.The location bar is not active.I can go for any websites only from the history or bookmarks.please help me to solve this problem.

Firefox is crashing constantly. Crashes with plugins and extensions disabled. Crashes in Safe Mode. Have updated Firefox. Updated plugins. Just started happening out of nowhere on 12/6

have windows xp service pack 3 .adobe reader crashes every time, tried to down load newer version of adobe reader. then Firefox says. looks like im using older version of fire fox. try to download newer version of firefox, then it says my system won,t support it. have dell inspiron 530 desktop, 15% loaded. meets all criteria fox has listed..help

For some days the right side from the content area of my firefox ends after a fix width. Not the content itself - the whole area. How can I solve this problem without resetting my preferences?

I noticed Foxit Reader Plugin throws a lot errors on some pages about PDF document, even though there's none. First I saw this problem on amazon.com. There's no errors on main page, but when I choose any item it throws around 5 errors. Today I noticed similar happens in my hotmail account. When I try to view inbox it throws 8 error dialogs, also page doesn't work in general; can't view emails, navigate folders (just nothing happens if I click). Is there a way to fix this?

Hi there, I get an egg timer cursor indefinitely (I left it for at least half an hour yesterday), whenever I try to "save image as" or download an installer, (for example update an add-on such as Silverlight.) Uploading images to Facebook (as in status updates) result in the same problem.

Task manager has this as not responding. Error is hungapp.

Have reinstalled Firefox, restarted addons, removed extentions in order to figure this out. Other browsers DO allow me to download/upload but both Opera and Chrome (pretty much the only options open to XP) will not allow me to get on facebook due to certificate errors, so that's out of the question entirely.

Firefox 36.0.1 on Win XP, service pack 3 (2003).

I just upgraded to Windows 8.1 now all of my bookmark folders have a super large > symbol

The French and Arabic dictionaries seem to be not compatible with firefox nightly. I have the latest version: 27.0a1. Will updates be made in the coming future to fix that? Many thanks by advance!

Firefox will not open. I have uninstalled, deleted original Firefox folder from my programs and tried to choose both starting Firefox options and starting in safe mode. Below is the last error report that I have from 12/22/14 - however, when the it crashes it says: Details: the program has not identified itself.

I recently had to install Chrome on my computer to access a program that would not open using Firefox. Then I had to uninstall and reinstall Firefox. Now there are no search engine options. In the Options window, no names show up in the drop-down box for selecting a search engine. Restoring the default engine does nothing. In the search bar of Firefox, nothing happens when I click the arrow next to the search icon - no names, no nothing, and when I enter anything to search, pressing Enter and clicking the Go arrow in the search box does nothing at all. What is missing?

my mozilla crashes even while on safe, I did disabled the add ons, I did re installed, I tried to find it this happened after some download, and run a malware software through several times. The first time I tried with safe, it lasted longer, I noticed a couple of times, that when I tried a new page I would not get the home page (which I listed as Google ) but got yahoo, so went looking for some strange software in the control panel, I did remove several that I barely used, but did not find anthing suspicious. Firefox will not run for more than a few minutes at a time. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, and updated. I have tried in safe mode and it still crashes. I can't figure out what is causing this. I have submitted multiple crash reports (60+). There is no real pattern that is evident (certain sites, etc.).

Investigating why FF was using so much memory I was advised to use "Restore Firefox" button. Did that but now I can`t use "tools" "options" `cos it closes the browser. Other menus under "tools" work OK. If I try to download any updates for plug-ins etc the FF browser closes down. Can`t browse my images folders to add to interactive sites.....closes down FF Can type a URL but nothing happens but if I enter a "bookmarked" url or a "history" url then it is OK Firefox is 16.0.1 Any help appreciated please.

Hi - I'm using Firefox v. 24, which I believe is the latest version and since I use automatic updates, I believe that my system is up to date. The problem that I'm having on my Windows 8.1 Preview system (Thinkpad X1 Carbon Touch) and I can't get FireFox to show 100 Gmail lines as a setting that sticks. Every day I try to fix it, but at the next boot-up, it just goes back to 20. Very frustrating!! I haven't had this problem before installing v.24.
