I am using the newest version of firefox, I have no idea on what key I accidentally pressed. My address bar is now very fat, and there's a blank space above the tabs, and that bar is not the title bar. I have tried installing themes but that didn't do the trick. I am using windows 7.
How do I restore firefox to its default view?

The website I visit is trusted but is http. Firefox keep changing it to https automaticly and then I get a 404 error of course. How do I prevent this change?

I asked support from the site and they state it has to be http because no certificat. The site belongs to the city achrchive. I just found out there is no problem in the private window but I still liked it solved for the regular window.

Maybe i didn't search well (quite tired now after some efforts to find), and so a place to adress not to the Firefox users but rather to the Firefox developement team...
To tell them, for exemple : to manage for when we install a new Flash (or whatever) version, the other (older version) not stay, or, if not possible, that we could supress the old version easily (actualy not possible to supress), or, to ease if possible a way for Language Packs and Dictionaries we could just to click integrate them to the soft from mozilla - but keeping the choise of downloading them also -, or, and last but not least, to suggest them manage to copy good ideas - and not the rest, I insist on this point ! - of the competitors... like, signaling when we're looking an offline version of a page (shall be an icon)... and adding the possibility for in the site authorizations_-preferences "not to allow cached view" -- and also, why not, "not allow to store in cache at all" for it...)

Odd one this, but the built in screenshot feature on Firefox 70.0.1 will work on Bing serach results, all other sites I have tested it works fine. When clicked it simply does nothing at all. I have replicated this in Safemode for firefox also.
Now either this is an odd bug to do with Firefox, or Bing stops people from taking screenshots from within the browser as the Microsoft snip and sketch tool in windows 10 works fine.
Any ideas would be great, or if other users could try this themselves to see if they can replicate this and let me know if this is a wider issue or it's just me.

I have URL directing MS Word to a file on WebDAV server (ms-word:ofe|u|https://server/file.docx). Word is opening file if address is open from shortcut on desktop or url in IE but is not able to open file if url is invoked from Firefox. Word is launched but shows error . Is process launched by URI scheme somehow dependent on application from which it is executed?

For the longest time, I could go to a page and hit CTRL+S and the entire page would save. It would save an html file and a folder with all the files needed for that page.
Since updating to version 68, when I hit CTRL+S on a page, I get a little yellow dot on the download icon. This is something that has shown up a few times - it means something didn't download. But always if I click the icon I can hit the circle arrow thingy and it will complete the download. So naturally I did that and it said the download completed. But when I went to look for it, it was not there. Sometimes the folder is there with one or two files - or no files.
But here's the wacky thing: if I DON'T attempt to refresh the download and just go to my Downloads folder - the entire page is there. The whole thing. Fully downloaded. But the little yellow dot is on the download icon and there is a circle arrow thingy saying it didn't complete. If I click that circle arrow thingy - after seeing the files had downloaded - it will tell me the download is complete, but the files will have disappeared!
If that ain't a bug, I don't know what is.
It only happens with full page downloads. Everything else downloaded in the normal way (ie right-click, etc) is properly downloaded and the icon displays as expected.

I have several sites all running Wordpress. One site was hacked but after reinstalling a clean backup copy it would not recognise any of the themes. Cut a long story short, I deleted all files and database tables and installed a completely new fresh wordpress, both database and files. But it still would not connect to the themes. After checking and trying everything I could think of I finally tried it in different browsers - and it was working!
So it appears that it is just Firefox that it won't work in. I will say that all my other sites work fine in Firefox, and it also worked in Firefox on the copy of the site I have on my local.
Tried to upload image to show themes in admin section being shown as just empty image boxes, but your upload image here just kept whirring round and round!
Can you PLEASE REINSTATE zoom functionality using touchpad to Firefox? It used to have it... thanks

I've been using FF for a while now, so would be great if this zooming control from touchpad would be really great again!

I think I may have backed up my bookmarks on my PC but not sure where they are? Also tied entering and this dispalys C:\Users\Chris>AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ 'AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. Help please to restore Firefox and hopefully not loose my bookmarks?

On 3 occasions in the last 2 months I have a. updated Firefox - Win 10 still blocked, then b. erased all Firefox application and files - Win 10 still refusing update! No helpful advice found on Windows site : all messages insist on removing or updating Firefox and I have done both without success. What should I do now ?
