Hi, my google ads don't display correctly in google searches - can anyone help please? Mac M1 / Latest Firefox

Formatting is fine for the first second after the search, then chanegs and text displays over the images in the ades and is unreadble, unless I hover my moude over the ad.

Please allow me to preface with I do not know how to code at all and I have found some options to make the scroll bar disappear, but with coding, and I'm hoping for an option that takes that away easily.

I don't think it is any of my extensions causing this, and I don't think it's an option in Firefox to remove the scroll bar.

Please help if possible! It doesn't disappear even when I'm watching videos on fullscreen.

I can load their main page but I cannot log in. I get the error I have attached. Finally, I had to log in from Safari after a lot of hassle and help from a customer service rep. What happened? I have been logging in here for years from Firefox. I am not having this issue with any other site.

My browser displays many websites, emails, etc. using a strange garbled font (see attached image for reference).

I already checked the preference setting for allowing websites to select their own fonts. The issue also persists in Troubleshooting mode. I have also used the "Inspect element" tool when this has occurred, also to no avail. I imagine at this point the only real solution is to delete and reinstall Firefox, but I'd love to hear if someone has another solution! Thanks!

Note that text in bold / italics often shows up just fine. I can also copy-paste any of this text and it displays correctly.

On certain websites I am getting scrambled text, mostly in headings and titles, not so much in body text. I have followed several tips from other posts like mine, i.e., installed Open Sans font, but that did not do it. I turned off hardware acceleration, and cleared the cache. The only thing that did work was to start Firefox in troubleshooting mode. I only have two add-ons running, Short URL and Dashlane, I doubt they're responsible for this. Any other ideas?

Whenever I try to go full screen and hover to the top of the browser, It originally showed all my tabs, but recently it has not been doing that. When I hover over and over, the tabs maybe appear 10% of the time, but whenever I click somewhere else other than the Tab Bar, it disappears.

I think this bug happened ever since I enabled "Hide bookmark toolbar". I have since reverted it back, but the error is still the same. Weird, since my tabs disappear since it has nothing to do with bookmarks.

I have some GeoGebra files with extension .ggb on a website. FireFox will download those files, while other browsers (Safari, Google Chrome) do. How can I make Firefox download these files?

I can't enable USB Devices on about:debugging setup page. I already installed ADB toolkit for MacOS, also I can see my device in ADB devices list: ``` ~% adb devices -l List of devices attached 013db356 device usb:336723968X product:OnePlus6T model:ONEPLUS_A6010 device:OnePlus6T transport_id:9 ```

On the device I've enabled "Remote debugging via USB". But when I click on "Enable USB Devices" button, nothing happens. I can see only "Updating..." message, then "Disabled" again.

Also no devices in the devices list, because USB Devices are disabled. "Refresh devices" does not make any changes.

Created second profile (intended for business use) on my USB stick, I thought that naming the profile in create new profile would create a folder of that name in my chosen destination, it didnt, and created the profile in the root directory of my USB stick, I then realised this had not created a new folder with the name I used in the new profile setup, so then removed profile in the profile setup page, and it deleted the whole USB stick!! Doh. Can I recover the data, ie reverse the profile deletion? I have lost a whole load of important stuff.

Hi there! I can't clear my cache. I go to Preferences > Privacy & Security > Clear Data... but my recent URLs always still show up under History (see image). Please advise! Thanks

When I run Firefox in troubleshooting mode I can log into citibank. When I return to normal I cannot. I've turned one extension after another off. None of them seem to be causing the problem.

This all started when I created a container for Banking. it has been a problem ever since.

Firefox displayed a pop-up box on 10/30/22 or 10/31/22 that I accidentally agreed to. The appearance of all my tabs and screens changed. I'm not interested in any other themes. Community support said to install "System" theme to get the default back, but it's not completely the same. For example, checkboxes on forms display as white checkmarks which are hard to see. In my email, the messages and replies display oddly and are hard to read as the contrast is poor. HOW DO I GET ALL MY DEFAULT BACK?

I had several windows open in Firefox. These have disappeared but I'm not sure exactly when it happened.

'Restore the previous session' does not help as it only restores a single window. I need to go back in history (I have backups so can refer to older files if needed). I have checked 'session-store.backups' and have several .jsonlz4 files, ranging from early October to late October. The older versions are much larger.

Do these files contain my older session data? If yes, how do I load them to get the relevant session windows? I am not worried about losing any data since that time.

I'm on the latest version of Firefox, 106.1, and I'm missing the Firefox View button on my MacBook Pro 13". It is showing on my Mac Mini M1, and both are logged in and syncing properly using my Firefox account.

When I type in about:firefoxview on my MacBook Pro in the URL bar, I see the page but noticed it says "New colorways are on the way" on the right. On my Mac Mini, I see the "Independent Voices" text and an option to "Try colorways".

Bug? Some weird setting on my MacBook? Both are running macOS Monterey, 12.6.

Firefox view is a new feature that looks awesome and I'd love to try it out to sync stuff between devices. There's just one problem:

1. Firefox view works on my laptop and seems to work on my phone, but does not work on my desktop.

For reference:

• Desktop (doesn't have view tab) is Mac Mini 2020 (M1) on Mac OS Ventura 13.0 (22A380)
• Laptop (has view tab) is Mac Mini 2020 (M1) on Mac OS Ventura 13.0 (22A380)
• Both devices are running Firefox 106.0.2 (64-bit)

I have already:

• Made sure "Open Tabs" is enabled for sync on all devices
• Looked for the firefox view in the "Customize Toolbar" menu
• Disabled / Re-enabled Firefox-View in about:config

I would like to open my history page and select an entry and open in it a new tab and the history page to remain open.

It is annoying that the history page closes automatically after the user opens a selected entry. Because I often view history trying to find a previous tab and typically don't find it first go, but then have to reopen history :(

Is it possible to change that behaviour?

With the upgrade to Firefox 106 on Mac, Private browsing windows open with a dark theme by default. How do I enable the light theme for Private browsing windows?

I use Private browsing at work for website testing, and the dark themed tabs / UI are much harder to read and use than with a light theme.

Hello, I am a user on Mac! I am having an issue with moving tabs fluidly. Yes, moving tabs inside the window is easy but when I move them outside the window, it makes me a little uncomfortable. In the images and video I have sent, you can see that an unnecessary thumbnail of the tab pops up even when I move the tabs inside the window. This makes it harder to know if I am even moving the tab in the first place. Then it takes like 2-5 seconds for the new window of the individual tab I moved to appear. If whatever I said is quite confusing which I apologize for, I would very much recommend taking a look at Google Chrome, the browser I don't prefer, however, try moving the tabs around and outside one window and creating more windows with individual tabs. It feels more fluid or swift and easy to handle. Compare that to Firefox and a big difference is to be seen. I am concerned about this issue really because I am replacing my previous browsers, not only Google Chrome but browsers like Edge too which are capable of not having that issue, with Firefox instead and hopefully Firefox can have this capability. I also multitask a lot so I usually encounter this problem on Firefox. I hope this is fixed and am sure it will help a lot of users! Thank you!
