I have tried everything and cannot manage to load any webpage that prompts a reCAPTCHA. The tab immediately crashes.

1- I've tried several webpages. They all work well until a reCAPTCHA pops up, the tab crashes and creates a dump file 2- I tried uninstalling Firefox, including erasing profiles and all Mozilla folders then reinstalling, and selecting refresh. It sill happens. No addons or extensions, and HW acceleration on and off 3- The problems goes away if I run Firefox on Troubleshooting Mode

Version is 94.0.2 (64 bit) running on Windows 10 21H1 on an i7 1165G7

Am I missing something? Is there a way to do a cleaner install?

Thanks for the help!

When I'm using my Firefox for too long or few couple of minutes its suddenly fronzen and stops response. So I need to restart it, killing the process using top, htop or kill commands. It has been weeks that this problem started. I waited for updates and tried reinstall it, but no futher SO updates and reinstall solved the problem, if the new Firefox release updates could put a end to this problem.

I have here some ID number of my bug report that I send to Mozilla, if someone could help understand if its a package/driver or miss configuration I would like to know.

bp-8764ac27-aa1c-4db5-831c-ae2460211031 bp-87b0281c-aae3-418e-8f45-828f20211031 bp-d01fcb65-6123-499a-a3d8-4c7950211031 bp-83d56e36-0d58-4456-a7e5-677370211031 bp-a385f497-2271-4120-bdbb-474440211031 bp-f320a744-5606-4743-87ab-763620211031 bp-4a2d704e-cf83-4eb5-8df0-c10b70211031

When press the upper right button 'x' to close, it says that my Firefox isn't respond due to: 'Firefox: Exiting due to channel error'

I don't know how to fix it or find better logs messages to discover what is happens on the Firefox. I have SO with Windows 10 and I don't have this problem at all.

The text is there, I can highlight it. I am using latest Firefox release as suggested by auto update. I'm using Firefox 106.0.1 on Ubuntu 22.10 from Mozilla's official PPA but when I open some websites the browser crashes with the message "Exiting due to channel error.". I found the error could be related to libwebp with LTO enabled, may be it is, but I rebuilt the Ubuntu's package without LTO and one website stopped crashing, dell.com support page, but several others still crash, like amd.com.

So I have never had a problem with YouTube up until yesterday, anytime I try to watch a video and click play or anywhere on the video it just has a circle that spins in the middle around a youtube button, or sometimes just a black screen.

I have tried clearing Cookies & Cache, tried in safe mode, tried with a new profile, disabled hardware acceleration, I even uninstalled and re-installed Firefox.

Still for some reason I am unable to watch videos and only on Firefox, it works fine in Chrome and Edge browsers.

I am at a loss on how to fix this, and I really don't want to have to use two browsers for watching videos and navigating the internet.

Any Ideas?

Also my Internet is not the problem, I have Gigabit Fiber.

For about a month how I find that the Firefox download list opens by itself multiple times during the day. Most of the time I'm not even actively using firefox, it's just idling in the background. When it first happened I figured it'd be a quickly patched bug and so didn't ask around about it. But I've had a ff update since then and it still happens. Does anyone know why this is happening? I have not seen reports of this via search.

I'm on ff 9.0.1.

Submitting using Chrome, which may have to become my default browser.

Firefox 96.0. Windows 11 Pro Version 10.0.22000 Build 22000

Since installing FF 96, the program has stopped loading pages. Will not even load home page. Starting in troubleshooting mode sometimes works, but sometimes does not.

No extensions are installed.` I have tried Refreshing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Neither helps. Multiple instances of FF are started with every launch, even when the launch results in a blank page.

Any advice would be helpful.

Thank you,

'Release 96.0.1 Does Not Work with Our Ariba PunchOut Catalogs' Users can punchout and add items to the Shopping Carts, but when they try to return the items from the cart back to our local Ariba Application, users receive a "Token Expired" error. When they click the button to return to the Ariba application, there are no items in the requisition.

We experienced the same issue when Chrome released version 80 in February of 2020. We have been recommending Firefox as the preferred browser but now it has the same problem.

Can you provide some way for users to run an older version of Firefox? Version 95.0.2 Works great. I have not upgraded to 96 yet due to this issue. However, many campus users have already installed 96.0.1.

Currently in our environment, only Inernet Explorer or EDGE running in IE mode work with our Ariba Application. Should we advise our campus users stop using Firefox now?

I use a particular web site frequently :

https://www.triumph-trophy.com

On all of the Pages at this site there are Advertisement banners, one across the top of the page, and one down the left side of the page.

Clicking in those Banners used to open the respective advertisers Site. I can't remember now whether it opened in a new Window or a new Tab.

Recently, and possibly since one of the latest Firefox updates, these Advertising Banner Links have stopped working, and nothing at all happens if they are "clicked".

They DO work if I right click and select "Open link in new tab", or "Open link in new window"

They DO work when clicked if I open the Page in Google Chrome.

I have followed advice from previous similar reported problems, without success.

I don't have any Extensions enabled, and am running the Default Theme. I have cleared the cache and Cookies.

Any ideas ?

Thanks.

On certain pages, the rendering is completely off. For example, on Vimeo.com, all the text is gone (see attached pics). I tried Refresh Firefox, but the problem persists. I tried Troubleshoot Mode and that fixes the problem. But when I restart and disable all of my extensions, the problem continues.

This only happens on my work computer Firefox. The Firefox versions at home on multiple computers work just fine.

Any thoughts?

I truly hope somebody can give me some help. I am struggling to understand why my website page containers go nuts on Firefox. I tried so much, I payed a good developer who told me the issue was over, but it is still there. I'm trying everything but my project is being a failure due to very nasty WP Theme issues, like this one. I had to spend my time fixing the Theme and my project completely past its deadline. Maybe I'm going to be fired, without fox.

I clearly cannot add site credentials for anybody, but maybe some developer knows what could be of help.

It seems that the issue has something to do with page Container and Flex attribute. The website is a Wordpress site and the page is built with WPBakery Visual Editor. All updated, no customizations, pages should work easy... As you can see the page title is ok, but then inside the main page container, the Visual Editor rows (which have display = flex) behave as if they had no width. Despite that, changing the flex attribute to display = block targeting FF specifically through Css, it doesn't seem to work either. It's not something simple just as a Row option inside the Visual Editor.

Please see attachments. Many pages behave like that. My questions: - is there a possibility to speak with Firefox assistance and get a clue? - did any developer from community, experience something similar before? How did you manage to solve it? - Firefox, why are you behaving like that with an old supporter?

Thank you to anybody spending his time to help.

Alright first of all I already tried all the tipps about Proxy and basically anything network related. It also happened out of nowhere since I was using my computer the night before but when I tried opening Firefox the next day it wouldnt load any site, crashed if I tried too much or got really weird and even if it did load after a long time of trial and error it only lasted for a bit and didnt load fully either. I'm on version 108.0.2 as of the last time checking. Everything else seems to be updated as well especially since other browsers work perfectly fine. I also cant really click on much since as I said if I try too much it crashes or doesnt work as intended. I'll provide some pictures which might help the cash report just in case.

I'd also rather not try reinstalling everything since I have a lot of rather important tabs open and I dont wanna risk losing any of them since im not sure how well the Firefox sync. works in this case.

I have noticed for awhile now that when I load my Firefox homepage its keeps taking longer, certainly longer than it used to take. Also, when I load a You-tube video it takes about a minute for things to work properly. The video and audio are erratic and skipping and simply disjointed for about the first minute, but then after that period of time the You-tube video runs OK, both audio and video. Something seems to be causing those problems recently that I didn't have previously. The problem seems to just keep getting worse also. I would appreciate any input and suggestions that may help the problem. Thank you.

A couple users at our site intermittently receive a SSL_ERROR_BAD_MAC_ALERT error when navigating to Google in Firefox. This happens in Version 99.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows 10 computers. When the issue occurs, users can navigate to other websites without issues. Navigating to Google in a different browser works no problem. Restarting the browser will resolve the issue. Clearing cookies and site data has no effect. Users can also refresh the page after some time and the issue will go away.

Any idea as to why this is happening?
