The constant updates associated with being a beta user are getting really annoying, and I want to opt out. Is it as easy as uninstalling, downloading the latest update of regular Firefox? Will all of my bookmarks and settings be saved?

Windows 7 x32 Firefox 10.02 The program constantly crashes when I press Browse button (such as gmail attachments, virustotal programs and so on. ) PS I already cleared registry problems and tried to remove MRU from registry, as was mentioned in this topic: https://support.mozilla.org/ru/questions/754368#answer-105628

I need to set up firefox in almost-kiosk mode. I want to disable all of the tool bars with the exception of the back button, forward button, refresh, and home buttons.

I haven't found anything that will hide the bookmarks toolbar. And if I keep in the #urlbar entry, the forward and back buttons appear, but don't work (they are greyed out)?

This is what I have so far:

When I use Google's Advanced Search (http://www.google.com/advanced_search), the result flashes onscreen for about one second, then I see only a blank screen. Hitting "Enter" again does not change this blank screen. This started about two days ago, around the time I upgraded to Firefox 10.0. Could this problem be caused by the upgraded Firefox? When I use the basic Google Search (https://www.google.com/webhp?hl=en), I don't have this problem. My OS is Windows 7.

Firefox used to update itself without any problems when suddenly a message appeared saying that the update cannot be applied as there may be other Firefox instances running. Which are not. And from that day on I cannot update Firefox anymore.

now i am using the latest version of Firefox( 10.0). After booting, i open Firefox browser. It always asks me to install the add-ons which is already i added to browser.

Ex:

i installed firebug add-on. when i open a browser it ask me to install firebug again. after installing the browser must be restarted to enable firebug

   So please reply me for this problem

After I update to FireFox 10 I am no longer able to execute javascript from the address bar. (instead of writting a url I could simply write: "javascript:<javascript here>;" and it worked fine). Is that a bug or this is going to be the policy from now on ? (I hope not ... I don't want to switch browser).

OK, so javascript is not working in my Firefox. I go to websites, try to activate some tabs, or similar, and nothing happens. Theres is a new website, that is connected with my University, and when I try to log on I get a message: Javascript should be enabled to use this website. Thing is - it is turned on. I tried to restart it (turn off -> close mozilla-> open mozilla -> turn on -> close mozilla -> open mozilla -> go to website) but no dice...

When i try to use IE, everything works, so I have NO idea what to do... Can anyone help?

I downloaded fbdownloader and after doing so I noticed changes in my facebook and I am getting random webpages popping up on new windows. there is a link on my facebook that I can't get rid of and I have uninstalled this program but seems there is lingering things that I can't get rid of. What can I do?

I have recently formatted my computer (doing a full system wipe, not just a settings wipe) and now Firefox isn't behaving. If I change my Firefox homepage to another homepage (IE Google) it will save it until I close out all my Firefox windows, then it goes back to the default homepage. I have tried doing a full Firefox uninstall, and deleting my profile and it's not working. I set the files to 'read only' and changed my homepage, and it still went back to the default. I have even deleted the prefs to no avail. I'm positive it's not malware as I have just formatted my computer (It was doing the same thing for a while last time I formatted as well but it somehow fixed itself) I do have Adblock and Status-4-ever installed, but those have been in my PC since before I formatted last time and have never caused a problem. They're also on my other computer, and it works fine as well. Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?

PS. Sorry if I'm in the wrong area. I'm a little bubblebrained today. =P

For one site only, the message that the page will not load appears. I clear my cookies/cache, as per suggestions, but this allows me to access the site once only, then I need to clear the cookies/cache again. How can I solve this problem?

When I downloaded Firefox this morning and tried to play games on Facebook, the page would not come up. It said I needed to download the latest version of Flashplayer. I tried this and it would not initialize. Then I checked Help and it said to uninstall the version I had, which I did, and then reinstall. Now it will not install. I can play these games on Internet Explorer but I have issues with some pages not loading on Google Chrome. I have the pages I need on Firefox to receive my gifts but I cannot play the games. Please help?

I was switched to Mozilla Firefox 10.0 by a Dell representative. I had been using IE8. I have Windows 7-64bit operating system. I cannot read my toolbar on Mozilla it is so small and the font is black with gray background! Isn't that a great combination. Is there anyway to change the toolbar font size and color? I downloaded Amazon add-on on WOW! It is clear as a bell but Mozilla is absolutely horrible. If I can't get the toolbar modified I need to know another browser to use cause after 5 hours of trying to customize and use Firefox 10.0 I'm about done. I can't get any telephonic or chatline support. I've been in the knowledge base till I can recite it! And Kaspersky not compatible. What more of a nightmare do I need.

I am not having this problem in Internet Explorer. I have AdBlockPlus installed as an Add-On to my Firefox browser. I have tried turning it off on You Tube pages, and these still display as html only. Other than this information, there are no relevant details other than those provide in my question. If there is some information you require that I have overlooked, pls. contact me by email and I will be happy to provide information as necessary to resolve this problem.

When i download a file, for some files I can check the "Do this automatically for files like this from now on"

But NOT for all - sometimes that option is disabled.

How do I enabled it?

I used browserspy(http://browserspy.dk/os.php) to see my OS detected via JavaScript (OS CPU detected via JavaScript:Windows NT 6.1; WOW66 ).

I don't need to change User Agent. I managed this with add-on. I used this add-on also to change User Agent for JavaScript : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/user-agent-js-fixer/

It is working i checked on browserspy.dk

But i have problem with operating system. If i change my User Agent to Windows NT 6.2, there will be still Windows NT 6.1; WOW66 detected via JavaScript. The User Agent detected via Java Script will be the right one. So the problem is Operating System.

Can you help me with this one? Can i change it somehow?

Soundcloud HTML5 based widged doesn't show on my website when embedded. It use to work, now there's only blank content box. It works on Chrome and Explorer.

Does anyone have a clue why is that? Really need help.
