I live in Thailand and several websites are blocked by the goverment. Well I tried to use a proxy and checked my IP at samair.ru and the ip of the proxy is shown. So I surf with that proxy. But the several websites are still blocked and you can see that firefox connects to the goverment site. But it does work with chrome and internet explorer! doesn't make any sence to me. I've deleted all cookies!

I used to be able to press full screen and it would be fine and when I closed ff, upon restarting it would restart in full screen. Something has gliched. When I press full screen in regular size, the full screen isn't full, only about 90-95% of screen. I can make it go full screen if I click "maximize " and then full screen , but if at any time the screen isn't maximized, the same thing happens. If I close maximized and full screen it opens with the reduced full screen. I can't move or stretch it out in anything except normal screen, and again, not I click full screen from there. I never had this problem.

In truth I don't know if this started after updating Firefox. But I do have ask.com coming up as my default search engine now and I hate it. In the past others had trouble with this after an update I have read and done the home:config stuff and ask.com persists. I also did all the other add/delete stuff mentioned in other articles.

I have loved firefox. I have a t-shirt. If someone doesn't use firefox I consider them a weenie. But adding "ask" after an update is toooooo much.

I used and want to continue to use google.

I am still having trouble believing that firefox did this.

When trying to print in Firefox, and when scaling the page size in page setup, the first page prints correctly, but subsequent pages do not scale correctly and are too large for the paper, with parts of the text are being cut off at the top and right. This is not fixed by checking or un-checking the "ignore scaling/shrink to fit page width" in the print window, or by changing the scaling%.

I am running Firefox 15.0.1, on Mac OS 10.5.8.

The same problem happens in the print preview and if I save the print as a .pdf

I have tried all the fixes in the how to's and others in various forums with no improvement.

This happens every time I try to print a document scaled up or down only in Firefox.

I probably made a change to the FireFox when I was investigating the history settings but I cannot find the problem. I did change cookies to custom setting&ask everytime&no third party cookies. When I put in the pw to GoDaddy email (the user name is there) and click enter, the page blanks and resets to no pw in the pw field. No error message appears. I ran a virus scan. No problems. I uninstalled FireFox and reinstalled. No improvement. I called GoDaddy and, at their prompting, removed all the cookies and cleared the cache. No improvement. But I can navigate the site perfectly with IE. And I use this email from two other computers (FireFox) with no problems. Comcast is our IP and one other computer I access the email from is also on this provider in the same office.

After trying out a little utility, I got stuck with the Babylon toolbar and home page.... Yes... I didn't spot the little checkpoint to disable installation... Without any problems, I managed to remove all that... But since then, I can't get my home page to stay set to about:blank.... it keeps starting with the Google search page. I did manage to link the homepage button to about:blank, but when I add a new page (by clicking the + next to the most right tab) I keep getting the Google search page... Thanks in advance. Lody J. Initially, I did not request ask.com to become the default search engine and I did not ignore the box making the request. I have made the following efforts to return to google as default: Uninstalled ask.com and its automatic update, disabled all add-ons (including those that did not apply), checked extensions anything that pertained to ask.com (nothing was there), re-downloaded the latest version of Firefox, searched about:config for ask.com and reset it to default (google). On the Start Page the ask.com logo is still in the URL and a test search in the box under the logo yields ask.com results rather than google. Any additional recommendations would be helpful. At this point, I am considering the following: (1) restoring my computer to an earlier date; (2) reseting or removing firefox and reinstalling it; and (3) removing AVIRA.
