I have the current Firefox version installed. Am using Win 7 Home Premium. This issue started several months ago after a Firefox update. Every time I open a "New Tab", I get this message on the screen, surrounded by a red box:

XML Parsing Error: undefined entity Location: about:newtab Line Number 139, Column 47: <button class="launchButton" id="settings">&abouthome.settingsButton.label;</button>

^

Haven't the vaguest idea what it means or how to get rid of it. Am going back to another support page that tells how to get pinned windows restored that used to show up every time I opened a new tab. Perhaps that will help? We shall see - wish me luck! Thanks to all the Volunteers on this site in advance if anyone has the cure that ails me!

Oh, and before posting this, I did install the Add-On called "Troubleshooter" Regards, Deb and Dakota

These two sites work well on previous versions of FF and also on IE and Safari. This one http://oercenter.grou.ps goes to an error message from the site saying to try later. I have done so numerous times . This one http://opendoorsgroup.mentorcloud.com/ just disappears about a second after it loads. Other sites seem to work OK on 32.0.3.

When accessing any website that contains text and graphics, the text usually downloads first and most people want to read that without waiting for the grphics nor the adverts. But FF32.03 does not allow scrolling until the whole of the page has downloaded, which can take quite a while on slower connections (our is at best 2.5 Mbps, faster is not available). And example would be a page from the BBC News website, most of which contain loads of text and some pictures but I want to read the text while the pictures download - and I'm not interested in the adverts as I never read them. It would be most usely if the page would scroll while the graphics are still downloading. Please can this be implimented?

There aren't really any more details to add. I have checked everything I can think of in the Library folder and thrown out anything I thought might affect it. Firefox is not set as my default browser.

I have read many threads of people having this problem both here and on the Apple Support site. Most seem to be solved by unchecking "Open at Login" in the Dock icon or removing Firefox from the Startup Items in the System Preferences. Neither applies here. HELP!!! I like Firefox and use it from time to time but it seems the only way to stop this behavior is to remove it from my computer, which I will do if a solution can't be found.

Thanks for your efforts.

Hello, in our company we all use firefox (different versions) to use our CRM (SugarCRM). Since some of the PC (with windows 7) updated to Firefox version 33 (64bit) we started getting the following problem while downloading PDF:

"C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\Temp\[tempfilename].part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read."

We tried to downgrade to Firefox 32 and everything seems to be working fine. I already tried to delete the profile, reinstall Firefox, clear cache, delete Profile folder, but nothing helped.

Can it be a Firefox 33 bug? Thanks

When I have more than on tab open and I use the x in the window to close the browser I get the warning that I'm closing x number of tabs. If I click continue it closes the window. This was always all I had to do to end the session and close everything. Now when I restart Firefox all of the tabs that were closed in the previous session appear on the new page. If this is expected why do I get the warning. This just started happening. Version is 32.

After updating to firefox 32, I have found that I am now encountering problems when trying to print both web pages and any content opened in firefox browser. I have confirmed that the issue is not with my printer or its drivers as other applications can print successfully/correctly.

When I select print preview, I see no graphic formatting and only disjoint text that spans dozens of pages instead on being shown on a single page. I have tried different page format settings but nothing correct the content preview.

I have attempted to reset the print_printer about:config value and also removed all printer_ references in the prefs.js file. But, never action corrected this issue.

I am fairly confident that the issue is related to firefox 32 update as I was not encounter this issue before the automatic update.

Any recommendation or help is appreciated.

I had some opened tabs for my work and everytime I was opening firefox, all of those tabs were opening without problems. I am on windows 7 64bit and mozilla firefox 32.0 I am not sure if this happened after a firefox update. Since yesterday, when I open firefox the tabs open but they are all empty (New Tab) This is how it looks http://i.imgur.com/NN8RIVB.png

I also receive a message in a popup A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.

Script: chrome://global/content/bindings/tabbox.xml:441

How can I get my previously opened tabs to work again?

thanks

I'm trying to get the new sync to work. I have two machines, one XP and another Win8.1; both have FireFox 32.0.1 (and report that they are fully updated).

Sync on each machine goes to the same account. The "manage" settings are all the same. The machines are on the same network segment.

I get to the point where I believe this should happen: "After you've signed in, Firefox Sync will start synchronizing your information across your connected devices." , but nothing does.

Why, am I missing a step, a button, some security setting?

I click on an email listed in the inbox message stack to bring it into fullscreen viewing mode. After reading the message I click on the "Delete" icon to dispose of the message. The message that I just read is not deleted BUT on returning to the inbox stack I notice that the next message in the stack is missing. It is now in the deleted messages folder. I can use the Move To function to transfer the incorrectly deleted message back to my Inbox. This error seems to be permanent and consistent. Does anyone else get the same error? Is there a fix for this problem? This method of deleting emails did previously work correctly but I've noticed the problem since about August or September 2014. I'm using the current Firefox under Windows XP with all the available fixes. This problem does not occur using IE.
