If I make a mistake and enter a user name incorrectly it still appears in the drop down menu along with the correct one. In the past I have been able to highlight the incorrect one and press delete but this no longer happens. So how do I get rid of them?

I had not closed my browser so I tried in the Library to "undo" which was not an option. I also tried to find a file "places.sqlite.corrupt" but no file exists. Any suggestions welcome. Thank you

neither of those were answered anyway. I am bumping this issue as I have the same problem. I already tried to disable all addons, disable webgl, disable or throttle HW acceleration, refresh firefox, even tried to swithc to ESR version but none of these helped. I installed chrome, got the identical/functionally similiar addons and tried to watch youtube/twitch - it was going smooth even after longer period of time. Other players not based on html5 are playing just fine though, it is just that html5 player...and on twitch and yt...

Firefox no longer seems to be syncing my bookmarks among devices. In particular, the bookmarks I add on my work iMac do not sync to my android phone or my home macbook pro. I have done the following things to attempt to get things working:

1. Turned off firefox sync on all devices and then back on. 2. Deleted my firefox sync account and recreated it. 3. Deleted and reinstalled firefox on both my android phone and my macbook pro

I have also gone to about:sync-log and see that I seem to have lots of sync errors. I've attached a screenshot of the sync-log screen. I can't seem to attach the txt file of the latest error log, so I'm attaching two screen shots of it as well.

If anyone can help me out, I'd certainly appreciate it!

How do you not display recently bookmarked? It's annoying that anyone can see your recently bookmarked websites. I don't want anyone to see what I recently bookmarked. OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Home Version 10.0.17134 Build 17134 Firefox 60.0.2 (64-bit) Thank you Mike

I am using CSD on gnome3 on Arch Linux with all my close max min buttons moved to the left as they are on the Mac. Is there a way to accomplish the same thing in FF with CSD on? If I turn it off the button are where I expect them because it uses native decorations, but with it on they are on the right as is customary on MSWindows.

Hello, I have a few Gmail accounts and I would like to setup Firefox so that it logs me out of my accounts when I close the browser. I checked with Google and they said it is a setting on my Firefox browser.

I recently installed Ubuntu 18.04 LTS OS on my computer. it came with firefox installed and ive updated all software and packages. Everything seems to work fine except for this one persistent problem. my twitter feed won't display gif's and videos. I keep getting this message:"We cannot play the video in this browser. Please try a different web browser."

During install, a Firefox addon asks for these permissions;

• Access your data for all websites
• Access browser tabs...

If I grant these permissions, could the author of this add-on access my email account data, emails and passwords while it's open on a Firefox tab?

I find the flat, low-contrast, grey toolbar icons boring and a bit difficult to recognize. Most applications offer some form of relieve,for example with gimp it is just one click in the preferences to change to a colourful icon theme, intellij IDEA has a plugin to get rid of those bland, boring, dull grey things. Is there a way to install a different icon set in firefox quantum? As I understand it, complete themes have been abolished and there i not a word about how to replace them on the customization page.

Since the most recent update, opening a new tab does not show my top sites, it just shows a blank page. Top Sites is set to my home page. I saw another user had the same issue but uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox did not fix it for me. How can I fix this bug? It's been giving me many headaches since I use top sites to access my most used webpages when opening new tabs.

Recently, I was forced to format my laptop PC. I didn't keep any files. I want to get my old bookmark collection on my recently formatted laptop. I know that the bookmarks still exist somewhere on a mozilla server somewhere because I still have my phone synced up and it can still access my Desktop Bookmarks folder with all of my bookmarks. I've signed into my firefox account again on my laptop, but none of my bookmarks or settings were returned. How can I force my current bookmarks (the default ones) to be overwritten by my old bookmarks that still exist somewhere in limbo?
